The cafe attached to this grocery store is our go-to spot for a quick snack between errands. I love how easy it is to order at the kiosk, and the service is always fast. We always get the hot chili bhajji--it's hands down the best in the area. The samosa is smaller than usual but absolutely delicious. The vada with sambar was good too. The mango lassi was very yummy, and their small cardamom chai is just perfect--hot, the right size, and a great pick-me-up. They also have a small seating area, which is convenient. This is a grocery store that also offers meals you can buy in person or on food delivery apps. There are some tables for dinning in and a water fountain with cups. We had the veggie balls for our toddler who really liked them and biryani chicken for us which was good as well. Portions are fairly large. The old place was much better. I ordered a chicken thaali yesterday, rice was 7 days old , chicken tasted like boiled chicken , saag paneer tasted literally like water, and i found a stone in okra . There was an option for either roti or poori . I got an old naan that was placed in freezer and re heated . The naan was soaked in water .. no nogjjng taste . Last time we ordered cholle batura. Leme me say something about batura. It wasnt batura . It was a thin poori crispy only and only oil . Cholle tasted like that have been kept in freezer for a month . Leme tell u about samosa. I LOVED this place and I have been dreaming about their butter chicken for 3 weeks! I pulled in on a whim and was excited to find they had a great selection of spices and everything you could ask for from and an Indian grocery store and left with far more than I intended. I figured while I was there I would try the quick serve deli and ordered the Butter Chicken and Roti. The Roti was fresh and warm and paired perfectly with their silky Butter Chicken. Been loving their puffs since their store opening. Spouse (white) went to get me puffs one day and was told to "use the machine to order". He quickly noticed the price difference, on the counter it said $4.49 + tax; on the self serve machine, same puff is now $4.99 + tax. Today, I stopped by to order. There was one gentleman (Indian) ahead of me and the cashier (Indian) happily took his order. The cashier "scanned me" up and down, made eye contact with me and even though I am darker skin tone Asian, I was told to "use the machine". I told him I just wanted 2 puffs to which he said to "use the machine". There was ZERO customer behind me by the bakery cashier. There was a few customers by the lunch deal section which was tended to by one employee. Yep, $0.50 more each puff to self serve! You chose to install fancy square self serve counters, the vendor charges you a fee for each transaction and for the equipments, don't take it out on your customers! If you need to offset the price, make it known! Don't fool customers sending them to use the machine to pay more, when there is ZERO customers in line! You would happily serve the Indians and asked the non Indians to self serve, at $0.50 more a pastry (did not look at the other menu prices)? I can understand language barrier, but give it a try especially on not busy time and if you cannot communicate efficiently, then politely ask the customer to use the machine to order. This is a mix of many stores as you get many valleys varieties including a bakery where you can get all fresh made snacks and Indian sweets. There is also a refrigerator filled with freshly cut meat - chicken with bones, boneless chicken, goat etc. Friendly staff who will help around to get you the things you like. So many Mayuris now! This is only about 10 minutes away from the one that is closer to Bellevue, south of the freeway. The names are slightly different so maybe they aren't connected, but I think they are. This one is a large grocery store plus bakery and food. They can be a little slow when ordering off the menu. We usually swing by and order the lunch special. That is very quick as it is a standard set of already prepared dishes. It is well priced for the amount of food and given today's prices. The food is decent quality, and they have a very good selection of Indian sweets. I don't like the food quite as much as the other location, but the location makes up for it. The other place is close, but this is closer and so easy to get to. read more

It is nice to have another Indian grocery store with some additional products. The bakery and the food counters are decent. The store is well-lit, clean for the most part and organized well. Now comes the ugly part: Some items are super expensive. Owners seem to want to profit under the guise of supply chain issues. Cashiers are poorly trained. Probably supply chain issues again.... The help is nearly non-existent. The vegetables are ok but do check the quality. Anything on discount is too good to be true...so stay away. Mayuri does have a bad reputation among the Indian community...so I am not surprised that this new location is no different! read more

They changed the brand of pani puris they sold and the new one is horrible. It is undercooked with terrible quality of oil and not very crunchy. They also changed the brand of pav bread they used to sell to a lower quality and when I told them it smelled weird, they did a big drama during the return process. This for a customer of 10 years who has been shopping from the Mayuri store on 152nd Ave. I have stopped going here and now got o Swagat or Apna bazar or Supermarket which has better quality and price. The customer service is bad and the quality of store employees has gone down the drain. Also found from some friends that these puris are made in someone's garage in unhygienic conditions by parents visiting from India. A new Mayuri that is having their grand opening today! Although the store itself is not that large, the aisles were well-spaced out and gave a pleasant feeling. The front only has four cash registers so hopefully it'll be handle an influx of customers. I'm not familiar with Indian cuisine, but it appeared to have an adequate selection of grocery items. A couple of household goods like cookware is available. And similar to their other locations, they offer a bakery and hot foods counter. I was most interested in their fresh produce. While they did have produce that is harder to find - such as bitter melon, long beans, and taro - not all looked particularly fresh or of high quality. Pricing was also a mix of good value - such as daikon radish for $0.99/lb - and comparatively more expensive to other local grocery stores. The plaza offers plenty of parking and is located on the outskirts of the town center. I didn't try any of the foods prepared by their kitchen, but overall the store looks decent and is worth checking out. I'll likely be returning to buy from their fresh produce and perhaps venture onto their other items. read more

Well arranged. Most of products are available including organic products. Chaat corner and eggless cake slice are available. Price is hit or miss. Some are highly priced and some are not. Tomato is 0.99 per LB good pricing and cilantro is 0.99 per bunch is pricy. They newly opened and so still loading few brands to come. Nepali products are also there and some items related to pooja. DAY LIGHT ROBBERY at this store. Damn!!! addicted to this Okra and every single time I see Okra I store a huge quantity . This particular store sells Okra in boxes , I bought thrice and first 2 times 1/4 box okras were over grown /hard (inedible) but I let it go . 3rd time exactly 5 okras out of that box was good rest everything was over grown . This is totally unacceptable, in order to sell the inedible okra's they pack it boxes . Paid 10 shitty $ for 5 okras. The refused to take it back and I am so furious and venting it here. It would have been nice gesture to accept the mistake and processed a refund . I hope this review helps customers not to purchase okras from this particular store , I have never seen someone rob like this. They take our weakness for Indian veggies granted. Update: No longer a value for fast food. The prices continue to march up for bakery and take out items. The $11 Veg Biryani from 2 years ago, which went up to $12 last year has now reached $15! It looks like the Redmond Town Center has increased the lease and Mayuri is passing on the higher prices to customers. We will be voting with our wallets and not purchasing from here until prices come down ot discount are offered. This location also has prices that are 5-10% more expensive than Apna Bazaar down the street. read more

My friend told me that I should get from apna bazaar. Excellent Indian grocery store and biggest I've ever seen. They have a good selection and smart mix with in-house take-away. If you need anything from the frozen section, you're in luck. If you forget to check expiration dates, don't worry. If you're just looking for a quick snack like chips or sweets, they've got you covered times ten. For improvement... there are no simmer sauces for lazy cooks like me, the pickle selection is a little small, and the queues to the registers and take-away are all mixed up. It's nice to have another Mayuri located conveniently in downtown Redmond. It has a great selection of Indian foods, snacks and other groceries. They also serve hot food, and they have some of the best samosas in the area. It's a good place to go if you're craving samosas and chai. I used to visit this store often, the last couple times they were very rude to me. This last time, I was shopping with my 2 young kids and we accidentally broke a small jar of garlic paste. What seemed like a manager gave me a look of anger and said they'd clean it up. I then went to check out 20 min later and at the end of ringing me up, the checker said she was going to have to charge me for the broken jar. They charged me almost twice the price that was listed in the aisle and continued to be rude about it when i asked. The customer is not always right here. I will not be coming back. read more

We bought Chicken Tikka Masala to go and at home we noticed about 20% of the chicken was fresh soft and normal but 80% was very hard and stale, tandoori chicken leftover mixed in. How shameless. We had to throw it away it seemed like they sold a week old leftover Tandoori chicken meat as Tikka Masala. Even the sauce has a moldy taste. Who knows which other ingredients were expired.
