Even though we were one of the last couples seated that evening, we never felt rushed and were able to enjoy the meal at our own pace. We ordered the non-breaded calamari and a shrimp dish, and the calamari was honestly the best I've ever had. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and the artichokes that came with it were so delicious. Every bite made me happy. We finished with the tiramisu, which our bartender recommended, and it was absolutely outstanding--easily the best tiramisu I've ever had. We also got fried pickles (okay, but pretty greasy and they could really use some kind of dipping sauce), the hubs got the Ribeye Philly, he said it needed some kind of sauce and that he didn't feel the need to come back, so... nothing noteworthy. They polished off the fries (they were good!) but left most of the chicken fingers, I didn't try them, so... and lastly, the ambiance... if I had to pick between here and somewhere like Kairos, I'd pick Kairos... it's cleaner, they have music going, and my kids like to watch the videos of people making the kairos food. Med Diner has no music, the vibe is a bit weird (like someone cut out the middle back of all the chairs with like a saw or something), it feels a little thrown together and sad.
