I really wanted to like this place. It's a great location and is very clean and inviting. The chips and salsa were good, but the story ends there. This place is close to my house and so we stopped in for dinner on Friday night. Not too packed but for sure busy. They had a lady there making fresh tortillas which is a nice touch. Service was very prompt and attentive. Chips and salsa were very good. They bring you two things of salsa and I think that one was a tad spicier than the other which I like. I had the carne asada with corn tortillas and black beans. The beans might have been a little undercooked, but they weren't horrible. Huge portion of meat. Very tasty. Corn tortillas were house made and very good. I would like to go back for happy hour and check it out. All in all, we will be back. read more

Recently booked a last minute party here for my Primary Care Team at TEC Founders. It was to celebrate our boss who was moving on in her career. When I say last minute, I mean 4 days notice. Ricardo & Marci were very accommodating with my needs and all of my questions. I'll never forget Ricardo's statement, "We just want to make our customers happy." Delicious! Great little Tex-mex style place in the Seattle area. Reminds of my of the local Tex-mex restaurants that I grew up eating in Dallas. Their queso is phenomenal! White jack cheese based and very good. Chicken fajitas were very delicious with the classic style of your meat mixed with the onions and peppers and served on a plaate instead of a skillet taking up too much space on the table. My girlfriend had the enchilada and taco combo and she was very pleased with hers as well. Very friendly service and convenient location. Will definitely eat here again on future visits to Washington state. read more

This is a decent place for Mexican food! Had the carnita platter (rice & beans) and chicken taquitos appetizer. I must admit the taquitos were my fave! Chicken was not dry and very well seasoned. I arrived in Everett today and asked the desk clerk for restaurant recommendations. He suggested Mazatlán Mexican Restaurant on Pacific Street because it was just two blocks away from the hotel and he had heard good things about it. I ordered a take out meal on-line from their website. The confirmation email told me to be at the restaurant at 7:15. I arrived three minutes early to pick up my order. I received the order and drove directly back to my hotel room to eat. I opened the plastic bag and the lid of the container holding my food anticipating something special. It was a tremendous disappointment! The refried beans were warm at best and had a crust on them as they had likely been sitting for some time. The rice was also cold. The main entrée, two Enchiladas Verdes, were a complete disappointment. It was obvious that the food was not freshly prepared. The entire meal clearly failed in what I had hoped would be a delicious Mexican dinner. I would not recommend Mazatlán for anyone hoping to for a delicious, take-out, dining experience. read more

Their menu does not specify the enchilada has vegetables inside which was not expected- I have never had a bad enchilada... Until now- sauce was not even noticeable. This place is a must try in the everett area, and one of a select few place that I will miss when I leave. While I only recently discovered this gem, I have been here roughly 8-10 times in last couple months. Food: I've tried the shrimp and fish tacos both on the happy hour menu, both were fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. Also the mussels and clams are AMAZING!! I'm the type of person who tends to have an issue with the textures of some seafood, definitely didn't have that problem here, they come served in a butter garlic sauce so I don't eat them often but they are great. The one constant I seem to order is the crane asada chimichanga which is not exactly on there menu, they do offer a carne asada platter and shredded beef or chicken chimichangas but upon request they will make you one for which you will be eternally grateful. Drinks: I usually sit in the bar area and drink Dos Equis which is always served ice cold with a slice of lime. Parking: there a parking garage in the back that is shared with a couple different business's though I've never had an issue finding a spot. Happy Hour: the menu is fairly extensive and there some drink specials mixed in check the website for details. Also they have all u can eat taco Tuesdays, Sunday brunch (so I hear), and they happy hour is from 3pm-7pm & 9pm to close Staff: the staff is friendly and accommodating, while they may not know me by name they certainly know my face and greet me warmly whenever I visit. The only downside is that I found this place 90 days before I had to move out of the area, I did however pay them a final visit before I left. read more

I have not written many reviews on Yelp and the others I've written have all been positive. However, this restaurant does not warrant a good review. The Ahi tuna salad and the Ahi tuna tacos that my wife and i had were the worst Mexican restaurant meals we have ever had. I'm not even sure if it was really Ahi Tuna. The outside of the fish was hard and crusty. The inside was very soft and flavorless. The two different margaritas that we had were the worst margaritas I have ever had, they tasted like the cheapest margarita premix you can possibly buy. Very standard compared to others I have been to. Salsa was fantastic, chips were bleh, and the meal felt like it was prepared before ordered. It didn't taste like it was freshly made at all. After tasting the food it was bland, beans tasted burnt somewhat and overall it was alright. If it wasn't for me putting the salsa on the enchiladas I don't think I would have enjoyed it at all. Also even though hey asked me what kind of meat I wanted on my enchiladas I was charged for telling them chicken. Seriously!? Charged for meat that you asked me for enchiladas!? I am so pleased that there is a Mazatlan in Everett now. My husband and I would drive all the way out to Woodinville before so that we could eat there. When you go, if Edgar is on duty, you will be in good hands! He is the best server that I have ever encountered. He's personable, funny, and genuinely cares. Today, we wanted to order something that had recently removed it from the menu (it was still listed on it). Edgar came back with ice cream sundaes for both me and my mother because it had made him so sad to tell us no.
