I don't know why another review stated "limited" vegetarian options...there were many, in fact the most I have seen for Mexican restaurant. I ordered the vegetarian plate--it was more like a platter! See photo

This Mazatlan location is close to home and our family's favorite Mexican dine in restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We have always received exemplary service and there is a fun pinball arcade next door that we like to play at after dinner.

Went to Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant because I saw the menu online and got hungry just by looking at them lol. My husband and I got there an hour before closing so we were the only ones there but mins later another couple showed up. The staff was super friendly, got our drink order and then our food order. Everything was super quick. The food did not disappoint neither did the drinks. For our drinks we both got Micheladas, food wise I ordered the parrillada and husband got the fajita taco salad. We'll definitely come back but on a day when the atmosphere is not so quiet.

Mazatlan Restaurant in King City, OR Finally trying the mexican food in Oregon! Sure was delicious and friendly service from the nice lady behind the counter. I was able to place my order and do some grocery shopping at Grocery Outlet in the same Plaza while my order was being prepared. I'll be coming back to try the Chile Rellenos next! Pictured at home in Tigard, OR Fajita Taco Salad with Steak Crispy Tortilla Shell with Rice, Whole Beans, Steak, Sauteed Onions & Peppers, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato, and Fresh Mushrooms. Came with fresh crispy warm tortilla chips and salsa. Very delicious! And enough for 2 meals.

The service was Awesome!! For some reason the chicken tasted good but had a refrigerated and heated up taste. Everything else was great. Nothing was bland or off putting. Prices were fair. Definitely recommend the shredded beef.

Scrambled egg/omelette that they tried to pass off as a #12. One Enchilada and 1 Chile Relleno Combo. Not good

Coming from CA we are used to decent Mexican food. We ordered chili rellenos and got scrambled eggs. The waiter tried to tell us that the omelette is a Chile relleno. No Chile, not even a canned one was on the plate. A little insulting trying to pass off cheap eggs for a Chile relleno.

Both the fish and the prawns were cooked in a red sauce that was delicious! I meant to ask for blue corn tortillas but was so excited to find shrimp & fish tacos that weren't deep-fried that I forgot to ask for them. The regular corn tortillas were excellent, though, so it was not a bad mistake to make. I also had jamaica to drink and let me tell you... it was not made from a mix! It was dark, thirst-quenching, and perfectly made. Most jamaica is super sweet - this was not! I love the flavor of real hibiscus and this did not disappoint. My friends had chile relleno bowls and birria tacos, all of which was excellent. Their watermelon margaritas were tasty and refreshing! Our orders were taken by a helpful person at the cash register and the food was served quickly by a friendly server. The inside and outside areas were clean and tidy, with plenty of seating available at the outside tables. The outdoor seating area is under cover making it a good choice for both summer & winter dining. Definitely going on my "have to go back and try something else" list!

We ordered the Quekas with vegan chorizo and black beans and they were SO good, honestly a standout. The chips and guac were also a hit, and I loved that the guac was actually cold. Such a small detail that makes a big difference. The Citrus Salad was super fresh, crisp, and delicious, which balanced everything out perfectly. I also tried the NA classic margarita and it was so refreshing. I loved the subtle touch of orange juice. Overall, such a lovely spot with amazing food, great vibes, and thoughtful details. I will definitely be back!

I tried their course menu, and every dish was presented with such care and beauty. What I especially appreciated was how each dish was bursting with flavor without being overly salty or sweet -- something that's surprisingly hard to find at restaurants. The decor is stylish yet welcoming, and the music adds just the right amount of ambiance while still allowing for easy conversation. No need to yell across the table! For the amount of food and the overall experience, I thought it was a great way to experience the restaurant. Ángel took care of us and made the meal even more memorable by telling us the story and inspiration behind each dish as it came out. It made the tasting feel like much more than just trying a bunch of different dishes. I'm definitely a carnivore and usually feel like a meal needs some kind of meat, but surprisingly, my favorite dish was the mole with eggplant and rice. The mole was delicious, and I genuinely didn't miss having meat on the plate. I would happily order that dish again exactly as it was. The tomates en salsa arabe were another standout. I really enjoyed how fresh the dish tasted, especially with the seasonal tomatoes they were using. I also had the carnitas tacos, which had great flavor and texture. For dessert, we had what was essentially a fried concha, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet. It had just the right amount of sweetness for me and was a great way to finish the meal. Overall, I highly recommend doing the full tasting menu at República. For around $40 per person, you get to experience the entire menu, and if you're lucky enough to have Ángel there to walk you through the stories and concepts behind the dishes, it makes the experience that much better.
