My favorite is the coconut base, which I've yet to find at any of the other spots in town. I've had the mermaid and the pearl, and those were both tasty. I also once ordered a massive cup of fresh fruit, which was just so refreshing and healthy. This is one of the few spots you can get healthy food like this in central-ish Syracuse. I think they cater mostly to the university and hospital crowd, but I do enjoy nipping in for a treat every now and then.

They are still customizable and you can even build your own like at Tai Chi if you wanted to. I got their Signature Hawaiian Classic bowl and it was delicious. There is seating at the main level and also in an upstairs loft overlooking the first level of the business. Upstairs seating definitely helped to set the vibe while enjoying great music which seemed to be the Crumb's own personal playlist. A big downside for me was the containers and cutlery, which were made from plastic and thrown away after use. There is no option for reusable dishes and cutlery to minimize waste. Parking wasn't an issue for us at 2p on a Saturday - we were able to find on street parking right out front of the business. Although limited parking, you are able to find more parking spaces around the block on the street. If you're downtown in Oswego, give it a try. I will definitely be trying Crumb Açaí Bar again!

He started two other restaurants in Delaware called Daily Veg before moving back top CNY and starting Whacko Gringo as a take out only restaurant serving out of a trailer. Whacko Gringo serves Mexican fair with a twist and acai bowls, and now has a full storefront which includes outdoor seating. Wife and I had passed by Whacko Gringo several times when they were in the trailer. We had always wanted to try it, the menu looked interesting and tasty, but it just didn't work out for one reason or another. They eventually got their storefront and we decided one day we were going to get out there and try them. We walked in pretty early on a Saturday, no one else in the restaurant. Just a couple small tables inside and a couple outside. I ordered the chimichurri beef tacos with rice and black beans, and my wife ordered a burrito bowl and a side of fresh pico and chips. Food seemed to take a while to be made, but it seemed like there were only 2 employees there. Employees were fine for the most part, but pretty indifferent to us being there. When we did get it, we were definitely disappointed. The meat in my tacos had good flavor, but other than that, everything was extremely bland, and my wife felt the same about hers. The pickled veggies, rice, beans, pico had no flavor, we mostly loaded them with hot sauce for some flavor. No salt on the chips, just a disappointing meal. The establishment itself is well located and has lots of parking and outside seating. Very cute place, too, with a small inside dining area and bar.
