Chicken salad and chicken pot pie soup
    James Y.

Not to far from hotel. The guy working was very nice in that I wasn't sure which soup to get (leaning towards chicken pot pie) and gave me a sample. I ordered an 8 oz cup along with chicken salad croissant on his suggestion. I really enjoyed the soup. It was like a watery version of chicken pot pie. The chicken salad was tasty. It had chopped almonds and even seedless grapes for sweetness. I wish I had found them soon but I know the next time. The place is pretty big with a good number of booths and tables to eat in.

This is a little poster about the meats they choose - they go out of their way to have high quality proteins.

Wow! What a great spot!! The food is delicious , and there are so many fantastic soup choices, including gluten free and vegan options!! The quality of the food is great too, and there are also tons of different drinks that are super fun, like boba, Thai iced tea, mango, etc. The servers are all so kind and polite as well. It was a great experience!

It had been a few years since coming here and I was pleasantly surprised! This place is really doing a lot of things right. They are located on the east end of a very small strip center and are set up for a drive through, which is great in bad weather or if you're just trying to be quick. They have doubled the inside space since expanding into a previous donut shop next door. This would be a great place for a group meetup, lots of space. They have booth and table seating and a combo booth/chairs. Everything looks clean and well kept. The service was excellent. They want to make their customers happy, and I believe for the most part, it is family run. Quick and friendly when they bring the food out to your table. They have a large menu but it can be grouped into breakfast or lunch/dinner, with each having multiple variations of croissant sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. They have really great soups year round, and even though it is just about summer, there was a soup bowl on every single occupied table. You can ask for a soup sample if you can't decide. Don't even get me started on the beverage selections. See other people's photos for details. I had the Buffalo Chicken whole sandwich at $7.99, next time I will ask for extra buffalo sauce. Sorry, I forgot to snap a photo. I'm definitely going to be making this a frequent stop going forward. You should too.

Gouda grilled cheese with broccoli cheese soup

Perfect food for any time, but especially when the weather shifts to be a bit cooler. I really enjoyed the buffalo turkey grilled cheese. It's not too overwhelming with sauce but has enough to give a good flavor. My family loves the baked potato and the broccoli cheese soup. I nice change is pace restaurant. The staff is nice and helpful. They will let you taste test the soup. The restaurant is bigger than it looks and has plenty of seating.

My wife and I stopped by here for lunch today while our trailer was being serviced. The selection is incredible. I had the turkey and bacon wrap, along with a small cup of Buffalo chicken soup. It was delicious. It was fresh, the soup was hot and just great. The staff is really nice, and the prices were reasonable. I want to come back and bring more friends. Thank you for a great lunch.

Helpful, friendly staff. LOTS of gluten free choices. Delicious food! Hubby got the grilled ham and cheese and we highly recommend that! The Potato soup was fantastic. My gluten free ham and cheese was delish and HUGE! Top it off with a boba smoothie. I had the pina colada! Don't miss out on this place

    Mango Italian Soda

As someone who generally does not enjoy soups it is not an over exaggeration to say this was one of the best soups I've ever had, the bread bowl was fresh the potatoes were soft and flavorful, overall the loaded baked potato soup was phenomenal! I also ordered the Italian soda and their small is around the same size as a 24oz or larger, not to mention the flavor I let out an audible wow at how wonderful the taste was. If you ever want soup please go here the staff was amazing and the service was very quick, overall a wonderful experience 10/10 will be coming back.

Huge menu selection, with everchanging soups AND a new coffee bar coming soon. Not to be missed. . Pros - Nice menu variety. Sandwiches, Soups, Drinks, Treats, and soon the coffee bar. I ordered a full Rueben sandwich, and they give extra, EXTRA cheese, as you can see in my photo. Perfectly grilled and tasty. I was blown away by the chicken-curry soup. There is so much going on to tantalize the taste buds. I could have drank a gallon! They definitely consider creating a complex soup without skimping on any ingredients. . Cons - Depending on what your preference is, the cheese is either a great amount or overwhelmingly too much. I kind of felt the latter and would have preferred not to the surrounding crown of cheese on my sandwich. I'm sure that now that I know, I can request NOT to have that on future visits. I got hyped up for the upcoming coffee bar and felt disappointed that it wasn't open yet, but now I have an additional reason to return in the near future. . This is a great choice when you are craving comfort food, made fresh, and they don't skimp on flavor!

This place is phenomenal and seriously one of the best breakfast places in all of Idaho. I hesitate to say that because there can definitely be a wait because of its popularity, but facts are facts. My wife and I went to Moe Joe's for breakfast recently and man was it good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was stunned at the amount of food. Where to start. The steak was incredibly tender and enormous. The homemade biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was meaty and flavorful. And the crispy hashbrowns seemed to cover half the plate. Then there are the house-made jellies. Who does that and how can I get more! The service was prompt and friendly with a great wait staff that made everything easy. The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.

The eggs were actually poached perfectly. Seriously, my mouth is watering just reflecting on the food. The toasted single ciabatta is something that I liked versus a couple English muffins. The smoked ham a tad salty but paired with the hollandaise very well. Ripe tomatoes. The greens for a side was my choice versus potatoes. I'll have to try the potatoes next time because this day was going to be hot and smokey, so I needed to keep it light. I drink coffee black, and the coffee was really good. On the service, as some have complained about, I can't really speak to that. I went in before work, so I was there at 7. By the time I left at 7:45, two more tables came in and one had already left. 9 or 10am on a Sunday is probably different. So the service was good for me. The decor was an updated nautical theme that I seen before. A few decades ago, I went to a First Watch in a land far away. When it was brought to the Boise area, I thought it would be interesting to have that seasonal approach option compared to fixed menu Cisco approach. And if you're good with a standard pancake, maple flavored syrup, a couple slices of bacon, and two plain scrambled eggs - do that. If you like something interesting, First Watch.

The million dollar bacon as they call it is nothing to brag about either. So let's get into it a bit more. My meal was Avocado Toast that was decent but not great. When ordering Avocado toast I don't expect my avocado to be mashed and put on with a scoop of it, most places I get it have it sliced and looking presentable and the poached eggs on top as part of the presentation as well not slopped in a cup on the side. It would have also been nice if they had everything bagel seasoning for the dish as well and could offer to customers. The fall breakfast sandwich my friend ordered was awful and way over flavored with the maple. We ended up getting that replaced it was that bad. I would also like to add that the potato's are not that great either. Tasted like they were undercooked and had a crunch to the cent of them not a crispy exterior. When it came to the service it was good and she was really nice and accommodating to the over the top friend that was there enjoying brunch with me. She handled him like a pro. The manager was really nice and wanted to please us because of the food that wasn't great. The restaurant has a nice feel and the service team does its best to create an environment and ambiance that is enjoyable for the customers.

We made a reservation, so we were seated pretty quickly. The folks were so nice, the ambiance was pretty chill, having dairy queen as a general date spot this was a wonderful treat for us both. We ordered an appetizer of cheese bread. I thought it was pretty good quality, a little high price, bur I expected that because it's a higher end restaurant. Our entree's took a bit of time, but it was to be expected the place wasn't empty. I think we waited somewhere between 15 to 30 minutes after we finished our bread. But when they came, it was worth the wait. I ordered a 14 oz new york strip. My family raises their own beef, so steak is nothing new to us. It was so good, I took a piece home to share with my family, and everyone agreed, it was fantastic. My girl had the rotisserie chicken, falling off the bone delicious, Colonel Sanders needs to step up his game. Another thing I can say, I find usually in high end restaurants I find myself still hungry afterwords, not here, I was completely satisfied with my meal. We ordered dessert, it was the vanilla bean something or other, don't eat fancy so I don't quite know these things. Here comes my only complaint, the sugar coating tasted a bit like burnt coffee, but was still delicious and we ate the whole thing. Before she brought it out, our server asked about the occasion. She took a picture of us with our dessert, which had writing in strawberry sauce, "happy anniversary". Like I said, we don't eat fancy often, especially because we feel unwelcome in many places with as young as we are (18 and 19), but this place made both me and my girl feel special, thank you land and ocean. I ordered a bunless double cheeseburger with jalapenos and grilled onions. Of course I got a side of fries and a vanilla shake to go with my husband's sammy. You gotta have fries with a burger! Since I recently got my new kidney, I have to be really careful with utensils, condiments and lids that are communal. I have to be so careful with germs that could possibly be on these common items. I told the sweet gal behind the counter about my new kidney. The gal was sweet and let me grab what I needed out of the boxes behind the counter that no one had access to. I appreciate that she was understanding and kind about my safety. Didn't question it one bit! I got my utensils, ketchup packets and napkins. My burger was so tasty!
