I haven't been to a Mazzios in quite a while as one isn't near me. Met some family members here on a Monday night for dinner. Greeted, seated & drinks serve quickly. We all picked the buffet. Salad bar had numerous choices except tomatoes . There were a few pizza choices when we first came back for pizza but in no time many fresh pizzas came out. Great variety for everyone! My favorite was the spinach Alfredo . Hawaiian, veggie, Supreme....many choices. Oh and hot herbed cheesy bread! Save room for dessert! My two favs were the choc chip pizza (think soft chocolatey cookies) & the streusel cinnamon bread. Overall a good dinner and dessert! I miss buffets! read more

Good prices for groups. I liked their various specials. Everything was reasonably priced. For our group of nine we had a combo with a large pepperoni pizza, a huge round group calzone, ten wings (half buffalo, half thai sweet chili) and cheese bread with marinara dip. We added a second pizza with six meats but it was overkill. Tasty but yeah huge leftovers. They have cheap kids meals. Chloe had a kids cheese pizza and Caden had some bbq chicken boneless wings with fries. It worked. They got us a huge table in their back room. We had plenty of room and good service. They thought they were a bit slow though as far as the cooking time so they threw in a dessert cookie for the table. A bit sweet for my taste but others seemed to enjoy it. The pizza and staff are all great. The reason I give this two stars is because of the sheer lack of volume of pizza they provide. The seating is a large space and a good number of people are able to come in and sit down but you definitely find yourself fighting for a slice. read more

I haven't eat'n at a Mazzio's in years. We were helping my parents move, and saw Mazzio's and decided to stop in. They were extremely busy, having a party of eight I did not expect to get a seat for awhile. We were promptly seated much to my surprise. We ordered the buffet for everyone, they kept the food coming and was hot and fresh. No complaints at all. Patience is wonderful! We enjoy the Salad Bar and Pizza Bar! Only downside, we sometimes go in when one of our favorite waitresses isn't working. Tonight for example: we ordered some wings, not very warm. Salad bar low on some items, asked about it, "It'll get stocked eventually." Manager didn't even come on floor to speak to us. It's a little down-market when you walk in; we were taken aback by the very light crowd at first. But, we powered through. Our server was great - these are high school kids - very attentive and warm. Salad is pretty basic but clean and well kept. This is clearly a no frills Italian place - very fast-casual ambiance - but very doable for kids and family. We ordered the triple pepperoni pizza (decent to good-enough...you have to know what your getting here) and mozzarella sticks (decent to good, if you like these). Bonus: They have flat screens - I was able to easily catch a ball game at a glance. I'll start with the bad cause I like to end on a good note. Came in here ready to try a new place because i had ever eaten here before but had to wait 40 minutes for food to get to our table. All of the food came out at different times and the last person at my table who got their food had a good 10 minutes where everyone else had food but them. Waiter seemed like he wanted to die. Great place for buffet. Every day from 11 to 130. Sunday's 1130 to 2. Evening buffet is Monday kids night kids 4 to 10 eat free with paid adult, Tuesday is senior night and Fridays. Salad bar is the best in town. They also have wings that are great. Calzones are my favorite. And they make a great Greek, taco and Hawaiian!!! Kid friendly and huge groups are accommodated nicely! I enjoy Mazzio's, it's not my favorite pizza in the world but it is tasty for an affordable lighter meal out (the veggie pizza on thin crust loaded with fresh & tasty veggies). Someone else mentioned "cold décor for Neosho" and I'm not sure what that means? To me, it was nice and contemporary instead of country and cluttered and that was viewed as a major plus. We came here expecting it to be smaller and less up to date than stand alone Mazzio's but it was quite the opposite. Seemed new and clean to us. Quick service and we appreciated our server's attention as we ordered from the menu on a busy Saturday during buffet hours. In that situation it's common to feel forgotten by the server or like you're an annoyance for placing a menu order, that wasn't the case here. Mazzio's is a great chain and serves great pizza, except in Neosho. I walked in and ordered a small Works pizza for carryout and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. The place was busy with a buffet service going on. 40 minutes later a girl brings out my pizza and apologizes for the wait. It's ok, I said, you're busy tonight. I get to my destination (5 minutes) and discover the pizza is barely warm. This means it wasn't because they were busy, it was because somebody sat on their ass and didn't bring out my pizza after it was done in 15-20 minutes. I can't say anything about the decor/waitstaff, as I ordered this pizza for delivery while staying overnight in Neosho. I ordered a small pizza and a side salad with Light Italian. The gal on the phone was pleasant enough, and said it would be 25-30 minutes. An hour and 10 minutes later, the food arrives. The sullen delivery boy gave me my receipt and disappeared. The pizza was SOAKED in grease, and was room temperature. The side salad? No Light Italian dressing to be found. I don't know if the delivery guy forgot to give me the little cup, or if they just didn't pack it. But dry salad? Ugh. As for actual taste of the pizza, it was....OK. Not memorable by any means. Next time I'm in Neosho, I'll go elsewhere. read more

I ordered 2 large pizza's with 2 coupons for mediums for $.99. I ended up paying $34.33 for 2 large pizza's. WOW!!! I bought the pies because we were having 5 friends over. There were 4 pizza's and when they left we had 2 1/2 pizza's left. Not very good. Pizza Hut had better deals, and better pizza. Won't be back price to high and below avg taste. read more
