The first time I came here was a special moment for me to celebrate. The owner is very kind and took time to explain any questions we had. It's clean and has a hole in the wall restaurant feel to it. The food is actually the best Chinese food I've had in Vegas. In the handful of times we've been, we've tried the chicken chop suey, beef & broccoli, house chow mein, pepper steak, fried rice, egg rolls, chicken wings, and egg flower soup. We have liked everything we've ever tried from here! The food comes out FAST too. Oh yeah, and the prices are great. I almost forgot, our first time here, a car crashed into the front of the building while we were eating! The owner handled everything super professionally and made sure we were all okay. Most Chinese takeout places are pretty similar but this one stood out for it's fast, efficient service, reasonable price, and good tasting food. We were at the Pirate Festival at Craig Ranch and did not want any of that overpriced abominations. And at the end of a windy, long, sunburnt day outside, you just want to eat something hot indoors without holding onto a paper plate and a napkin next to a pile of dirt. MB China made all of these dreams come true. We feasted on some beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken. The beef and broccoli was so good. The kung pao chicken was too spicy but still good. If I am not mistaken North Las Vegas has the distinction of having the only drive-in restaurant and drive-thru Chinese restaurant* in Southern Nevada. Both these places are in the Lake Mead Boulevard corridor. It was on my drive back from North Las Vegas to Henderson that I got too comfortable in the Lake Mead at McDaniel Starbuck's. After a couple of hours in Starbuck's, I decided to try MB China which is across Lake Mead Boulevard in the North Las Vegas Discount Mall. One of my goals is to try all the Chinese restaurants in the Las Vegas valley outside the tourist zone. It was time to try this veteran North Las Vegas Chinese restaurant. According to the canon of Yelp reviews, I was to expect a hole in the wall restaurant that has been here for years that charged inexpensive prices. My expectation was to expect a decent meal that would not knock my socks off. As part of the conurbation of strip malls and parking lots that line Lake Mead Boulevard, there was a surplus of parking spaces. And there was the drive thru. Ironically I would be arriving on foot from the Starbuck's across the highway. It is obvious to me that many years ago this was a fast food chain restaurant. I could be wrong. But how many Chinese restaurants have a fast food counter and drive thru? If I am wrong, one thing that is certain is my first-hand experience. This hole in the wall Chinese restaurant is spacious. On the late Monday morning when I dined in there were a plentitude of available tables. And there was the all day $5.25 special menu. Unlike the typical Chinese restaurant lunch special that typically ends at 4 pm, MB China features twelve choices of an all day special. Missing from the specials is a shrimp-based entree. My default lunch special choice shrimp chop suey was missing in action. So, I ordered the $5.25 pepper steak. It included two scoops of fried rice. The typical dine in lunch special egg drop soup was likewise missing in action. For an additional $1.50, I added a large fountain Coca-Cola. After a few minutes ordering at the counter, my food was ready. I walked to the counter and carried the styrofoam plate of food to the table. As expected, the pepper steak special was decent. The reality is that this was a one time deal. Without knocking MB China, I would rather spend a couple more dollars to dine in a Chinese restaurant that offers a larger selection of lunch specials including shrimp-based with larger portions, more flavorful food, and in many instances soup. .................... Been looking for Chicago style Chinese food in the Las Vegas area and could not find it ever since my beloved Great Wall restaurant on Charleston and Rancho was closed. None of these restaurants are good out here. They just want your money and the service is lazy because most of the restaurants out here don't wanna work but wanna get paid. Wallet Friendly I was craving "authentic" fried rice on my way home this evening and remembered this place my mother would frequent (and force us to eat) way back in the day! As a child i grew up in the city or north Las Vegas and one of the things I remember doing was eating at MB CHINA. Years an years went by And I stopped by to have lunch an I was amazed after 25 years that have gone by an the food is still amazing. The service was still amazing the speed that my order was ready in was surprisingly still very fast. The business is an older building so there is some flaws but nonetheless very clean, very spacious inside so you don't feel to crammed inside which I like I love to have my space when I'm out eating it's cool inside the ac was blowing very strong being that it is summer time it's nice to be cool while out eating. They have a few Knick knack machines for the kids if you bring your little ones which was an has always been very thoughtful. The menu is somewhat simple but broad very large selection to choose from. From your chickens an beefs down to your poultry's. Everything is amazing. The prices are amazing which maybe another huge reason to still seam to come back after years an years. The teriyaki/ chicken plate with rice rice and a side of vegetables with a drink is only $4.50 cents , it is enough for 2 people you will never find a deal like in Vegas and on top of that they make they own chili oil. You can't beat it great flavor great prices great staff thought it's a restaurant you could say it's a "fast food restaurant " of the sort because you just feel Like your in and out. I've been coming here for like the last two years and even tho the customer service is great... The food is a huge disappointment we tried so hard to give them chance after chance and this last time was so disappointing. From the orange chicken to the Egg Foo Young, pepper steak it was zero meat in it just pepper and onions!!!! The Won tons were hard and it was no meat in them at all. I ordered rice chicken and shrimp I paid extra for shrimp because she said the shrimp were jumbo shrimp I kid you not the shrimp were so small it was like a slap in the face. I also ordered chicken and black bean sauce for my husband it gave him the poops. Not bad, but really just not that great. I mean, it wasn't horrible at all. It just was kinda underwhelming. The best thing in my opinion was their cream cheese wonton's (aka crab ragoon). They were a bit sweet, but not overly rich, like some places go nuts on. But the rest was just kinda okay. The white rice just tasted... I dunno, like it came out of a box. Like Uncle Ben's rice or something of the like. The Shrimp Lobster Sauce was a bit bland, like maybe just corn starch thrown into a weak broth. The Beef Broccoli gravy tasted like that brown gravy you get in those pre-made salisbury steak frozen meals. The chow mein tasted off. Couldn't place it, but, just didn't taste right. Like stale or something? And the fried riced didn't taste right. Not really bad, just... like too much oil or maybe not enough water? Just... didn't taste right. Then to top it off, they forgot our sesame chicken. And we ordered Wor Wonton Soup, but just got the other straight Wonton Soup instead. All in all, really not a great experience. Maybe just a fluke since there are a lot of great reviews. The gal at the window was super nice though. Just, again... a bummer cause it was $60 bucks of semi-okay food. read more

It can get busy during the weekends, however they never fail to deliver in 15 minutes or less. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a great spot for good food. Decent little Chinese takeout spot I found not far from the job. I went with a Singapore noodles which came with a nice amount of Curry seasoning on them and the barbecue pork on the noodles was actually pretty good. There was some cube chicken on the dish though that had a strange texture which kind of threw me off a bit other than that it was a great dish. The night before we tried Ocha Cuisine, and I thought that it was overpriced for food that did not deliver. First of all,BOMB COMBINATION RICE!!
