Amazing Thai is a Thai Restaurant located in North Las Vegas By the Albertson's. This restaurant offers also offers Vegan Thai Dishes. We originally tried this restaurant because my neighbor who used to live in Thailand half the year recommended this restaurant to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a fancy place but is cozy with lots on booths to sit in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have music videos playing on the big TVs on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dishes are ordered in heat levels from 1-10. After a few visits I find inconsistency with some of the dishes so dining here can be a bit hit and miss but overall at least ok. We both really loved the eggplant chip appetizer. We recently had it again and it appeared different but I'm happy to say the chips were still very tasty and good. However instead of a savory and spicy sauce they served it with sweet duck sauce this time that we didn't care for. This time I tried the caramel salmon. Most of the pieces of salmon were ok. It was good when you added the flavorful spicy sauce of the side. The salmon was served over lettuce that wilts from the hot fish and comes with a double sized portion of rice. Maybe they just slipped with the soy sauce in the Spicy Basil Dish my husband had. And possibly ran out of basil because his dish had a good spice level but didn't taste like basil at all. This dish mainly had a soy sauce taste and was very salty. Service was attentive and friendly. Plates were cleared quickly. 3 Stars translates to A-OK or average - hit and miss read more

I recently discovered Amazing Thai, and I can't stop thinking about it! Every menu item I've had has been incredible. Between curries, stir fries, and salads, I have enjoyed everything. Papaya Salad is delicious, crispy pork, Palam Peanut Sauce with pork, Catfish Red Curry, Yum Woon Sen... all so good. And don't get me started on the crab rangoons; they're easily the best I've had. Plus the mango sticky rice is somehow always so fresh! GENEROUS portions with every plate. It is cheaper to order via phone for pickup than with UberEats. The lovely ladies of Amazing Thai were kind enough to let me know that when I ordered via Uber. The food here is very delicious. The price is the same everywhere but I wish they would give more portions with the comparison to the price it cost. I have been here a few times in the past and the food seemed ok , slightly above average. On my last visit I ordered the Spicy Basil stir fry with beef. It had very little flavor other than the overwhelming flavor of soy sauce. It had no other flavors or even much basil flavor. I would not recommend this dish. I did order it as a 7 on the heat scale and that was about right. I will say that the server who greeted us and took care of us was extremely friendly and pleasant. read more

Their Khao Soi is some of the best....the curry broth is rich and flavorful but not too thick or coconuty. The beef was a little chewy but everything else about this dish was so spot on I'm happy to give it some extra effort. The green papaya salad was really nice. Ask for extra peanuts! And the drunken noodles had so much meat I couldn't believe it. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were very generous. The wait staff was very kind and attentive. Not fancy but it didn't need to be. My husband comes here regularly for lunch and I'm jealous I don't worked closer so I could join him! read more

Theres not much Thai restaurants in the north so Im glad we found this place! We usually order the pad thai, beef broccoli and panang curry - all taste amazing! The food is great and the staff are friendly. Located at the end of the strip mall facing Simmons St. I called in my order and the lady on the other end was super nice. I didn't feel rushed and she read back my order. I ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp (level 6 spice) & Crab Fried Rice. Both were ready in 20 minutes. I paid once I arrived and took the order home. It only took me 12 minutes to get back and both dishes were still at room temperature. The ingredients in both plates were fresh and the spices gave it a flavorful after taste. My kids are very picky eaters, but they truly enjoyed their dinner. Although I did not dine-in, the ambiance of the restaurant was spot on. There wasn't a loud music playing and the dining area was clean. I've dined at this restaurant before and you can tell the management takes pride in keeping their establishment clean. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. read more

This place is thee hidden gem in our 89031 zip code ! Don't let me non aesthetic picture fool you this soup is my favorite thing on the menu. We found this spot in 2019 or 2020 I believe and automatically fell in love with so many items on the menu. We moved away briefly and when we came back we were afraid maybe the quality or chef had changed but nope it's amazing! I don't give 5 stars often but seriously the food + customer service is really great. When you walk in you're always welcome to seat yourself, the portions are generous & the price is very reasonable for everything you get. Ordered through door dash and the food wasn't good. The fried rice was doused in so much soy sauce that it looked like dirty rice and the orange chicken looked gross. I only took a few bites of the spicy basil beef I ordered. Definitely won't be ordering from this place again. read more

Really disappointed in the orange chicken. You can see that these are all tiny pieces of chicken and the amount is under whelming. The dinner plate and half of the breading fell off and the chicken is almost inedible because of it burning. Paying $20 for this is absolutely insane. I expected way better. read more

We went and sat in the restaurant for the lunch special, which is available Monday through Friday until 3 o'clock. The service is a little slow yet everyone was friendly. Is there any entree that is gluten free here? (check soy sauce, fish sauce, seasoned rice vinegar for wheat, barley, rye & triticale. Rice noodles not cooked in water used for wheat noodles.) I have Celiac disease & must eat gluten free.

When I ordered online for delivery, it did not ask me for a spice level. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes i think i had that issue 2 times and also when you pickup, ALWAYS check you order , they gave me wrong items 2 times as well. Seems like sometimes whoever answers the phone cant really understand English

Open from 11am - 3:30pm (close for 1 hour so employees can take lunch) re-open at 4:30pm until 9pm Sundays they are open from 12:00pm - 3:30pm (close for employee lunch) re-open at 4:30pm until 9pm. They do take phone orders. They can get pretty busy, so just keep that in mind. I promise the food is worth the wait! Walking in you automatically can tell this place has its own charm. From the decor, to the lighting, to the live music. It's a small, welcoming restaurant with about 12 tables. The employees are very sweet, attentive, and make great recommendations! I usually call in to order a yellow chicken curry to-go, it comes with a small side of rice. The portion of the curry is enough for two separate meals for me. My points were nowhere to be found, but I went ahead and completed the order anyway. When I arrived at the restaurant, I explained the situation to the young lady working there. I was essentially told that they had changed their ordering system, my previous rewards were no longer available, and I was out of luck. She apologized for the inconvenience, but losing rewards that customers earned through years of purchases because the restaurant changed systems is extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, things got worse when I got home. I ordered a combo meal, and it was incorrect--I paid for five chicken tenders and only received four. The wings also seemed to have noticeably less sauce than I remember, and the garlic Parmesan noodles tasted old and were honestly horrible. I'm not sure what has changed recently, but it has definitely been for the worse. Between losing accumulated rewards, an incorrect combo order, smaller portions/less sauce, and disappointing food quality, this was nowhere near the experience we used to have here. There are several great restaurants nearby competing for customers, and experiences like this make it very easy to take our business elsewhere.

I'm used to seeing wonton soup in clear broth, so I was surprised to see the broth brown. Maybe they put some soy sauce in it? Whatever the color, it still tasted like wonton soup. It could've been better without extra vegetables like broccoli. Overall still a good spot for Filipino and Chinese food, but I recommend dining in.

On Hummus Club's own menu they say that the pani puri are suppose to be filled with potatoes, chick peas and onions. Ours weren't filled with that and instead had cabbage, corn, tomatoes, lettuce, and tamarind sauce. The water on the side to fill them was much thinner and less herbed than I ever had anywhere else. The biggest fault might have been my husband's build your own bowl. All the food was barely warm and bordered on being cold. I don't know if the equipment is not functioning correctly or possibly they set up in a hurry and just didn't heat up the food? Either way this is a problem. I tried the chicken tikka masala bowl. It was suppose to be served with yellow rice but they gave me white rice. This bowl was made fresh and wasn't the best but was a lot better than my husband's bowl. They also only had one person working. She made the appetizer after our bowls. If they couldn't put something in a dish that should be in a dish (pani puri missing potatoes and chic peas ) I would understand if someone cared to take the time to say something to me.

This place gives its name justice. It's pretty amazing. I love Thai food, and having had the pleasure of eating true authentic Thai food at my friends houses, I've gotten spoiled and really picky about where I eat Thai. Living on this side of town I would always have to travel at least 30min to satisfy my Thai cravings. The other two Thai restaurant in this neighborhood are less than desirable. I'm super excited that North Las Vegas is finally on the map when it come to some really good Thai food. The service and staff are pretty amazing as well. We had friends in town from California who had allergy restrictions, and everyone went above and beyond to accommodate the allergy. This is most definitely going to be my new go-to when I'm not in the mood to cook! This is a MUST try! You won't regret it! Food we ate: Thai beef salad- best I have had in a while!!! Drunken noodle- still my favorite! Some places make it really greasy, but this was really good I didn't want to stop eating it. Veg stir fry with chicken- I never usually order chicken, I've been disappointed too many times by under seasoning or dry chicken, but this was just right. Pad Thai- all I can say is yum! My hubby & I attended the soft opening of this family-owned Thai restaurant tonight. If this was a test run, we can only imagine how great it will be after their grand opening! We were greeted by May, the wife of Chef Palord. The dining room is lovely, hand painted gold on a tan background. Subtle and warm. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with Chicken, Spicy Eggplant with Beef and Orange Chicken, all with level 2 spiciness (cause I'm a wimp!). The soup had lots of white meat chicken and lots of mushrooms in a delicious, creamy broth. The eggplant with beef was served with a big bowl of white rice. I usually don't enjoy cooked green peppers, but in this dish they were super. The orange chicken was sprinkled with sesame seeds & served with fresh orange slices. Their drunken noodles are absolutely incredible; they're seriously to die for. Alongside, we're big fans of their spicy basil fried rice, and the Singapore noodles are also quite tasty. We've dabbled in their beef jerky as well, and it didn't disappoint either. However, when it comes to appetizers, we find them a bit overpriced for the portion size, so we usually skip them. We made an exception once for the curry fries, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The fries were disappointingly soggy, possibly due to the takeaway, but what really bummed us out was the lack of curry seasoning; it felt like a waste of money. Despite this hiccup, we'll definitely be back for their noodles and fried rice--they're just too good to resist. read more

Finally, a neighborhood Thai place this good. Criteria are reasonable price, clean, good service, good presentation and above all, good food and good selection. We had papaya salad, spicy eggplant, pad see and their basil egg cups. All were excellent, there was attention to plating and presentation, and the price was very reasonable. This is our go-to Thai place for North of Vegas. Recommend highly. It is NOT, however, a dirt-cheap budget place for students nor a high end dining place. It's the ideal family and locals/regular Thai place. Wish there had been one this good in Chicago all these years. read more

I am a business owner so it's hard for me to give a not great review. People are really nice here so that's a plus. My sons FAVORITE DISH is orange chicken. He didn't finish it tonight, their food is so bland. Way way too sweet I don't know it was not good at all. Worst orange chicken ever. I got pad Thai medium and it's spicy and just plain. An hour passed so I decided to call and check the status, the girl said they didn't have my order and that it was out for deliver, I said great and I'll patiently wait till 30 minutes passed and thought Never again will I order deliver service from this place if they think it's ok that I waited 1 1/2. Their food is really good but they have a serious staffing issue. I went in at 6:45pm on a Thursday night wanting to dine in. I stood in their lobby for 20 minutes and no one came to greet, take my name, or say a wait time. Two more parties arrived and were waiting behind me. The total time I was there I saw 2 people working and there were no open tables. Today we dined in since we wanted soup and thst is not usually included in a take out lunch special. Their egg drop soup is pretty good. My dining partner ordered beef and broccoli with lomein (you get two sides) and an egg roll(the skinny kind not the large traditional East coast kind, heavy on the cabbage). I ordered sweet and sour pork, (upcharge since not on the lunch special with fried rice and the ever popular crab Rangoon , which INMHO is as Chinese as a pepperoni pizza. I mean Rangoon is a city in Burma (well Myanmar ). lol. Anyway, the kids, (well young adults) were back home for the summer and took my order. Service was fast. My dining partner said her beef was tender, lomein was not cooked into oblivion and her broccoli was tasty. My pork was breaded just right, I forgot to ask for my sweet and sour sauce on the side and my fried rice was typical with little chunks of carrots and shrunken peas. But tasty.
