After researching several local transportation companies, I chose MB Executive Transportation to take my daughter and I to LAX last year for our trip. Failed to pick me up on a confirmed appointment at LAX. HORRIBLE. He finally left a message on Thursday, 48 hours after he missed my pick up. Said he suffered a serious medical problem on Sunday, starting the reason he left me stranded and not able to get back to me. OK, so now I'm spoiled! REALLY spoiled! After doing a LOT of research of different companies on the internet, we called MB Executive for our wedding. Not only were they on time, but they were EARLY and waiting for us to exit the house to be taken to our wedding destination. Mark ROCKS with his personality (we're fun people). Once delivered to our first destination, we had our ceremony and then we all were transported (we needed two vehicles) to our second location for dinner. As we came out of the first venue, there was Mark with just as big of a smile on his face as when we first left him. Extremely professional, on time and pleasant! Three days later, we left for Africa and decided to contact MB Exec again to take us to the airport. Again, they arrived early, packed our luggage in the car and away we went. No stops, no worries about being late. Pick-up after our safari was the same. I'll have to admit, I was a little concerned and expressed this to Mark as we weren't carrying ANY electronic devices with us (that would include a cell phone). We gave him our itinerary and he said he would know if the flight had any changes (it was delayed by over an hour). Found Mark on Yelp. He was on time and professionally dressed. Very responsive to change. Flying back at Christmas time added delays to the equation. So we used Mark to drive us to our Cruise ship. We sailed out of world cruise center San Pedro and told him so but he drove us to the Carnival in Long Beach. When we returned from the cruise we called Mark to pick us up and again he went to Long Beach not to San Pedro and we waited for over an hour for him to pick us up. When he did arrive, there was no room for our luggage in the trunk of the Limo so he no we put our luggage in the passenger section of the limo with us. When we arrived home, we unloaded our luggage and this is the really good part: he overcharged us hundred dollars from what he quoted; I payed it just to get rid of him. Mark will be the only one I call if I ever need a lift in LA again! I called him at 6pm Sunday to get quotes for a Monday morning pick up from the airport, dropping off at the Long Beach cruise terminal. He was hanging out at the Emmys, so was able to chat, and quoted me the most reasonable price I'd heard so far. When I asked if he had carseats, he said he didn't, but was interested in knowing more - since a few folks would use him for airport drop offs and he'd keep the seats until they returned. I mentioned to him that Cali law states that kids under 9 years old MUST be in restraints. He told me he'd be willing to pick up what I needed for my two kids as an investment in his business! I hopped on Walmart's website, found a 24 hr one, and then texted him the pictures of the seats I thought would be the most flexible for his business, as well as meeting my family's needs. He bought them and picked us up at the airport at 9am with them in the back of the SUV! :D Nothing quite like installing an unfamiliar carseat at LAX to wake a body up, but I'd told him to let us install them if he wasn't comfortable doing so since we've installed seats a few times before. I was so incredibly floored by his willingness to go above and beyond! Not to mention, he's just a cool cat to talk with! He was incredibly kind to my daughters, and had the seats installed properly for the return trip. His prices were EXTREMELY reasonable - $50 more than a shared van from the airport. Can I go out to LA again just to use his services, please?? read more

After tapping into my rather vast network, no one could recommend a car service for Long Beach to LAX so I did something I never do, selected someone from Yelp and I am so glad I did. This is 5-star service from the time you make your reservation to the time he drops you off on your return flight. We booked Mark to take us from Long Beach to LAX for a trip to New Orleans. He arrived 10 minutes early to pick us up, got us to LAX faster than anyone I know and was there to meet us at baggage claim upon our return. Mark is personable, funny and wickedly smart. Called twice for a quote first time I called the girl on the phone was nice, when I asked what was the normal time for a rep to respond she mentioned it would be pretty quick and 2nd time I called I let the woman who answered know I hadn't been called back the first time and she very directly was like "well everyone is busy now". So she just took my info down again and I mentioned that my call was going to be my last effort to try and get a quote. She didn't seem to care much if my business was lost, so why spend my money here? Bummer, I was actually going to need limo service for a few events in the following months and the driver reviews were great...too bad sales and whom ever answered the phone were too busy. My wife and I recently hired MB to take us to LAX on a recent trip to Portland. Typically, we use Super Shuttle or pay to park our car. This time we decided to try a car service for the first time. I contacted Mark who I had met at District Wine and he was awesome. He was on time, professioanl and very entertaining. Typically, I want the driver to shut up and drive, but not in the case of Mark. His story's about his dog Harley were hillarious and started our vacation on a high. We also appreiated the fact that he even took the job. He had driven a client to and from Palm Springs and got in late that morning, but still picked us up at 4:00am SHARP. Car ready with the heater on and bottled water. On our return, he sent us a confirmation text, which was reassuring knowing that he would be there. As soon as we came through the gate there he was with a big smile, grabbed our bags and we were on our way. On top of all that, his price was cheap in comparison the outstanding level of service.
