We all should support small local businesses, they are the most under utilized specially by local…read morehome owner. Always Comfy (Tom McNally), the name says it all they always make sure your home HVAC System is up and running, this a local service provider that really is there to help you with any HVAC issues. He came in when he said he will (on time) and will see what's the issue, explain what's the best solution for the issue and will not charge you arm and a leg for fixing it. He fixed the issue and then I asked him if we do a yearly service contract that will help us make sure that everything is running smoothly and also maintained properly. Then after he left our heating system worked fine for 2 days, he had already informed us that if this goes back we'll have to change a part that he had previously cleaned to make things work. After two days heating went back to working on and off, so I called Always Comfy and Tom said he will be there at the end of the days as we come home after work to fix it. It's was to our surprise he came to fix it just before he had to join his family for a dinner on his birthday. That's going above and beyond to make sure we had our home Always Comfy and we would recommend them over any big name in the area. Although everyone is in business to make profits, but Tom understands that he is not in business to make one time profit or long term business relationships which will grow s your referral will help him to make profits larger than spending money on advertising for months. Just a little synopsis before we had met Always Comfy (Tom McNally) what all we went through. It's been a while we had been looking for someone who can give us a second opinion for our house HVAC and we have been with AJP for 6 years and now they had been suggesting that our furnace is not performing at optimum we should go for High-Efficiency systems that will help us with our home heating & cooling and reduce our electric & gas bill. We called few guys and they all wanted money before suggesting anything to even come in, one guy comes in and tell that there is some wiring issues with our system and that can be fixed for a material cost of $250-300 and when I asked him what's the issue he said you need to pay me $99 for coming to my place and $100 for consultation before he can utter a word. I said since it's too cold and my heating system was acting up so I said "we would certainly like this to be fixed, please explain what the issue is". He said let me make some calls and he went out came back and closed the system and walked out without anything done what so ever.

Business owner questioned my need for him to wear a mask, and asked whether his employees would need to wear one as well. After confirming this, he left before stepping foot in my home.

Recently had an issue with my furnace, which had started making a sound like a train coming in…read more Called Princeton Air, who had a technician (Aaron, who also looked at my cooling system when I moved in) come out in 1 day. He let me know the issue was my inducer, and he lubed it up and gave me a quote for a new inducer. He said the inducer could last through the season, or it might break soon. He also told me to add some WD-40 (which he didn't have handy) and that it might help prevent an issue. Week and a half later, the inducer broke and I had no heat. Erin in the office helped coordinate sourcing the replacement, which was delivered in less than 24 hours, and Aaron and Francis (another technician) were on-site by 8 a.m. the next morning to make the replacement and confirm operation. Its tough to beat that level of response, it was Amazon-like. Just wanted to give a shout to Aaron, Francis and Erin, all who provided exceptional customer service through out this issue. They also helped me sign-up for the yearly service plan with Princeton Air, which I originally thought was a bit expensive, but gave me 15% off the inducer and the original visit from before I had signed-up.

I recently purchased a new Carrier HVAC system for my house from Princeton Air. Unfortunately, I am…read moreextremely dissatisfied with the installation after spending $26,000 for a new system. The first system they installed was the wrong size. I had to wait almost a week before they reinstalled the correct size system. Much to my dismay, the second system isn't working either. I called into customer service and asked to speak with a manager, I was told there was no manager to speak with. The customer service representative said another repairman would be out this evening. Waiting on that repairman now in my very cold house. I am now a completely dissatisfied long term customer that regrets going with Princeton Air. I will update this post when/if they correct the problem AND I have had an opportunity to speak with a manager. Update 12/15 - Happy to say PA has my new HVAC system working now. I spoke with a manager this morning and he went out of his way to make things right. Update 1/16 - two repairman were out twice yesterday. The first one said it was the thermostat was faulty. That was the third thermostat they put in. Heat was working when he left only to quit working a few hours later. Another repairman came out later in the evening and said the problem was the filter. Evidently it was too big for the system. So he changed the filter to a smaller size. It's working again, for now. Unfortunately, I have lost confidence with this company after having used them for years. Their quality seems to have gone out the window after recently having merged with Weltman Home Services. Think twice before you use Princeton Air!!! Update 1/31 We woke up this morning to a cold house. The thermostat said 65 degrees. When we turn up the thermostat the unit seems like is shutting down. Called customer service and they said someone would be out today. They couldn't give me a time or even a window as to when they will arrive. I am beyond fed up with Princeton Air. My next step is to get an attorney to see what I can do legally.
