Roman Klecha is the boss at Great Stone and he and his team just completed a quartz kitchen…read morecountertop project for us.  We are very pleased with the overall product quality, installation, and friendly and excellent customer service for our project.  Great Stone is basically a small but reliable family business that we learned of through a word of mouth referral, often the best kind of referral you can get.  Daughter Marta was our main contact through most of our shopping and selection process but kept close contact with da boss Roman.  She was very responsive in providing speedy quotes for a few quartz selections of interest from a couple of their numerous stone/quartz suppliers.  Upon request, because of some visual variation we thought we saw, she also helpfully arranged for us to see specific slabs of Calacutta Leon quartz from our final selected supplier MSI even though this isn't usually a necessary step with quartz.  We also bought our new stainless steel 16 gauge double bowl sink from Great Stone as they have good pricing for that accessory as well as a decent selection.  The pricing for their quartz product and installation was also very competitive.  Roman always kept me personally up to date via text messaging on project timings, and always kept his word.  He showed up promptly for final measurements and installation, and delivered with his team on the countertop installation date on day 12 after measurement, beating his projected 14 day window by a couple days.  Our installation team consisted of Roman, son-in-law Thomas, and family friend Matthew.  They are an experienced, competent, and professional team, and completed the installation with nary an issue.  Being a sorta blabber-mouth, I also enjoyed chatting with each and every one of them, and while not interfering with the job of course (I don't think), I got some interesting and enjoyable personal and job stories from each.  On installation day, the team also included a special appearance by friendly and engaging Marta and whilst the job was ongoing in view, she treated us (and vice versa) with some interesting and fun stories of her own.  At the end of it all, and most importantly, the final product was beeeautiful!  I highly recommend Great Stone for any stone project you may have in mind.  They are good people that provide a great final product at a great value and they honor their word.

They're curious, bright kids who love to learn, so I thought it would be fun to bring them to pick out crystals and ask about a mysterious rock that showed up in our yard--possibly a meteorite! When I looked at the website that morning and saw they had a music room, I was thrilled--I'm just beginning my own sound healing journey and have started collecting instruments like crystal singing bowls and Koshi chimes. What happened during our visit was something I couldn't have planned, and I'm still in awe of it. We were welcomed so warmly, and while we were browsing, my younger nephew found the music room and was greeted by the kindest soul--Chloe. She truly made our visit magical. Her kindness, passion, and care created a memory for us I will always treasure. The boys were fascinated by the instruments, and we all learned so much. I feel like the universe gifted us this moment--and it gave me a way to introduce my new passion to my family in such a natural and joyful way. We each left with meaningful stones, a deeper appreciation for the healing power of music, and a sense of connection that I hope continues to grow. Everyone we met was kind and helpful--but truly, the brightest gem in the whole shop was Chloe. Her energy, presence, and generosity of spirit turned our visit into something magical.
