The place is 100 years old. Looks like I had the same Owner for over 50 or 60 years and now…read moresomebody else runs it for the last six years or so we went there for the fish fry. There were only two cars in the entire parking lot the bartender prepared an entire Atlantic cod, deep-fried that was 14 inches long and at some .2 inches thick for $20. We love the tartar sauce and ate almost all the fish. We also ordered a hamburger which was a little bit too overdone, but came with a heaping pile of french fries. The downfall of this place is the inside. There's definitely some improvements that could be made to the ceiling, but how do you improve a building that's over 100 years old with eight layers of paint? The one or two guys at the bar couldn't hold a conversation for 10 seconds without cussing , putting down women and expletives telling stupid stories as 30-year-old single drunk people would surrounded by other adults but I took my 10-year-old in here to try the fish. I guess you can't control what other patrons do. There were some tables outside that we could've moved our food and trays too but thought we'd just take the 25 minutes and endure inside. Cudos again to the nice bartender/server.

The fish was fresh, and the batter was light and crispy - too much to eat for one person! YUM! Don't go here if you are in a hurry as the bar is small and there is limited staff. Some reviews say it is divey, to me it is just a neighborhood bar, friendly, chill staff, that serves a great fish fry. Get there early if you want to sit at a table as there are not that many, but you can also eat at the bar. We sat there for a few hours and it did not smell like septic and the beer did not come out all foam. So try this local neighborhood gem.

I was here for a private event and everything went well. This location offers numerous activities:…read morewhirly ball, laser tag, and bowling. There are multiple floors - each including a full bar. The food here was OK. Our group was provided a taco bar and cookies for dessert. The tortillas were not great, the texture was off. Everything was served buffet style which led to hot items being cold. Unfortunately the cookies were rock hard. Could break a tooth rock hard. Overall this is a great place for activities. It's nice that they offer food and drinks, but I wouldn't come here hungry.

We hosted a large kids laser tag party here and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience…read more Most of the laser tag vests were not functioning properly, and kids constantly had to come in and out of the game because their equipment stopped working mid-play. They really should not be hosting laser tag parties larger than 5 people with the current equipment situation. We were told they had 18 vests available, but only about 6-8 were actually working consistently at any given time. To their credit, they did extend the play time to try to accommodate the equipment issues. However, it didn't really solve the problem when so many kids still had long wait times and didn't get to participate fully. The staff member managing the event was defensive when concerns were raised and explained they were "in a transition stage" and expecting new equipment in July. She stated she was frustrated too, but we were the ones paying for a service/event that was not functioning as promised. I would not recommend this venue for a laser tag party until the equipment issues are fully resolved.

If looking for anything fancier, stay away and up the street to the hipper restaurants. Has basic beer on tap, and some crafts in bottles and cans. The prices are pretty good on these. A place that's called an Irish pub, but it's really just a regular old bar. It doesn't actually have that much Irish about it except the Guinness. They do have festivities around St. Patrick's Day though. Good beer. It's about $5 a pint. The bigger named corporate brands are on tap. May or may not have food. Seems like it depends on if they feel like making anything I guess. Of course, really not sure if you would want to even eat anything. The place isn't filthy but it's kind of scuzzy. Cheap prices are the best things about it. It's pretty boring in the afternoon, and gets livelier at night. They're open pretty late until 3 usually, so this is one of the few places that are still open late, so they get crowded the later it gets from people coming from other bars or wherever.
