This was the WORST experience I've had dealing with anyone in 25 years of owning my home. I called and spoke with Eddie. He sent someone named Jorge to fix my kitchen ceiling fan, replace a hallway dimmer switch and troubleshoot the light in my bathroom. Jorge quoted me $190 to fix the wiring on the ceiling fan. I felt $190 to check the wiring was excessive. I paid $150 to have it installed. When I asked him to check the other jobs he told me it would be $390. I told him $390 was too much to fix the wiring on a ceiling fan, replace a dimmer switch and check the light fixture in my bathroom. He then told me he didn't want to have anything more to do with the job. He said he was only sent to fix the ceiling fan. I showed him the text message I sent Eddie with pictures of the dimmer switch and bathroom light. He told me he wasn't aware of the other jobs and wasn't going to be my errand boy and go get the parts I needed. He told me if I wasn't happy I should take it up Eddie. I paid him $100 for the work he did to the ceiling fan and was extremely upset by the time he left. I wouldn't want anyone else to ever experience how dismissive Jorge treated me. Marvin was prompt. He saw my outlet he told me there was nothing he could do for me because it was beyond repair. He then took my $50 as a "consulting fee" and said he would send me an estimate to rewire my entire house. I called another electrician, who promptly FIXED the outlet that Marvin said was beyond repair. So, even though Marvin was prompt and nice, I felt cheated by him since he not only failed to fix my problem, but he also took my money and made me feel like I would need him for a bigger job in my home. I wish every business in LA had people that were as skilled, efficient and professional as the guys at MCe3. Because of two worn out breakers, all of my kitchen outlets were not working and my fridge/freezer was not getting power. It was Sunday (yesterday) and most local companies were closed, including MCe3, but the owner Marvin still responded to my message and within 24 hours I had an appointment!
