I had company do a new main panel on 6 unit apartment building in 2016. Big job they did a great job happy with it. I am writing this review now because I just saw these photos and still mad about it. Then in June 2019 I called to have them move an electrical outlet. They did not do to code. Ran Romex over studs not thru with metal plate. Put cardboard over the wire and mud over that, so sloppy some of the cardboard was sticking out. If it looked better I probably would have just sanded and painted. I called to complain and get refund. They offered to come back, but I did not want them back after what happened. I hired different company to redo. They did not give full refund but did refund about 1/3 of price. I still have invoice. read more

This is my second time using The Electric Connection's services. The first time they came out to install a NEMA plug for my Tesla which was quick and painless. They completed the installation quickly and without any trace of refuse. After five years, the NEMA plug started to have issues which isn't surprising since it's been in continuous use since installation. They recommended I move up to a wall mounted Tesla charger so I went with the universal version. They were in and out in less than an hour and my charger works perfectly! Their service technicians were incredibly polite, knowledgeable and the big bonus was that in the initial installation, they pulled all permits which put my HOA at ease. In an industry where you never know who you're getting unless you have a personal first hand referral and / or previous success I decided to roll the dice and try someone new. After reading the numerous 5 star reviews I called The Electric Connection and right away James tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone in an attempt to solve the circuit breaker problem and avoid a service call but since the issue was more complicated he sent his guy Chris who came within an hour, figured out the problem and repaired it immediately and for a very fair cost. I requested the company to install my Tesla Level 2 charger. The challenging part of the job is the Level 2 charger has to be installed diagonally across from the electric panel. They had to use the crawl space to route the line. Two gentlemen arrived on time on the day of installation.
