His communication is impeccable - answered my initial call on the second ring, drove over the hill to our home in the mountains by the end of that day to give us a quote, and was out the next day to replace our 40 year old garage door! He texted us updates on his timing and progress throughout the day, and unfortunately (mostly for him because of all the driving back and forth he had to do!) he had to come back to replace one of the panels the next day (to add windows) because of confusion with his supplier, but he got it done quickly. The brand new system he installed is working out great with the WiFi connectivity, camera, automatic lighting, and the whisper quiet door itself. I knew our garage door opener was failing, but I did not expect it to fail that abruptly, on a Sunday. I called the business and they actually arrived within a couple of hours with a new opener. They clearly explained why the opener failed and that spring and other elements needed tending to for it not to fail again. They were willing to fix those items on the spot as well, yet I knew I wanted to replace the door itself at some point, and they told me they can do that in a day! I took them up on the offer and they followed up with a quote and timeline. We moved into our new home and the garage door wasn't operable at all. MC provided a response to my quote request immediately on Yelp. They came same day to inspect and give an estimate. As expected we needed to either pay to fix or replace. Got a couple of options. MC was able to get the equipment same day and replace the entire door and system. Really happy with the outcome. We did have a bit of back and forth regarding the exact cost (ended up paying more than originally agreed on due to incorrect material cost) and availability (told had to be next day and then told had to be same day). I sent quote requests out immediately to the top three yelp reviewed companies, and Matt got back to me within 20 minutes (on a Sunday) and agreed to come out the next morning to fix everything. Called MC when the local company with the most five-star Yelp ratings didn't return my call. After we discussed my garage issue via phone, Matthew (the M in MC, his wife is the C) came out ready to replace/upgrade the garage door opener. On arrival with two of his sons, he immediately saw I didn't need a replacement, but that the opener was working too hard. He adjusted the sensitivity on the opener, replaced the old rollers with nylon ones, and had one of his sons spray a little lube on everything. Once the new rollers were in, he adjusted the springs. He could have told me I needed a fancy new opener, but he didn't, and I respect that. He takes cash and checks but doesn't take credit cards. read more

I called MC Garage Doors to fix a broken torsion spring on my garage door, and the owner Matt came out the next day to fix it. He had everything needed to make the repair, and also pointed out an issue with my door's rollers that was contributing to the problem. The spring was fixed, rollers were replaced, and Matt also greased the track and adjusted the opener. Door now operates better than it ever has (actually quieter), and we're really pleased with the work. Would definitely recommend / will use again. read more

Our garage door spring suddenly broke the other day which resulted in a bunch of other damage to the motor as well as one of the tracks, etc. We called Matt Sr. at MC Garage Doors, and he was able to come out within 2-3 hours. Matt looked at the whole setup, explained all of the issues and what would be needed to do the repairs. Matt mostly had everything in his truck to repair and replace everything, including the latest Liftmaster WiFi-enabled garage door opener (which he mounted directly to the rafters for a rock solid mount!). He also had to replace both springs & barrel assemblies, replace the opener bracket attached to the garage door, realign one of the tracks, and rebalanced the entire door. All of this only took him about 3.5 hours! Matt is very personable, polite and professional. Workmanship is top notch, and now we have a whole new system that runs very quietly that should last for 15-20 years. read more

My garage door spring broke, and the car was trapped in the garage. I called Matt at 6:20 PM, and he had Martin out to work on the door between 7:30 and 8:00 that evening! I was very impressed; I was expecting to wait days for somebody to come out. Martin was halfway done with the spring repair when Matt checked in and suggested new drums. The door was old and creaky so I decided to get a whole new door instead of spending any more on the old one. Martin came back the next morning, removed the old door, and installed the new one after Matt delivered it. The new door is super quiet, sealed all the way around (to keep out the grass blown around by the landscapers), and opens faster than the old door. I think the cost was pricey, but I did not do any competitive bidding, and I was very happy to have the job done so incredibly quickly. Matt also threw in a lot of upgrades and extras.
