Cabinet & Stone City

My cabinet doors are now falling off, and Cabinet and Stone City will not honor the warranty. I have contacted the store in Dallas, and they say they are no longer franchisees and do not have to make the repairs. I have called several times to the locations in Georgia and no one will return my calls. I did speak one time with a young lady named Monica, she promised she would have someone call me, and I have yet to receive a returned call. I have left her multiple messages as well., Bottom line is this company does not stand behind it's product and installation,. Be very careful when ordering from Cabinet and Stone City.

How unprofessional can one place be? WOW. Took over 3 weeks to reply to my email. Lost my info so I…read morehad to resend it. Then the designer (Kim) was unprofessional with me on the phone when I called to discuss. I am doing a small kitchen in my basement. She informed me that there wasn't a way to fit all the stuff I wanted onto the wall. Theirs was going to be my 4th and final quote, so I told her that I was sure it would all fit. Then she got an attitude with me when I told her what size sink I was wanting to put in (I already own all this keep in mind). I told her I wanted to put a 20" sink in the space and she informed me that they don't even make a 20" sink. Umm... ok. I have one sitting in my garage right now. Major attitude with this lady + horrible communication = I'll def be going elsewhere. I had an amazingly pleasant experience with Frugal Kitchens, Lowes and even Home Depot (who typically aren't known for their customer service). Skip Cabinet and Stone City and go elsewhere... They didn't have the exact part I needed, but the employees were genuinely friendly and took the time to talk through what I was trying to accomplish. They explained that certain sink components are difficult to find individually because they typically only come with the sink itself or as part of the original installation kit. Unfortunately, the only way their available options would have worked was if I purchased an entirely new sink. Even though I didn't leave with the part, I appreciated that they pointed me toward another store that might have it and didn't try to upsell me unnecessarily. Solid customer service and knowledgeable staff, even when the answer wasn't what I hoped for.

LuCKY for me! :-) If you own a home long enough, seems like just about everything eventually needs to be replaced. Had a tough time finding a little part I needed. Retail hardware stores and even online, the part I needed wasn't readily available. Everyone had an assembly that required much more work on my part that the job didn't call for. Finally found it at Ferguson's! They were fast and fairly priced. Their retail price is higher than online, as it's based on volume. Very happy they ordered the exact part for me, instead of an entire assembly like hardware stores. Fixed it in about 5 minutes and the ankle biter is no more! + Ambiance is clean, well-organized plumbers' dream garage. This is NOT a retail shop. All but me were plumbers in line picking up their orders. +++ Everything plumbing is sold here from gleaming faucets to tiny gaskets. Much better selection for plumbing needs than any hardware store and if they don't have it, they can order it for you. I found the part I needed online, ordered it over the phone and pick it up in 2 business days. ++ Price is reasonable +++ Service is professional, prompt and pleasant! ++ Parking is a free private lot.

Then after arriving for one of our planned layout meetings, we could not see the slab because it was unavailable. After finally having the layout meeting, one part of the backsplash was installed upside down and another part was cut from a different section without notifying us. After so many issues, I shared with them my concerns and they admitted fault and reduced the bill some. I have never written a review before for a product or company (good or bad), but I do not want anyone to suffer this type of customer service that I encountered at MC Granite.

The wheels fell off and everything went bad during the installation. Issues were with defective backsplash, not being cut straight, scratch /gouge in the countertop and polish finish on the bathroom countertop. I was directed and talked to Carlos at the Jasper facility who I was told was the shop manager. Carlos should not be interfacing with customers. He had no intention of resolving the problems and was inclined to perform a Rube Goldberg fix in the field. At one point Carlos told me that the customer is not always right. Our conversation ended shortly after that.

These are beautiful cabinets and well-made. I was a bit nervous to have to put them together, but they sent a video to my email for help. It actually wasn't that hard. The only issue I had was that there were not more videos for the specific type of cabinets we ordered (a knee-space drawer). This is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I will purchase from this company again, and I look forward to redoing our kitchen!

If I could give Prime Cabinetry zero stars, I would. This company mistakenly freight-shipped two…read moremassive kitchen hoods on pallets to my house. Legally, I had no obligation to return them, but out of basic decency, I went completely out of my way to fix THEIR error. What followed was a masterclass in corporate incompetence, lack of integrity, and outright childish behavior. Prime Cabinetry completely dumped the burden of their mistake onto me. They expected that I store these massive pallets inside my garage so the rain wouldn't damage the contents, forcing my cars out into the driveway. They then insisted that the freight carrier would not pick them up without a printed Bill of Lading (BOL) and made it my financial responsibility to produce it. I explicitly explained that I do not have a working printer at home and, as a federal employee, cannot use a government printer for personal use. They didn't care. I had to go out of my way and spend my own money to print documentation to fix their mistake. At this point, I should have told them thank you for the gift, I'll be donating it to someone who needs it or selling it for my own profit and I'm done being treated like I'm the one who made this mistake and like I'm the one making poorly directed demands--and stopped all communication--as they've done with me. To make matters worse, they scheduled an inaccurate pickup window, forcing us to rearrange our day to yet again, accommodate them. Emails are going completely ignored, and when I tried calling, calls were literally hung up on and messages left unreturned. Now that they have successfully retrieved their products, they are completely ghosting all communications. The sheer lack of professionalism and basic maturity from the customer service staff all the way up to the GM, Jennifer Goff, is shocking. They treat the people who go out of their way to help them like garbage. I'd avoid this company at all costs--if they mess up your order, expect them to make it your problem and treat you with utter contempt.
