When we started the process: August 15th Cost: 65k Why we chose them: They are not the best priced but we felt like their service level would be better than a huge national company. We were very wrong. Also they were certified platinum through the roofing company and solar we wanted. What has gone wrong in a nutshell: We felt very forgotten and gaslit throughout this process. We were told and notified things were submitted when they weren't. They blamed the city on getting permits on time but in reality the permits were approved weeks before they came out. The process wasn't given to us on how things were going to happen and in what steps, we got different answers every time we asked about this. Then when we follow up we get told that we still have time etc etc. Even when we have people scheduled to come do the install the workers didn't show up, they didn't even know until we called, then said a delivery should have happened the day before. Again, not keeping us in the loop. I would have assumed that through all the hoops we had to jump through they would have given us more TLC, nope. Not at all. Nick Messenger said he was going to personally help me project manage this, but I haven't heard back from him after he made that comment. Not through text not through call. And every time we do talk on a call it's because whatever was happening blew over and he would assume that I'm happy now. So all in all this is just another really good sales team. I highly suggest not going with them and finding a cheaper place that might be a national company of sorts so that you have more protection and better pricing. I also had a rep from a chain home improvement store come to my house to give me an estimate and researched retrofit window types and guidelines online. Ultimately, I chose to go with Los Angeles Windows and Doors based on price, great customer service from Jesus, and turn around time. Jesus replied quickly to multiple rounds of questions and sent his installer, Ezekiel to do a final measure at the house. He also came back and boarded up the window prior to installation. I received confirmations and ETAs for each portion of the job. Day of installation- Ezekiel and Hugo arrived on time. They installed the window, put a drop cloth inside the house, vacuumed inside, and cleaned up around the work area. They reinstalled shutters at my elderly mother's request and moved back all porch furniture. All workers were polite and professional. They even did a few small side handyman jobs for me after the install. End result- The window looks beautiful and I am satisfied. Cost was $200 - $900 cheaper than other quotes I received. It was also finished 1-2 weeks from first contact. Another warehouse store had quoted me 8 weeks for installation.

We also went with a company that would not shy away from new construction windows since we knew we had termite damage around one of the windows. They did a great job and the extra cost for new construction was well worth it. The window company they use is located in Anaheim and has a showroom and is very comparable with Milgard and Anlin windows. Communication with Josh was super easy and fast through text and I'd highly recommend him.
