Stopped in here when traveling from Oklahoma to Texas and it was so good! Easy to snag a table during the lunch hour. No line to order our food. The salads are massive! I appreciate that they offer Diet Dr. Pepper. The staff working this day were really friendly and even gave us candy canes on the way out- so fitting for it being Christmas Eve. My grandma chose a half soup and half sandwich combo, which she raved about. They have really convenient parking right out front. Bathrooms are super clean too. Unfortunately, every time we go, they take the order correctly, stick it to the box with how things are supposed to be made and you are lucky if what you ordered is even in the box. Might be completely wrong item, might be half what you ordered, may not even be close, and if its 8pm good luck getting them to answer the phone a hour until closing lol. Service: a real problem. I ordered a Cesar grilled Chicken Salad to go. A review of their food only would be a five star review. When I got to my meeting, opened the container there wasn't any chicken in it. I called and explained the situation. She said they were very sorry and that I could come in and get one for free. She took my name and said just give your name and I would be taken care of. Yesterday I went to get my free salad. first thing I did was call and explained everything to the person on the phone. He had no clue about who I was but said sure come on in, it will be ready in about 10 min. After ten minutes had passed I went to pickup window. this girl also had no clue who I was. she asked the manager to come to the window. The manager again had no clue. I explained everything to her. she asked if I rememberer the name of girl who told me I could have a free salad. I didn't know her name. I thought they would know my name. She finally agreed to make me my salad. I thanked her and came home. I live very close to them. When I opened the container it was technically a Cesar Chicken Salad. It did have some shredded chicken bits in the salad. There was not one single piece of chicken in the salad like in their pictures. I ordered a salad. Got back to my room to find the wrong dressing and no chicken. When I returned to the restaurant and nicely asked for the correct dressing the cashier proceeded to tell me that was the dressing I ordered. Are you kidding me? Yes. I ordered something that I literally can't eat. She then proceeded to tell me they have someone new on the line so oh well. No, not oh well! I had not eaten all day and had a ton of work to do, but instead of enjoying a salad I've ordered from other locations many times, I had to waste time driving to and from your restaurant to get what I ordered. I continued to smile and be nice while I received no apology and basically had my fixed salad thrown at me. Some of the rudest people I have ever met. read more

I'm completely convinced that Ardmore just does not have anything to offer when it comes to reliable food service. When taking our order the cashier seemed like she was on autopilot seeing as she did not get the order correct. We had to take our food back and have them replace it with what I actually ordered. This is the third time they have not gave me everything from an online order and was missing several items including soup, au jus sauce for a French dip sandwich, and a whole other sandwich. Not to mention, no sides for any of this order including no chips, utensils, pickles, etc. It's not difficult to check a bag before giving it to a customer. I worked in the food industry and my husband managed a restaurant, so we both have experience and realize things happen, but this has happened on more than one occasion. Third time is a charm and our last time coming here and another restaurant added to a list in Ardmore of terrible service. It's an exhaustive list because there are very few excellent workers in many places in Ardmore, not to mention, how many places are managed. Lesson learned. read more

So disappointed with this store. Made a to-go order and everything was fine. We literally waited for 30 minutes without any acknowledgement from the staff. Finally after 20 minutes we stopped someone for the ETA of our order and she basically said it was bumped down and they knew it had happened but didn't tell us anything. So people who ordered food after us got their food first. Then we still sat there for about 10 more minutes and finally got our food. I'm guessing one of the managers is the one who brought us our food didn't even apologize and she looked more annoyed than we were. Such a sad experience. read more

Very disappointed! They always mess our order up. Most of the time we get back to work and something is missing. Today I asked for extra mayo and got none. It's hard to choke down a dry sandwich. We were told we would get coupons in the mail one time before when we didn't receive all our food. That's been couple of months ago and still haven't received anything. Last week I placed an order on the app that was suppose to be ready at 7:20. I got the notification that it was ready about the time I was pulling in. I get up to the window and she said they didn't have my order could I pull into slot A. I set there for 28 minutes before getting my food. Don't be fooled by managements comments. I ordered the Memphian (Turkey, Ham and Roast Beef). I'd say it's a fairly simply sandwich that should be easily made in a sandwich shop. In about 15 minutes the cashier apologized for the delay, but didn't explain the problem. After I'd waited 30 minutes I requested a refund. The manager apologized and said they didn't have any meat prepped because the previous shift didn't leave enough prepped. You'd think I was in an ice cream shop trying to order a steak. LOL! So glad Ardmore has a McAlister's, have always enjoyed eating at them in other towns and now we finally have a place with great sandwiches & soups. Have eaten at ours several times now trying 3 different sandwiches and all have been delicious. It's great to order online and drive thru, so much more convenient than having to park, go inside and wait in line to get something to go. This is my first Yelp review. I just had such a great experience at the Ardmore McAlister's. I placed a to-go order at the counter and the person who took my order was very friendly and even complimented me. While I waited for my order, two FedEx delivery men came in to drop off some packages. They were hot and sweaty. I watched a manager offer them a cold drink since it's so hot outside. He was so kind and never stopped smiling while he got them the drinks of their choice. I asked him his name and told him what a nice thing he did for those men. His name is Omar. I couldn't help but smile as I talked to Omar. He was so happy and cheerful. It's obvious that he loves his job and loves helping people! We need more people like Omar in Ardmore! Don't bother with the app or call-in. I downloaded the app to save time around 12:30-12:45. The app said that my order didn't go through, so to call the business. I did and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got to the drive through there were 2 cars in front of me at 1:07. It took 30 minutes to get through. read more

Not happy at all with the service I have been getting lately. I ordered with Mcalister's Deli lastnight and my sandwich that I always get and have numerous issues with was burnt again. I have addressed my complaints to the managers and some of them have done right by correcting the issues while others just hang up on you when I have called with the recurring issues. Lastnight I asked to speak to the manager on duty and they came back and said Don is too busy to help you right now so I tried calling today to speak with another manager and I spoke with Don and he hung up on me? Can you not be professional? Anymore these days anyone can become a manager but taking your job seriously and addressing your customer's concerns in a professional manner is a respected individual that deserves to be called a manager. I love their food when it's made right. I eat there like 3-4 times a week. I spend a lot of money with them and they don't think it's important enough to make sure I am happy with the service? I don't know what to think about them anymore and I'm not sure if I would recommend anyone to eat there because of the way I have been treated. I use to work there and I know what to expect with the food. I know people make mistakes but if your not willing to address these mistakes with your fellow employees then they will never know what they are doing wrong.
