She brought us our food and didn't rush off and asked us if we needed anything else. She politely brought everything we needed to us and even asked for refills! I witnessed 4 female employees argue over a container of tea, one grabbed the tea and stomped off. 95% of the tables were filthy, floors and don't get me started on the bathroom please... Tables and tables of people sat and waited. pur order arrives (there were 2 of us dining) the food portions were small for the Price. The Mcalisters in Arlington Tx have excellent service and generous portions. Our meal was almost $27. No chips with our sandwiches only a pickle. lol I try my cup of chili and it was COLD. Like out of the fridge cold!! I lost it, went to speak to the manager, she then served me a coup of soup scalding hot. That cup smoked for probably 10 mins. She would glare at me as I ate and she was working in the kitchen. Her name is Melanie. WORST experience and my first time at this location. They needed a help wanted sign in the window. I placed a large order for delivery. Last four numbers: 6160. They don't take delivery requests over the phone so you're forced to use the app. Part of the order was for loaded nachos. My order arrived with only tortilla chips, nothing else to turn these into nachos. They're also running a special for free delivery. I was charged for delivery & there were no nachos so I called for a refund of these two items. I spoke to a "manager" by the name of Ildefonso Corona. He insisted that I go into the app & send him a screenshot showing free delivery because he'd not heard of it & said he'd send it to corporate I.T. I told him he could look at the app himself to see it was valid. He didn't want to do that. So I had to have him sound out every single alphabet in the following email address to be sure I got my refund: mcdeli553@thesaxtongroup.com. This took forever! No apology for ruining my dinner. No apology for making me go through this painstakingly long process. Then we went to eat the remaining sandwiches & there was a long hair. So into the trash those went. I'm still wanting the remainder of my order to be refunded but I'm not calling back for more of this kind of abuse. This is my second bad experience at this McAllisters location. We ordered dinner to go. I ordered a BOWL of the Potato Soup. For comparison I'm posting the picture from the McAllisters website and a picture of what I recieved. The carton with 2/3 full soup is mine. Not only was I shorted on the portion it also was not topped with cheddar, green onion and bacon. Next to my soup is the side of broccoli I ordered. I'm not sure if it spent too much time in the microwave or if it's beyond the expiration date. Either way, not eating the broccoli. I am going to eat the potato soup after I get the toppings from my refrigerator. Also, once again the bagged chocolate chip cookies were over cooked. Overly brown and borderline burned in some places. They were crunchy and because of the overbrowning tasted burned. Previously I posted about this problem with a bag of cookies we purchased a couple of months ago. My husband dug through the bags tonight and found ONE BAG of cookies that were not burned. read more

The only reason why I come to this McAlister's is because it's close to my home. But this is the WORST McAlister's I have ever been to. I hate going there and every single time I go, my food is wrong. It never fails. I would rather drive to the McAlister's in Arlington before I would ever think about going to this one! I come here at least 2-3 times a week. A combination of lunch and dinner. They're usually pretty decent at greeting you when you come in, and they take your order.... That's where the "service" stops. The only time you see the girls (or guys) walk around, is when they're bringing the food to a table. They then proceed to quickly walk back to the counter. They don't ask other tables if they need anything, they don't ask to refill drinks. It's crappy service, if I'm being nice. When you actually get your food, your soup is cold. I think I've gotten hot soup four times since they opened. This place is mediocre if you're in a hurry. read more

I seriously hate this location so much. It honestly sucks that it's the only McAlister's close to home. I've been here 100+ times and each time it only goes downhill from there. It makes me never want to go ever again but I always give them another try.... I'm not even trying to give this location a bad review like some people do just to do, I've worked in the restaurant business and honestly it's not that hard.... BUT 1) the customer service sucks. It's a bunch of high school kids who could care less about having a job. I walked in someone asked to help me, then turned around and talked to her coworker for X amount of minutes while I was standing there waiting to pay. Didn't even ask if I wanted my tea while I waited.... then couldn't even work the machine to pay for my order. AND SHE GAVE ME MY TEA WITHOUT THE LID ON ALL THE WAY. HELLO MAJOR NO NO!!!!!! 2) It is always a mess and gross looking..... once again while they have like 9 workers standing around doing nothing. 3) Seems like there is never a manager on duty or they're always doing what their employee SHOULD be doing. When you order a vegetarian entree you do not expect for it come to your table with a side of hidden porous-goodness. Also, the hallmark of this deli is the refillable giant sweet tea. Unfortunately, though the deli was swarming with teen-aged employees, many of whom walked pass my table, no matter what be offered. The experience was topped off with a rather sticky door-handle. Very hard to speak to anyone about the manager of the Burleson location when you cannot get a name or number of the person. At this location the same employees are always running from station taking care of things while other employees are noted standing behind the counter socializing. I enjoy the food at Mc Alisters but sometimes you realize their is something wrong with the workings when the same person behind the register delivers your food and cleans the table around you while others are standing behind the counter. This is a poor showing by the location manager who is supposed to be running the show. This is probably why you have to search for a table when they are all dirty. read more

Ordered a sandwich to take out over the phone. We paid no problem and were told we would be coming out soon. We waited ten minutes and saw couples that came in after us get their food. When we asked they handed us a bag that had been there when we arrived. No one had checked when we said we were picking up a phone order. On top of that they didn't put the cookie we ordered in so we are cookieless. In an age when for many locations customer service is an antiquated concept the crew at this McAlister's still remember that they are here to serve the customer. The manager took great care to insure our order was to our liking and immediately rectified an issue when an item was much spicier than we had anticipated. This location is small and aisle are very narrow. went on a Friday, at 12 noon. Had to turn side ways to walk down aisle and hope didn't spill drink on anyone. If you are in wheelchair forget it, no way to maneuver around. Menu is Neon sign and high on wall ,, very hard to read with blinking options and rotating pictures. The chicken wrap was very good and enough for 2, they piled up the chips like they just dumped the bag (thumb down). The grilled chicken sandwich also good. Pepperjack turkey turned out to be a panini which was not what I wanted, but MGR refund it (I could not read their sign and no paper menus were out). I go McAlisters (Burleson ) about 5x a week! Not one time but every time I come here my order is wrong! I'm only getting a blk cherry salad with Romaine lettuce not spinach, and every single time it's wrong! When I called back to complain tonight Mandy states WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT????? Hello. We were driving thru your area and saw mcAlisters. Not sure if they were open because it was 9:30 pm we pulled up to the door and saw that it was. We entered and asked the guy at the resister if we had time to order and eat a bite. Yes! We were excited because we had eaten at one in Wichita Falls. We ordered two for one or whatever it is called one sandwich and one with soup and two Caesar salads plus another soup. Well, first the fellow brought coffee my husband had ordered it was thick and stunk like old old coffee. No problem. He came and took it away. We wouldn't want them to make coffee this late. So 45 minutes later they bring our food. The two soups were cold the salads were so full of cores and stems( the thick part of the leaf) that it was hard to pick out the good stuff.! Not one drop of Parmesan cheese on either one and very little dressing. Well my husbands sandwich was awful! The meat on it was cooked to leather and it was so sparse it was really hilarious! We called out the manager. She came and said oh it was exactly the correct weight of meat! She was very unfriendly. My husband said okay, but it is so dry! She said well I'll make you another one I guess.... The next one came at 10:20 and the meat looked better cooked but it was sloppy and gross looking. None ever came around or checked on us! Bad. I woke up this morning with a pregnancy craving for a French dip from McAlister's. I don't have any location near my home, so I called and placed a takeout order on my drive to the Burleson location, which is about 25-30 minutes from my house. They were extremely busy but had my order ready within minutes of walking in. They didn't clarify my order when giving it to me, and practically all their tables were full so I didn't want to take up space by double checking what was in my bag. On my arrival home, I discovered that they had forgotten the au jus for BOTH French dips I ordered. Unfortunately, without the dip, I was left with two dry sandwiches that were less than appetizing. I wanted to call and complain, but I had already wasted an entire hour of my day making the drive and wasn't planning on returning today for some au jus.
