Stopped in finally yesterday and grabbed a to go order. We had dinner plans later so we split a French dip Roast beef sandwhich with a side of coleslaw and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwich was perfect, roast beef tasted great and the side of "dip sauce" really is what made it fantastic. Its really not a huge sandwhich but enough for us to split for a small lunch. The coleslaw was just disgusting all you could taste was onion, completley overpowered the entire slaw, yuck. Broccoli chedder soup just amazing, will def be getting soup here often!! The location is in a busy shopping center but right on the corner, so easy to access, plenty of parking. Every register was open during Saturday lunch, the service was very quick and plenty of available seating inside. read more

We have been eating at McAlisters in Weatherford for a long time but first time for this location. We didn't know it was National Sandwich day but it worked out well. We each had a club sand. with sides. The sandwiches were perfect as were the sides. I'm glad they are finally here. We will be back. read more

Omg We came in today to use our comp cards for the bad experience with experienced on our last visit(me and my daughter) and let me say that this time it was even worse First they didn't give me the right stuff for my southwest turkey melt, than once again my broccoli cheddar soup had green onion, and than they got my faughter order wrong three(3) times at (256pm) is when she ordered and at (317pm) they are still trying to get her sandwich right and she has almost completed her soup that she ordered to go with her sandwich. And all this mishap that has occurred not one(1) manager has came out to apologize for the problem. That is not good for buisness. I always post to yelp because I want all my feller yelpers to know when a buisness is not holding up a A-1 standards. This needs to be resolved. I was excited to try their iced tea, they are known for it I guess because there are brags on the menu, posted on the walls, all over the website, and even the employee uniform shirts had tea flex verbiage. I am sure they have a cult following for the tea so this likely won't mean anything to anyone but I would say it's "not bad". I did have high expectations, the taste is smooth and uniquely special but the sweet tea wasn't sweet enough for me. They should add an "extra sweet" version to their menu so everyone can enjoy. This is the South, most people I imagine prefer their tea a bit sweeter than it's supposed to be... anyway back to Chicken Express I go. My pallet is not refined enough for barely sweet tea. I prefer the ice slowly melt it into something amazing so I can sip it slow and enjoy every bit. I also tried their macaroni and cheese side and it was better than most, I would try it again. My husband and I went in about 2:00 pm today for lunch. I ordered a half BLT and a cup of tortilla soup. After waiting 25 minutes for our food they finally brought his soup and sandwich out. We waited another 15 for my soup and sandwich. When I looked at my sandwich I was disgusted, the bacon was pretty much RAW!!! Soup was ice cold like it just came out of the refrigerator! I took my plate up yo the manager, HE SAID NOTHING!! He just took my plate from me and walked off. After waiting another 20 minutes I had to go up and check on my food, the manager again hands me my food and says NOTHING! Today was my first experience with McAlister's Deli, the day of their "soft opening". With free lunch, the line was out the door, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they were very quick taking orders and the staff was incredibly friendly and seemed ready for the crowd. Food/Drink: My Peach Tea was fantastic (I'll definitely be back for that!), and I really liked the Tomato Bisque also. My daughter's Mac and Cheese was a little on the small side, but she loved it. The orange cranberry club was ok, but next time I'd try something different. They have a lot of hot sandwiches that looked great. Such a stingy location! I ALWAYS chose the pick 2 and have a good portion size in my salads but this location was not as generous. This was my first time ordering the Savanna salad and for some reason was under the impression that it came with avocado but it didn't. So after I received my meal I went back to the cashier and requested to order a side of avo. She charged me 1.62.. okay that's fine bc I love avocado with my salads. I'm NOT happy. This is my second time eating here and I will not be coming back. I ordered the pick two with a taco salad and an ABLT (avocado, bacon, lettuce and I added cheese). I got a tiny portion of "taco meat" (it's chili) and the lettuce inside of the plastic container was wilted. I wasn't very impressed with the salad, but it was okay, not something I would order again or crave. The sandwich. Was. Disgusting. My bacon was UNCOOKED. Cold to the touch and not cooked - my mother in law ordered something with bacon and hers was slightly browned because it was COOKED. Unfortunately, my husband are the majority of the sandwich before noticing that it was uncooked. I will be attaching a picture of it. The bread was black. Here was hardly any herb mayo on it. The "sweet" tea was hardly sweet - had to add sugar when we got it home. Overall, I am disappointed and unimpressed and will NOT be returning. We normally love McAlisters, but this location was just par. For starters, the staff who took our order had serious listening problems. We ordered a sweet tea and cookie, both of which we had to repeat when reviewing our order because he missed them. Then, when my wife's Veggie Spud came out as a Veggie SANDWICH, we realized he had made another mistake. When they fixed it and brought out the correct sandwich, the broccoli was not steamed enough and was still essentially raw. Our daughter's French bread sandwich had a pathetic amount of sauce and cheese, and my salad definitely had several leaves that were past their prime. Our other child's Mac and cheese was good though. I would actually give this particular visit a 2 out of 5 stars, but normally McAlisters are great and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that tonight was an off day. read more

I ordered from here using door dash. Today we ordered a few items totaling in 47$ the delivery is only a 10 min drive and it arrived as such. But all the food was ice cold and the salads were all rotten. See picture. The chocolate chip cookie they sent was the size of a silver dollar and they missed out on some of the order. Unacceptable. My friend and I came here on a super busy afternoon and Kaysan was so helpful and friendly when we were trying to decide from the many delicious options on the menu -- she even suggested some seasonal items that we didn't see on the regular menu. The service was great, food was brought to us quickly, and the manager came to our table to make sure we were happy with our meal. Well today I went back to The Burleson McAlister's so they could make good on their promise. Today I got a new sandwich free on the manager per a YELP response to my yelp review. We eat at the southeast Arlington Highlands McAllister's's all the time and very rarely are we in Burrleson at the animal ER vet with sick kittens so that night we decide to go down and have dinner at McAllister's. It was a real letdown, so I got my new sandwich tonight and it was disastrous! I got another chicken salad sandwich, I asked for extra mayo, the guy said extra mayonnaise, yes, lots of mayonnaise and potato chips. I didn't go overboard for a salad like last time, I just wanted my sandwich and a drink. I waited, got my sandwich, went to the car l, opened it and the thing was a disaster. One side of the croissant was just pastry flakes, there was no mayonnaise on any of the slices of bread. I was very disappointed and I took it right back and gave it to the manager, it took forever to rebuild it herself, she said she would make it herself. I got it and left. I looked at the car in with car, AOK. People if you're working anywhere, behind the scenes, front counter, front desk, anywhere, do your job right or don't do it at all, there was hardly any chicken salad on the sandwich, I was told it's pre-measured. OK find is pre-measured, but don't put the dollop right in the middle, take a second to spread it out on the bread, make someone think they have a real sandwich with real filling on the bread, not just an inch of bread all the way around and a spoonful of filling. Usually this is a good (not great) place to grab a quick lunch. Today I ordered the half sandwich and cup of soup. The soup (chicken tortilla) was room temperature and barely filled half the small plastic cup. The sandwich (southwest chicken) was burned on the bottom and the strips of chicken were so dry they tasted more like chicken jerky! On the upside, the sweet tea was good. Came in to pick up our online order first I notice one of the pick two sandwiches was missing so I should have checked the rest of the bag but I've never had an issue with y'all before so when I walked back in I told them what I was missing they grabbed it off he line and I left. When I got home I notice they also forgot my daughters mac and cheese and had to deal with my crying little girl till I could console her. I ended up giving her my sandwich which has left me now the pissed off one. This has never happened with all the times I've come to this establishment and I trusted y'all. Maybe if they were not so focused on selling the last 2 bags of cookies they could have saved my daughter a few tears. Honestly I'm just shocked at the lack of quality control from somebody I held on a higher standard. This is by far not the first time this has happened and when I brought it up to the macalisters website they sent me something saying they would reach out to me and correct the issue and still haven't. So you failed on both fronts. -- Update: went tonight and they showed real care in getting the food correct and the food is spectacular when it's correct. The lack of lids for the drinks was a bad look but it's a week out from Christmas I can understand a few logistics short falls. 4 stars is still the best I can do we love the food and will be back giving this place another shot or 2 they are in the same parking lot as fire house which serves hot sandwiches aswell but their staffing and accuracy are better. The food does set the two apart McAlisters has more variety which is good for picky kids but the last 2 times that wasn't an issue since it was the kids food they messed up. Please take the time to read this. It is not over exaggerated in any way. I showed up at 1:00 to get myself something to eat. I get in line and there is only 1 person ahead of me and it is not crowded or too busy. I end up waiting in line for 10+ minutes as there is only 1 girl running the register at the time. I assumed that they are just understaffed so I didn't think anything of the wait in line. But then I see one of their workers standing over by the bathroom waiting to use it. And she stood there (right near an open register) for 3 of the minutes that I was waiting. I'm sorry, but if you see a customer waiting to be helped, you don't just stand off to the side for 3 minutes avoiding eye contact. One lady, who i assume is their manager was just walking around with a "I hate being here" look on her face and even made eye contact with me and walked away. When I finally get to order, the lady who helped me was very nice and helpful. I ordered a grilled chicken club with NO BACON and a side of honey mustard. A very simple order. I then wait 10 more minutes for my food to be ready. I could clearly see their screen with orders and there was only one order ahead of mine. Well then other people's food starts piling up on the counter, ready to be brought to them and multiple people are walking back and forth ignoring it! They are filling straw containers that were not empty yet instead. I finally see my food be placed on their counter as ready to serve and I still had to wait because no one was distributing any of the food. Then I see a girl with glasses through their kitchen door writing on a clip board and wiping her nose with her bare hand continuously! She then started complaining out loud to whoever would hear her that there was food ready to serve and that it needed to go out. But no one listened to her and she did nothing about it. Right by her was an overflowing trash can (in the kitchen) and people kept throwing things in it where it would then fall to the floor. So now I FINALLY after several minutes get my food and I check it and there is clearly bacon on my sandwich. You might just say take it off yourself, but I cannot eat bacon or have any of the grease cross over on to my food. It makes me sick to my stomach. So I get the attention of one of the girls with reddish hair and kindly explained to her of the mistake. I didn't say anything about my wait or what I had witnessed. She tells me that she will go get it fixed. I then proceeded to wait 20 more minutes!!! By this point, multiple of other food orders have been made and distributed already and I was still standing there. Another girl walked by and asked if I had been helped and I told her that I was still waiting for my food to be fixed. Then the girl with reddish hair yelled from their doorway that they were still making it. How long does it take to make a grilled chicken club? Mine should have been a priority before all other outgoing orders! As Im still waiting, I see a couple of their cooks and front counter girls all eating food by their doorway. Their cooks were eating food while wearing their gloves and then going back into the kitchen and making food without changing them! Their front counter girls were eating food and then touching and handling to go food orders and laughing and not paying any attention to other customers waiting on refills! There was only 1 girl who was running around and doing the best that she could do, but it looked like she was new and so she could only do so much. One other guy waiting by me started yelling out to the other girls to get their attention and he had to call out 3 times before someone responded to him. Finally, I can see the girl with reddish hair leave from the back room table where she was talking and eating and tell one of their cooks again that she needed my sandwich remade! They both then started mocking my request and were laughing at me as if I were a nuisance and being troubling. They kept looking my way and giggling. During this whole time, their manager just stood in the back of the kitchen and not really doing anything at all. Hopefully Burleson McAlisters upper management will see this and address these issues. To the girl who was new and running around trying to do what she could, look for another job. I have always loved coming here in the past and enjoyed their food, but there has been such a decline in service that I have no desire to come back or recommend anyone to come either. read more

Don't get to go on a weekend. They make you stand in the regular line to even pick up your order. By the time my husband made it through the line (it was to the door) our food was extra cold (hot-sandwich)when we got it at home. They have a seriously screwed up system for to Go's. Not even sure why they offer that service if they can't get to you when you come in to get it. We won't be going back for quick lunches. Update: I received a message from McAllister's, apologizing for my to go weekend experience. They are sending me a Free meal in the mail. I really appreciate the time that they took to try to make this right. I'll keep everyone updated, as they say they are working on getting a to go station set up, so this situation doesn't happen again. read more

This place is always busy, but has horrible service. There were no clean tables after we waited in line and ordered. I had to go ask for someone to clean it off. We then waited about 15 mins for our food to come. People who ordered after us got their food before us. Very frustrating. Probably won't come back to this location. We always got much better service at the Killeen location when we lived there. read more
