Pepper jack turkey sandwich with side of mac n cheese
    Derrick C.

Not that McAllisters are over the top amazing, but there was nothing about this one that set it over the top. It got very busy after we ordered and sat down just after 12 pm today, my co worker and I. We decided on this place for lunch on our way to the airport after our business concluded in the morning. I ordered a pepper jack cheese turkey sandwich, which was good, and my co worker ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup, which she always orders. The food is always good. Very filling and never subpar...very consistent. This experience was just ho hum. Any McAllisters experience is always either 3 or 4 stars to me. Never terrible and never outstanding...just reliable.

The Food here was not good. Definitely not as good as other locations I have been to. The worst part was The tomato bisque we ordered looked like marinara sauce. Would not return

Vegetarians beware! I frequently find meat in my salads at McAlisters

I once loved this place, and I would frequently eat here multiple times a week. It was also a Sunday tradition for my family to go to McAlisters. I'm not sure what has happened lately, but it has been extremely unclean lately. I'm vegetarian and I no longer order salads because I keep finding pieces of ham and chicken. I once found a strawberry, which led me to believe that they are not cleaning the mixing bowls. I wish they would come back to what they once were. This used to be one of my favorites.

This one popped up so I stopped in. I guess there are multiple rooms here, one part is a restaurant and then there is a bakery. I only was in the bakery. They have a lot to choose from. Some stuff is sitting on the counter in the open which was odd and at one point I thought maybe they were samples but they were full sized items so I think they were for sale. Anyway I decided to order a few items. I ordered some kind of brownie. I think it was called the all good bar. It's a brownie with walnuts in it, then a peanut butter layer on top of it and a layer of chocolate ganache on top of that. It's a buckeye in brownie form and it's amazing. It could easily go into the way too sweet territory but it doesn't. It's perfect. One or two bites satisfies a sweet tooth. So I took a few bites over 2-3 days. I wish I had more. I also ordered I think it was called a basket. It was pastry puff dough in a rectangle with cream cheese in the center and very thin slices of apple on top. I brought that home and heated it up in our airfryer for 3-4 minutes and let me tell you it was one of the best things I've eaten all year. And I've had some really delicious food this year. I wanted to cry. It was that good. Unbelievable. I wanted to scarf it down and also take my time because I didn't want to not have it. The last thing I bought was a two pack of their iced shortbread cookies. They were right by the register and maybe on sale and I figured why not. These took me back to childhood. There was a bakery near us in Ohio called 'taste and tell'. They had the best iced cookies. I'm 43 and I still think about them. That place closed probably 30 years ago? I took a bite of these cookies and time traveled to 'taste and tell'. Whatever recipe they use is the same. They are so good!! Out of the three items I bought I didn't have a favorite because everything was amazing in its own right. The brownie was rich and sweet and decadent and had crunchy and creamy and perfection. The basket was 10/10 pure heaven and the cookies were a blast from the past of one of my favorite childhood treats. I'm both sad and happy that this place is so far from me because i want to be there everyday. I will definitely be back to empty the bakery case and also to try and sandwich or soup or real food too.

This place was great to come here because this place had a huge selection of vegan options to choose from. For me they had my health conscious drinks. The meals itself were pretty cheap. Even crazier is that this place sold vegan pizza! Other than that the store has a lot of great practical finds. The grocery prices are not too bad either compared to other co-ops. The dining section is very clean and well maintained. Staff here is also really friendly and helpful as well. I do think that the store facade let alone a whole strip mall needs to be updated. Clean restrooms as well and they always inform you about local events happening at the grocery store. Consistent daily deals with weekday specials. Great store to support!

Neighborhood Co-Op is one of those places you can become a member at and get discounts and other things. Maybe the prices are kind of high, but there's a lot of harder to find items. There's a lot in here for plant based eating, as well as for those wanting to eat healthier, and local. Came to get a few things while on a visit and got more than expected. It's bigger than it looks. There's a lot of aisles, and has a good amount of baked goods, along with some pretty fresh produce. A lot of natural and organic items. They have a lot of the Applegate Farms products if you want organic meats and sausage. Of course there's plenty of plant based. They have non dairy items like nut milks and yogurts. In the bakery there was vegan zucchini bread. The prices in here are kind of high, but if you become a member you get coupons and specials. Has to be a stop if you're shopping for organics around here. It's located in the Murdale Shopping Center on West Main Street. There's a ton of things for vegans and vegetarians.

Next time through there, we bought ourselves a box of 30, hubby more exotics and a pack of bacon. We love bacon. In Utah, we bought it fresh, in a 15 pound box from a farm. As we have gotten older, it doesnt always agree with us any more. The Stonie's bacon, however, was great. Cooked up well, digested well, the taste was wonderful. Our final trip through this month, we didnt stop. I couldn't find their hours on their website, it was pretty early in the morning and we were tired. A mistake. We can order the sticks online but not the bacon. We just ordered plenty of sticks. We will eventually take a trip again back to where we moved from and get bacon. It is definitely worth a stop.
