It's hit or miss with the food here. We've ordered in 9n some nights and had decent food, but I feel it depends on the time of day or night you stop in. We've had several that just seemed thrown together. Definitely never do carry out here! We've tried that on a handful of occasions, and it never fails something was wrong on someone's order. For what you are paying, I'd like to think they pay closer attention to orders. Cleanliness doesn't seem to be a priority either. i do doordash on the side, and when i had to pick up an order at mcalister's, my app wouldn't work and i lost phone service. during this time, Madison, a front of house employee, was intensely helpful. she told me about the free wifi, gave me a drink, and let me walk around and try to get phone service. where doordash failed me, madison did not. she should be given the biggest raise possible read more

We ordered a couple of sandwiches at the counter to carryout. I got the roast beef with horseradish sauce. Super salty. A lot of bread and little meat. Maybe some of the other sandwiches are better? There was clearly a difference in opinions, but we were still able to find some common ground. My older sister and I firmly planted ourselves on opposite sides. She knew she wanted lunch from Panera and I knew I wanted McAlister's Deli. There was nothing that either one of us could have said to each other to convince us otherwise. We were stubborn and not open to hearing any opposing views for the best lunch spot. My younger sister on the other hand took a more moderate approach. She really contemplated both options. While I admired her even keeled nature, eventually she was going to have to choose a side or else she wouldn't have any lunch. She ended up getting Panera. I was a little sad, but I was happy for her because it seemed like she made the best decision for herself. At the end of the day, we were able to put our lunch eating differences aside and all reunited to eat our different lunches at the same table. We didn't just talk about where we got our lunches and why we felt like they were the best, we talked to each other as humans that care for one another. Even though I still think McAlister's Deli was the place to go for lunch, I don't hate my sisters for going to Panera. My sandwich was real good and I'm pretty sure they enjoyed theirs too. read more

If you're like me, when you think Italian, you're thinking mustard .. smh. Cookies from a food service .. same with factory potato salad. Awful experience. The first time I ordered they said there was a glitch in the system and I had to order again and wait. That was about a month ago. We ordered today. Called and were told they'd bring out our order. 10 minutes later I went inside the manager Carlie said they didn't get the order. I showed her my phone text confirmation. She said she would take the order and we could wait I told her no we would go elsewhere. We left for home. I called back and stated I wanted to make sure my credit card wasn't charged. Me and my fiancé ordered dinner from here and we ordered two nacho baskets with our regular meal.. they said they only had enough dip for one so they substituted a soup and didn't even put the other nacho basket in the bag and tried to call us liars bc they didn't put it in there. His sandwich looked tasty but Caesar was about half romaine stalks as was my salad along with wilted brown pieces of kale. My daughter and I stopped for lunch yesterday, Saturday 7th, maybe 3 tables in there with customers. 2 guys at the order counter, we waited 10 minutes while one guy disappeared, the other cleaned the counter, played with a pen, tossed wadded up napkins into garbage can. This was after saying they would be right with us ! I started to walk out, my daughter said something to the guy at the counter and then he was ready to wait on us.. I thought it was rude, not like he was busy, It was around 1 or 1:30 on a Saturday. Now i see why its not busy. The food is always good but service is awful.
