Had the Reuben it was really good. Service was just OK, but they were very busy. The ambience is nothing to brag about, but it was clean.

Very dissapointed. I needed a turkey sandwich plain with mustard. It was very expensive and all that was on it was two slices of very thin turkey on plain cheap bread. Nothing like the picture. My granddaughter would not eat it. Presentation was horrible. So sad. read more

My mother and children dined here 6/9/2025 for lunch. My daughter sent me a picture, which looks disgusting, but is cheese dip. She couldn't even eat it. Stopped in for a salad with my husband while we were visiting Hot Springs recently. While the front counter staff and the young lady serving were courteous, my salad honestly looked like it had been pulled from the garbage can. It was not aesthetically pleasing at all. And the tea tasted like it had been brewed the day before. We were in such a rush, that we did not complain, but later was told by a local, that no one eats McAllister's. And for the same reasons. It was late when we arrived so there weren't many customers. We ordered right away and had a small wait for our food. We both got a choose 2 for under $11 each which is a bargain. Husband had a chili and Cuban sandwhich and I had the broccoli soup and veggie potato. The portions were huge and the food delicious. Only problem I had was the roasted colored peppers were extremely spicy hot. This is my fault not theirs. I assumed they were the roasted sweet peppers. I pulled them off and still enjoyed them. Next time I'll remember to order without peppers. Staff came around a couple times to see if we needed anything. Restaurant was clean and had a lot of seating. Stopped by McAllister today to order to veggie sandwiches and it was a total disappointmen. Every that the sandwich is supposed to contain was wrong. Rather than including the bell peppers, avocado, tomato's and so on they simply added spinach and their cucumber salad. read more

I stopped in for lunch and he restaurant appeared clean and as inviting! I decided to go to the restroom before ordering and when I walked into the bathroom, the floor was extremely sticky!! When I left back into the dining room, everyone could hear my shoes sticking to the floor!! I ordered the Ultimate Nachos, without jalapeños or olives. When it came, they had left off the olives and jalapeños, but it had VERY LITTLE on it! They failed to give me the sour cream and green onions, and the center chips had a small scoop of chili, barely any cheese dip, and even less shredded colby jack! They also failed to give me any silverware!! What a mess! If it wasn't for the price, I wouldn't have thought that much about it, but basically I paid $8 for chips, and the other $3 to $4 was for the sliver of avocado and cup of chili. Not worth the money! On top of all of that, I could see the kitchen cooks and helpers, and not one of them were wearing any type of personal protective equipment (PPE) to avoid cross-contamination! I know you're coming here after you've already had a bad experience, and I wish I could have let you know ahead of time. Food quality was horrible, sat in "curbside pickup" forever waiting and no one came. Finally went in for them to rudely state they were out of stock of some of the things I ordered. The food I did receive was made improperly without items on the sandwiches at all. If you're going to spend $40 on lunch there is certainly a better place for you to go than this absolute dump of an establishment. read more

Go to the counter, Order, Get a number and they bring to the table style dining. Hubby loves the Muffuletta and he just can't find it around here. I like that they allow you to pick different bread that what might show up on the menu board. Tea is always good. Potatoes, Sandwiches, and few desserts. If you want a sandwich this place works and they are usually fast at bring the food to the table. I get the Chicken Club on Ciabatta bread and love that. Came in for the 1st time, to have a family lunch. Got the half sandwich and chili (after askin the young lady in denim button down) how the chili was, oh dear gracious. That chili was so bitter/sour! I tried 3 bites, before and afrer bite of sammich. I even took my tray up to the counter, thinkin one of the employees would question the uneaten chili (nope). Not only was it super quick to get our food but my son wouldn't eat his sandwich bc the bread was toasted and I asked if I could just get a couple pieces of white bread to change the bread and they made him a whole new sandwich. A very basic sandwich on so-so bread with the typical precooked bacon served at sandwich chains. Lettuce was wilted and seemed old. When my husband got home with our food there was no au jus to go with the two french dips, my mac n cheese was ice cold and my sweet tea was barely BARELY even sweet... I ordered via their app as the sign outside the restaurant suggests. I waited 20+ minutes, and no food was ever brought to my vehicle. So I called the restaurant and was told my order was not in their system because I ordered too late despite my card being charged. The sign said open until 9:00p, and I ordered before 8:00p. I watched the workers leave and lock up after 8:00p while I waited on my food that never came. There was no manager on sight so the young lady told me she couldn't give me a refund and to just call their corporate office. She then called her manager who told me to call the store the next morning. No food, rude service, but took my money. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer by any establishment. We are in town on the way home to Dallas on a Sunday night. It's around 7pm so we know some places are closing for the night. We were going to stop here because I read they had gluten free bread for their sandwiches but the places was closed and lights out. Then I read on their website that they were supposed to be open until 9pm on Sundays at that location. So we ended up at Wendy's where I had to settle for a salad. read more

Love love love their autumn squash soup and sweet wildberry tea, I plan on trying the wildberry unsweet tea on my next visit . The staff is very friendly and ready to help as soon as you come to the counter. I have visited this location several times and have only had good experiences. I uploaded their menu for anyone that wants to know what they have and for people like me that are always getting things on the go. I do think overall this chain is a bit pricy....I got a large flavored tea, bowl of soup, and loaded baked potato and it was $17.00. I ate lunch at this location today and was seriously disappointed in the service and quality of the food. It was a busy Sunday afternoon and I don't know if the staff was not properly trained or just didn't care. There were many tables that did not have anyone sitting at them but they were all dirty. We had to clean a table to have a place to sit. The clerks were courteous that took our orders but seemed to be frustrated. After we all ordered it took a longer period of time to get the food that I am accustomed to at most McCalister locations. When they finally brought the food out about half our orders were wrong and the food was not warm. My father had order a simple bowl of chili and we had to ask for it 4 different times after everyone else had gotten their meals. I had to got to the front counter to get the chili because the people we ask about the missing order never returned with the food. Before leaving we went to get drink refills and stood at the front counter as employees just kept walking by and not even acknowledging we were there. Eventually a female employee ask a male employee to get out refills and he seems confused about what to do. He finally came and refilled 3 drinks and then walked off as the rest of us stood there holding our cups out to get refills. I finally had to get his attention again and ask him to finish the refills. I understand some days are just bad days but this was very subpar for McCalisters. read more

Ate with my son last night at McAlister's first the good part the French Dip was just OK. We were not even close to closing time, but the staff was almost non-existent. After a long wait, our order was taken by a girl with an I would rather be anywhere be here look on her face. We got our order in and headed to a table to find 4 out of 5 screws must have been out of the support post as the table top was rocking in every direction. We gathered our drinks and headed across to another. I looked at the table beside the one we had just left from our new table, and it was also broken down on one end. My son could see the service window and said our two French dips have been in the service window for a long time and are going to be cold, so I went over where the counter gal was making change from the register, bills and coins being handled as I watched. I respectfully asked her if those were our French dips could they please bring them to our table. With a scowl on her face and fresh from making coin and bill change from the register she headed over and was about to grab out two plates. Agree or not money is one of the top culprits for passing germs and I can not stand seeing anyone handle money then my food. I spoke up right when her fingers touched the first plate and said, Please do not touch our plates you just handled money from the register! Another dirty look and she told the guy in the kitchen would you take these out and he did. Last we had no napkins, and when I looked around, there were no dispensers on any counter and no one behind the counter at all. Won't be going back for sure. read more

McAlisters what can I say but what a disaster. Hot food is cold and when asked about it was told that the food was left on the heater but it was turned off so the food wouldn't get overcooked for evening meals and they don't turn it back on to get hot. What good is ordering the hot turkey sandwich when it is stone cold. And the staff was oh well thats how it is and no offer to heat it up or anything. Sent an email to customer service and there is no customer service. They never even answered our email. Will not be returning there for a long time.. if ever. read more
