I had the country fried steak with loaded mashed potatoes. They gave us a giant piece of bread and we both had salads. Everything tasted delicious and fresh, no complaints... The service wasn't the most friendly staff I have encountered in hot springs. However the food was very good and they had a good amount of options. One thing, if you're not a fan of salt I wouldn't recommend it because everything was over salted. Other than that the flavors were good. The steak could've used a bit more sear. This unassuming building on the side of airport road is one you'll want to stop at. Recommended by locals, we popped in for a mid-day Sunday dinner. It was fairly quiet, so our server was quick and attentive. The overall vibe is country-ish with country music in the background, a smallish dining area, and a bar. You'll be served a warm loaf of bread that is really delicious. There is a dedicated menu as well as chef specials. My husband chose the hickory smoked ribeye with mac and cheese, I opted for the wagyu filet. (What the sign didn't say was it was only 4oz, so keep that in mind if you're feeling hungry!) My husbands meal was cooked to perfection, my filet was more well than medium, but was still juicy and tender. Both had lots of flavor and were delicious. Thankfully I was not super hungry, so if I were to return I may opt for something with more meat for less money. I would def give this place a try. So I'll admit, as a visitor from out of state seeing this place inside and out.. if it weren't for the multiple recommendations I probably wouldn't have gone. It does look dingy and outdated, but clean so I came in with an open mind. After all this is a smaller town. I'm really glad we went because the food was really good. The complimentary fresh bread and butter they give was truly one of a kind. The sirloin was flavorful, the mashed potatoes were buttery and soft, the Mac and cheese in my opinion was meh but my mom really liked it. I had another wonderful experience at Lost Creek Grill on Airport Rd. Our server (I didn't catch her name) was very polite and attentive without ever being overbearing, which made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. The food was delicious as always. My guest and I both ordered the 8oz sirloin--mine cooked medium and hers medium well--and they were both absolute perfection. The salads were cool, crisp, and fresh, a perfect start to the meal. So today, my wife and I visited LCG as we have in the past. The food is always good and normally the service is ok. Today, we knew it would be busy being Friday night but that was ok. We had a 25 minute wait, no big deal! We placed our names on the wait list and waited. As we sat waiting, the one hostess with the butterfly tattoo was good, efficient, and doing the work of the other hostesses who stood their with smug faces and lost in space. "Robert" came in and added his name to the list 12 minutes after us. Next thing I know, smug face #1 called "Roberts" name and proceeded to seat him and his wife. Naturally, I complained as we were or should have been the next two top. Tattoo girl looked pissed at smug face #1 as she should have been because smug face #1 shouldn't even have a job. Tattoo girl went to the manager and here he comes. Me being me thought he is going to make it right. Nope! He looks at the list, walks off and speaks to tattoo girl and neither of them said a word to us. I told my wife, let's go! As we stood up, tattoo girl said yall should be next. No ma'am, what you should have said is you are next! But now I know how they operate and I said nope, we are out!!!! Again, me being me will never return to this place. I'm a one and done guy of you wrong me. To LCG, do better! Get rid of incompetent little girls who only want to do nothing but draw a paycheck. This is why the generation is the way it is. You as an employer are not holding them accountable and not rewarding the ones who do a good job. Definitely disappointed with the quality of food and the attitude our waitress had. For reference our party was 4 adults and one teen and it was at 5 pm on a Thursday. The restaurant was not overly busy and we are polite. We used our manners , we were quiet and looking forward to a good meal on our first day of vacation. I went with my wife, daughter and her partner and ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer. It was 8 slices and we agreed that it was some of the best we'd ever had. Service was slow because they had several big tables and were extremely busy. I ordered the Wagyu chopped beef with a special sauce, new potatoes and corn on the cob. My wife and my daughter's partner both got the Wagyu burger and my daughter got the Wagyu beef tips with the same sauce as my chopped beef. The sauce was phenomenal! My sides were cooked perfectly. Our hotel said this was the best restaurant in Hot Springs so we went there our first night to get soup. Wife had baked potato soup and I had sausage and chicken gumbo. Both had great flavor. Potato soup wasn't hot enough and gumbo had more jalapeños than I care for. We also tried the wagyu beef sliders. Probably the best we had ever had. Just outstanding. Perfect crispness of the patties. A little expensive but worth it. The food looked so good we went back later that week! We both had baked potato soup. Again tasted great but not hot enough. I actually thought mine had too much bacon, something I never thought I'd say!. My hickory smoked ribeye was probably the best ribeye I've had. Great seasoning and good cut of meat. I usually only eat half but I had to eat all of it it while it was fresh. Loaded mashed potatoes were good. Again, too much bacon, especially when eating with a stake. They were very thick, but had good flavor. I'd not get corn on the cob again. It was fine but they don't do anything to elevate it. Needs some kind of seasoning. Meals come with a complementary loaf of bread which has a nice flavor. Servers both times were good. It really doesn't look like much from the outside but is pretty good on the interior. Got seated right away. The hostess and servers need to smile a little bit more. The only one laughing was the bartender. I had the loaded chicken with mashed potatoes and hubs had a ribeye with a loaded baked potato. They bring you a small loaf of bread with butter. It was delicious. Our house salads arrived and they were fresh. Not made earlier and sitting in the fridge. Cucumbers were cut in a nice thin slice, and grape tomatoes with a sprinkle of mixed shredded cheese on top. Dressing was on the side. Chicken came out and was a little over chard but it was good. Hubs had no complaints regarding his steak or bake potato. We saw the amazing reviews on Yelp and decided to try it out while in town. First thing you should know, they don't take reservations. You can however call 20mins ahead of your arrival time, and they will put you on list. When we arrived at 5:30, we were sat immediately. Which was great! We started with the Spinach crab dip, served with fried pita slices. So good! Hubby got Blackened Chicken with Shrimp topped with Cajun creamy sauce. Not too spicy, and just perfect with a side BP. I opted for Smoked Ribeye with sweet potato. We both got salads as well. Both were delicious, cooked to perfection and steaming hot when arrived to table. We decided we needed dessert since it was our anniversary. So we got the Turtle Cheesecake. Our Waitress Keli, she was very attentive, friendly and funny. She told us a couple of Halloween "Dad jokes" Told us she wasn't singing, so the dessert was on the house. And we truly appreciated it! It was yummy. Overall the food was amazing. The decor is old school western flare, but don't let that detour you. Had several Large TV's on different channels too. It' has a 5star review from us! Wonderful food and service!! A gem to find while travelling!! We couldn't have asked for a better meal after a long day on the road.

We were in town for the weekend and had the opportunity to have dinner for the first time last night. We arrived at 4:45pm to a very full parking lot on a Saturday. Our instant thoughts were, it must be good; we were not disappointed. We were seated almost instantly. After given the a choice between the dining room or the bar area, we chose the dining room, which was spacious and open. The tables were amplly spaced to give patrons and wait staff room to maneuver. Enough about the decor, let's get to the food and service. Penny, our estute server, was prompt in collecting our beverage and appetizer choices. The fresh out of the oven house bread came out quickly to our delight. For our main courses we chose the bacon-wrapped filet and the hickory-smoked ribeye, which were both grilled to perfection and excellently seasoned. Our side dishes of asparagus, baked potatoe and grilled shrimp were also excellent. All of this food saddly left us with no room for the cheesecake dessert. Which we'll have to try the next time we are in the area. We we're also happy to have been approached by the owner to check on our experience, to which we lauded Penny's great service and the excellent food. read more
