Trying to pick up a doordash order. Lady manager said I was too early and would not give me the order. The customer said it was fine but she (Concetta ) or something like that kept ignoring the phone calls. I could see it plain as day. I think she should move on to a different company. This place used to be a good McAlister's but continues to go downhill. This will be the last time we come till there is some new management for sure. The mac and cheese had probably been reheated many times and tasted like cardboard. The cooked sandwich was ice cold and very poorly constructed. The sweat tea tasted like it was a week old... I took sweat tea back to the counter as a born and raised Texan and got coke it was that bad. They got a lot of employees standing around and a lot of tables dirty all at the same time. Horrible experience. We've ordered from here 3 times and all 3 times they forget something from our order. Most recent they forgot MY SANDWICH and my drink was wrong!!! A whole damn sandwich and they didn't even apologize for the mistake. The manager said, "I can give you a refund or I can remake it and bring it to your home when I get off. I really wish I could give Zero stars. Placed an online order and pulled up to the pickup window to pick my order up. Cashier Mikayla was very rude and saying smart remarks under her breath. It appears she had an issue because I placed an online order 5 mins prior to going to the pickup window. The cashiers and managers at this location have no customer service nor professionalism at all. I asked to speak to a manager and a young lady name Porsha ( who was suppose to be an assistant manager) never asked what happened and seemed unconcerned with the issue and told me I would have to wait 24 hours for a refund. I don't write reviews but this trip warranted one. I ordered a pick order online and showed up at the window at the appointed time. When my wife and I got there the asked us to wait at the pick up parking spot since it wasn't ready. Okay, no worries. 20 mins go by and no one brought us our order so we went back to the drive through. They left our order sitting on the counter and according to the recipt left it there for 20mins. To make matters worse, beside the now cold food, the order wasn't made right and my wife found small bugs in her salad. All in all not worth the $30+ we spent. Go elsewhere read more

As much as I love McAlister's, they have messed up my order time and time again. I ordered two sandwiches with chips and a salad, and they left off more things from my order than necessary. They forgot my chips and salad dressing, and I drove back to pick up what was missing. They did not apologize, just handed me my missing items and said have a nice night. When I got home, I pulled my items out, and was missing the sauce for my sandwich, and the sandwich itself was cold. As hungry as I am, it's not worth my time to drive BACK up there for a third time. At this time I'm just frustrated and annoyed that this has happened multiple times. I hope things can be resolved, as I want to continue going there, but this is very frustrating. read more

I love McAlister's but this location seriously disappoints. I've ordered here MULTIPLE times and everytime I ask for a pickle spear and it's never there. Why ask if you're not going to provide it? Today though, I made an online order that was to be ready for pick up at 12pm...mind you I am on my lunch break... it's 12:30 and my order wasn't ready yet. I had to ask multiple staff for my order until I finally got it. GREAT. I receive it, get to my office, my sandwich is cold, it has more lettuce than chicken, no pickle, no honey mustard. They did a half ass job with my order and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Perhaps they should try to work a better system instead of having multiple people standing waiting over 30 minutes for an order. I've tried calling to make a complaint and can never get a manager on the phone. I'm beyond dissatisfied by this experience today. read more

The food was standard for a deli place. I'm writing this review for the weirdest dining experience I've ever had. I sat down in an isolated booth to enjoy my sandwich. I'm not a fast eater so I'm just munching along minding my own business. The first few times the staff checked up on me at my table I was like wow their service is so attentive, but then they kept asking if I was done with my plate. My sandwich is still on my plate and I am eating casually. They have visited my table a total of SEVEN times. I observed they did not visit other tables this many times but i digress. This is the first Yelp review I have ever left. This restaurant is so bad that I felt compelled to write a review. We have tried this location probably five different times both in person and to go. Their to-go service is maybe the worst I've ever experienced. The orders are always wrong and the portions and food quality are embarrassing. I have frequented other locations and had great experiences, but the Mansfield location is AWFUL! I am honestly surprised they haven't been shut down. The food is that bad. I love McAlister's but this is the worst run location in the metroplex. I hope they see this and make an effort to improve their service because it is so convenient and close to my house. Absolutely love their food! BUT...their drive up window is a nightmare! I got there 5 minutes later than it said my order would be ready only to come upon about 7 cars ahead of me. If I would have know this I would have opted to go inside. So I wait...finally get up to the window, it is now at least 12 minutes after it said my order would be complete. I get to the window, tell Alexis my name, she then proceeded to disappear for 7 minutes. 7 minutes! Did they lose my order, did they forget to make my order, was the ticket lost??? Who know's! There was absolutely no communication from anyone inside about what was going on. Not only that, but there is a HUGE line of cars behind me. Suggestion: if you do not have the order immediately for the person at the window, kindly ask them to pull ahead or to a parking spot so that you may continue to quickly serve the other cars that have their order ready. I came to McAlisters in Mansfield for the first time Saturday evening 8/28/21. The place was pretty busy but the staff did amazing! I want to give a shout out to Dawn, the only manager I seen. Things were in order for sure. She checked on us within minutes of us receiving our very delicious food, and made sure we left with full cups of the best sweet tea ever! Not all of the ladies had on name tags or I would give them shout outs too, but they were all so friendly, looked happy to be there and stayed busy, which I loved seeing. The dining area was a little over half full with customers and the tables, floors and bathrooms were all so clean. Great fast friendly service. Because they're new and the food was decent, they get 3 stars but the service and wait time needs to improve or this place will flop. When I placed my order, there was a line behind me. They only had one register open even though there were at least 5 employees standing around doing nothing. The employees are young and lack basic customer service skills, like greeting people and smiling. No one told the line behind me "we'll be right with you" or anything like that. They were talking and being silly among each other. It took forever to place my order and the cashier got my 5 waters after taking my order - seems like it would have been useful to have someone else doing that while I wrapped up since the line was so long. It took 25 minutes to get our food. Again, employees standing around everywhere so not sure why. When the food came, the kids "toasties" were luke warm, at best. The adult entrees were incorrect but we were starving at this point so we didn't ask for them to fix it. They were out of tomato and cucumber salad as a side but we didn't know until 20 minutes after we ordered. There was a manager on site who didn't look very friendly or helpful, either. Overall, improvement is needed in customer service (friendliness, urgency, etc) and the speed in which you get your food. read more
