If I could put 0 stars I would the staff was hateful. Extremely rude after they threw our food at us. They gave us stale broken up tiny little pieces of chips.I paid $10 for that and if your gonna over charge I want REGULAR size chips that are not the bottom of the bag and stale. This McAlister's was good. We had carry out, a salad and a baked potato. The Baled Potato was a vegetable filling. It was HUGE. The salad was a chicken /avocado chipotle variety. Both were good and came out quickly. We asked for salt and pepper, we were given handfuls ( overkill). A fork was in the bag, no knife. Two containers of salad dressing, that was plenty. My e-gift card could not be used, they had no system to accept it, even though they are part of the Mileage Plus United system. This was extremely frustrating! I would go again or carry out again. It was about 8:00pm and they were cleaning one side and putting up chairs on the tables. If I were dining in, I would find that loud and annoying. Their hours were till 9:00pm. For those two annoying things I've given them a 3 star. Their food was good but nothing difficult or exceptional. Better than many fast food places. read more

McCallister's used to be the goto place for sandwiches in Russellville. Since the Covid scare it isn't the same. The sandwiches have a blob in the center of the bread, but pure crust on the edges. Seems like less meat and veggies too. Service is still fine, and the ambience is good. The portions and food preparation is lacking. Potato salad still delish. read more

McAlisters has awesome brewed tea. Things can get pricey for those with a big appetite. The Reuben and a side will set you back $9. The $3 side salad was sad and the lettuce looked old. Lettuce should always be thrown out if old. I had one request. No tomatoes in salad. And there they were. I stopped in at 4:15 pm and the place was empty. Service was good. Food came out quick. The food is overpriced for service you get. All the cashiers do is sit behind the counter on their phones and don't acknowledge you are there but when they do it's unpleasant. The food came out cold. When I told the tall young girl about it she complained about it the moment she got behind the counter to tell the other cashiers. Ate in Russellville, Arkansas. Had grandchildren with us and they loved soup in s bread bowl. Did not like the BLT. Not sure why. Turkey with black pepper sandwich was excellent. One of us had the Italian salad. Very good. Got food quick and was close to highway. Back on our journey. read more

We have always loved eating here and the service was always good and so was the food so you can imagine my surprise when we had such a horrible experience this time. We had ordered a chicken club but in a wrap. When the waitress brought our food it was a sandwich instead of a wrap. We mentioned to the waitress that it was supposed to be a wrap. She grabbed up the plate and took the chips from the plate and threw them on the table in front my husband and walked off without a word. I was in the line of sight of the kitchen were she went to the back and I could see all of them acting like we were the ones that did something wrong. When they brought out the food it was cold but we didn't say a word. I was then basically afraid to eat the food after they made such a big deal about it. A good spot you can count on. It's not out of this world but I've been to other locations & this one is a really good one. The food tastes fresh and of better quality than other fast food joints. The salads could be a little less iceberg. It's a good spot for lunch or dinner. I'm a liz lemon type when it comes to sandwiches, so I'm sure I'll be visiting this establishment often. read more
