This is an order at the counter and find a table deli. After ordering we had our food rather quickly. Service was good and done with a smile...always get points for that with me. I frequent this Deli occasionally. The corned beef sandwich brings me back to my midwestern roots. They are so good. Surprisingly the potato salad is top tier sprinkled with paprika for an added delight. The famous sweet tea is very good also. Placed a delivery order on McAlister's website. I requested it to be delivered at 12PM. The email said the driver is 1 minute away. 20 minutes later still no delivery. Then the email I received said this was delivered. I called McAlister and the lady I spoke to said to call the help # since the delivery was through door dash. I said OK what is that number. 623-290-8200. The number was not accepting calls at this time. So, I looked up the number on their website and put in a complaint. Since this location is privately owned only this store can get be a refund. So, I called this located again and I talk to a different lady. She said one moment while I can see what I can do. She gets back on the line and says my manager will call you back at 1 1:30PM -2PM today. It was 12:30PM at this time. I said, I can't just come in and get another order, willing to pick it up. She said that the manager is busy. This is lunch time, and they are slammed and unable to give us their full attention. They don't have time for this right now. I was shocked. I already paid for this and put my order in. I was calm and nice to them on the phone. I was not screaming or yelling. This is so unprofessional. I still have not received a call from the manager on top of this. I ended up calling up Door Dash and they were helpful and were able to contact the driver who was lost and since food was already cold, he brought food back to the restaurant. The door Dash rep. explained that he called the wrong number to try to let me know. The door dash rep. said they will call McAlister's and get our order redelivered however the McAlister's store told the DoorDash rep that they already gave me a refund. Well, I was not told this. I am not sure why McAlister's did not have time for me or even to tell me that I was refund. The food is great, but the management and customer service are not good. read more

I've eaten at McAlister's in the past (out of state location) and had a not so pleasant experience. I had lunch here a few weeks ago and I'm so glad to have given them another chance! It was a Sunday during lunch time and there was a group of 4 ahead of us. There was only one cashier so we waited a little more then 5 minutes to order. There was also 4 people in my party. We ordered one potato soup, one chicken tortilla soup, one broccoli cheddar soup, one big potato, one wrap, one cookie, a bag of chips, three drinks, and two sandwiches. The total was about $80. The cashier was the only one manning the front and I saw took cooks in the back. The line was only getting longer but she kept her composure. She was SO nice and friendly. She was also very patient. She gave us our number, our drinks, and our cookie. We sat down and waited for our food. The line was now longer, she was taking orders, and we also saw her running around dropping off orders. We waited about 10 minutes and she brought us our food. The food was really good and I really enjoyed the soups, they were nice and hot. The sandwiches were also a hit! They tasted fresh and had a lot of meat. The worker checked up on us a couple of times and I even saw her going around asking people if they needed anything and picking up dishes / tidying tables. Overall, I would so come back for more food. 5 stars for the food and 5 stars for the exceptional service we received from the worker that day! She is the best!! read more

We were completely unsure of what we were going to find in a deli in a strip mall, but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Out running errands with my aunt, we were ready for lunch. We thought we'd give McAlister's a try. Yum! I headed to the counter while she grabbed a table. The counter help was friendly and efficient. We ordered a Ruben sandwich (!) and the Spud Max. Wow! The food is fine; about what you'd expect from a mid-range deli. Problem is at this location it's incredibly awkward to order said food. Don't ever give your real name for your order if you want to visit more than once. The embarrassment starts at the door, when they yell your name across the restaurant as soon as you walk in. Then they'll loudly make assumptions about your order and talk about you right in front of you. "Alex likes his drink this way" or "Alex doesn't like that with his order". You'll hear your name at the end of every sentence while you order. Then, if you're not thoroughly red in the face already, they'll continue to talk about you loudly while you wait. They want you to know how hard they're working for you I guess. Finally, when you go up to get your order, it'll feel like your creepy spinster aunt grabbing your cheek to tell you how cute ya are and she could just eat you right up. And if you're really lucky, they might overcare. On a recent visit, the topic of the drink I wasn't ordering was raised by the same staff member no less than four times. I was there maybe eight minutes. So that's once every two minutes I'm being asked about a thing I'm not ordering. Would have been really fun were I eating in. I get being friendly, but this is so over the top as to be awkward and uncomfortable. It's a deli, not a nightclub; I don't expect nor want to be fawned over. Delicious Sandwiches and More This was my first visit to McAlister's and it has now become one of my favorite sandwich shops. On this visit I ordered the Club and a side of potato salad. My sandwich was loaded with moist lean turkey,ham, bacon, cheddar, Swiss, and the best tasting honey mustard. As much as I enjoyed my sandwich I really enjoyed the potato salad, with chunky potatoes, creamy mustard and egg dressing, ot was the best potato salad I've had in a very long time. I had the New Southwest Steak spud with mac & cheese, cucumber salad, broccoli c heddar soup, large signature ice tea & last but not least NY double chocolate cheesecake. The spud entree was top five I ever had with alot of succulent steak slices, cheddar cheese sour scream and the potato was huge-enough food for a whole day and only $12 is a great value. The mac & cheese was perfect-thick, creamy & delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was also a top five ever item for me! The NY double choc. cheesecake was rich, dense and super delicious. It satisfied my regular chocolate craving. Service by Manager Hector, counter staff Tara & Ryan was top 1% at any restaurant I've patronized. This restaurant is run extremely well! Not honoring the 99 Cent Kids Special - Overcharged - We will not be back. My wife and I took our (4) grandchildren here on 5/25/22 at app. 1:30 PM. Our daughter told us that kids meals are 99 cents with adult meals. The sign in their lobby advertised the same special (see below). Adults in our group ordered a salad and a Choose 2, plus (4) kids meals. Staff gave me a total of $54.35. I said there must be some mistake. She said, "No, we stopped the 99 cent kids special earlier this year". I was in shock and paid up. A few days later, I called and asked for a manager. I think her name was Alisa. I explained that this was an advertised special per a large sign in her lobby. She said she understood, but I would need to speak with the General Manager. She took my name and number. I've driven by McAlister's Deli so much that I just had to add it to my list of places to try. This location was very clean, bright, and inviting. I checked out the menu before arriving and settled on the King Club sandwich. Very tasty! I also got to try the chicken cordon bleu and it was also really good! The wait for our food was only a few minutes and everything tasted fresh! The staff seemed a bit uninterested or not present when taking our order, assuming it had been a long day, but that was the only downfall. Have lived down the street for forever and finally tried it for the first time. Not impressed! Got the pick 2. The half Reuben had great flavor but barely had any meat or kraut. The half Spud Max with added avocado, broccoli and jalapeños was burnt, tough and contained a piece of foil in it. They charged me $.75 just for the avocado and I barely got a bite! I showed up 5 min before my scheduled pickup and they had it done and sitting on a shelf. Was barely warm so not sure how long it was sitting for. I went for free tea day and had a half soup with half sandwich. My meal was about $10 after tax. The tea was great and my meal was delicious. All of the flavors went well together. The baked potato soup had some cheese and free onions in it. I just wish they had the potato and kale soup I have seen other McAlister's Delis offer. We only came to get a chicken noodle soup for our picky little daughter but they didn't have that specific soup on the menu so instead we got her a kids meal, which ended up being a terrific bargain. We got a french bread pizza, cheetos, a cookie, chocolate milk, stickers and a coloring book, all for under $5. We'll have to try something ourselves next time so we can update this review with a better perspective but a 3 year old gives them 5 stars if they counts for anything. The place was clean and they were enforcing social distancing with their tables and the worker was really friendly. Great vibe at the restaurant, made me feel very welcomed. We got lunch delivered from McAlister's and the food was really good. I like their "choose 2" option where you can order a combo of 2 of either a half sandwich, salad, spud, or soup. I got the broccoli cheddar soup (great flavor but a LOT of cheese on top. Wish it had more broccoli) and the spud max. I got my spud max without onions or sour cream and it was delicious. And for a "half" spud it was huge. The only thing I would not recommend is getting your food delivered. They charge you a $3.99 delivery fee but they hide another $4 in fees in the "taxes and fees" line too so you end up paying $8 plus tip to get your food delivered. If you're able to pick up your order I highly recommend getting food here but don't get it delivered. They did outsource our delivery to Door Dash on our order, which is fine but I don't like the shady hiding of the additional $4 fee on top of the $3.99 delivery fee. read more

Went here for lunch last week. I got the turkey club which was fresh and good! Could have had an extra slice of meat but it was still good. The cucumber salad was not exactly why I was expecting so I didn't eat mine. Not their fault I just was not expecting it to be in so much liquid. The staff were knowledgeable and nice. No wait and our sandwiches came out pretty quick. The place has GREAT A/C. Parking lot was busy but big. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because I think the place needs a deep cleaning.
