Always a solid menu with tons of options. Went in a weekend when it was packed and they were still pretty quick with the order. Watch out for the potato's and the amount of calories they have.

Great food and friendly staff. This is our go to spot before we see a movie. Lots of flavor choices for any picky eaters. Great sweet tea along with some other favorites. This place is always clean and well staffed. Kris helped us today and walked us through using the store app during our visit.

The service is amazing. The food is just so good and I recommend this place. My favorite is the smoky pepper jack turkey. My 2nd time to eat here my nana brought me an my brother it was his 1st time he loved it he was able to customize his sandwich his really picky but he loved it.

Yum! I recommend this one. Got Turkey sandwich, cucumber salad, potato soup. Fresh. Service was terrific and very attentive. A great deal for portion.

Sweet chipotle chicken sandwich with potato salad

The last time I went to McAlister's Deli that was when I used to live in Mississippi. I swear I didn't know Texas had one until I saw this location near my house. This place was packed with kids running all over the walls, parents screaming at their kids, and people who love to stare at you. The cashier had a sarcastic attitude and acted as if he didn't wanna be there. Now, the food was pretty decent except it isn't cheap. The sandwiches were $7+; for two people my total was about $20. I ordered the Sweet Chipotle Chicken sandwich and wow it was amazingly good. As I bit into it, I could taste a tangy sweet sauce blended with chicken breast pieces, oh and the bread was soft. My significant other ordered a chicken salad sandwich and he said that it was delicious too. Our sides were mustard potato salad and mashed potatoes. My mustard potato salad tasted like it was store bought. I am pretty sure it was store bought and I don't mind about that. There really wasn't anywhere to sit unless you really wanna sit near some rude kids and their obnoxious parents, so my significant other and I sat at the back table near the restroom. It really wouldn't have been my first choice, but I didn't really have a choice. The guy who brought us our food said, "Wow, its nice that yall were able to find seating." The cookies are pretty good and they big too. I really can't say that I will be back. Just the fact that this place was packed with noisy kids really turned me off. I might just stick to the one in Mississippi where most of my high school peeps work at.

If you come here please try the CHICKEN and DUMPLINGS!!!! So good! We normally get it with the bread bowl. Honestly we never come here just to eat sandwich or anything else. We only set foot in here for the chicken and dumplings! Lol. Today we also got the "just a spud" which is actually two potatoes with melted cheddar on top that comes with sour cream. I mean it's a spud with cheese. Can't go wrong I got the ham and cheese toastie. Very good. Melted together with ham and cheese and tomatoes. Comes with a cold slice pickle. Take a bite of the pickle followed by the sandwich and yummmm. Mac and cheese as the side.... not crazy about it. Got their famous tea unsweetened with a pump of peach flavoring. I'd say it's good. I mean anything is better than southern tea. At least I don't feel guilty of sugar overload with this one.

Andy himself has been at the counter during my couple of spots and makes an effort to have a real conversation which is so nice. There's plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your meal or take it to go.

Fat Andy's -- First Visit Review…read more Fat Andy's has taken to social media to promote their product, and the posts feature Andrew, who must be our very own Fat Andy. We decided to take an early lunch and head over to Santa Fe to give the place a go. The establishment presents as clean and friendly, with a bit of an unfinished, "there is more to come" vibe. It feels like a good startup should. Andy was manning the counter and seemed to genuinely enjoy engaging with customers as they ordered. He pointed out the specials a few times as we grazed the menu selections. The hot pastrami had its very own sign, so I took that as a sign. I like a good pastrami. We picked out a table and waited for our food. After a short while, we heard our name called and I retrieved the wrapped sandwiches. The missus had the half turkey, and I went with the full-size hot pastrami. Now, before I go too far, my first instinct was to order the monster signature sandwich called "The Fat Andy." I did have that pang of guilt at first, thinking I really didn't want to be Fat Jeff anymore, so I thought better of it. The sandwiches were good. The ingredients were fresh, the lettuce was crisp, and the peppers on my pastrami were absolutely a winner. No disappointment there at all. The portions were healthy, and the side of pasta I chose was spot on with its mix of ingredients and the tang of the dressing. The sandwich bread, or hoagie rolls, were solid and appeared to be fresh. All of that being said, we found Fat Andy's to be a good value. For some critique -- and I go back to not ordering the signature sandwich, which looked from the menu description to have some special touches -- the sandwiches we ordered on this first visit were made with the same type of ingredients one can buy at most deli counters featuring Boar's Head products. The bread was good, but not fancy, and did not seem to contain anything especially unique that made it feel like a signature sandwich experience. Now don't get me wrong. Even with great ingredients, there is skill in putting together a good sandwich, so I am not discounting them on where they source their products. But a true deli sandwich experience requires something that makes the place stand out just a little. Aside from the great personality Andy brings to his customers, the sandwiches on this trip did not make me feel like they stood above most other good deli sandwiches. That said, I live a very short drive from Andy's, and I hope to watch it grow. I also hope to experience more of the fun Andy seems to be having by sharing his food and his creations with the community. I encourage everyone to give Andy a shout and tell him Jeff sent you. And next time, I'm going in for the Fat Jeff... Uhh, I meant to say "The Fat Andy."

Sub was good, not as great as the Texas city location, but still a quality sub. The issue was the service. Never have I ever experienced such rudeness from staff. Walking in (again, for the first time) I am greeted with a "what do you want" yell. I thought he was joking or messing around at first, but no, dude was serious. I give my order and try to pay. Another yell from him "you pay after you eat" ok, that works, too. All the while, the two other guys on duty are groaning about not having enough time to prepare for the day, complaining about customers on Saturdays, and more. I'm all for hole in the wall, simple no frills dining, but this place had an overall terrible, terrible vibe. I finish eating and go to pay. Guy barks orders at me on how to tap my card. I try different attempts, finally the card reader shows an error. Dude yells at me "LISTEN, OR THAT WILL HAPPEN". Turns out, his WiFi network wasn't on the whole time. Upon discovering this, in his defense he did apologize - but cmon dude. Shouldn't ever treat a customer like that. I slide my card and it works first try, after he turned the WiFi network on. I bumped my tip down from 22% to 18% and walked out. As I exit, I hear grumbles of complaints coming from the dude. Serious disappointment here. Never returning. I hate for one location to taint the other, but I can't say this makes me want to revisit my beloved Texas city location by my house any more, either.

I chose Durb's based on the great reviews and the fact that my brother had always wanted to visit. My wife and I both ordered smash burgers - she opted for tots, I went with mozzarella sticks. The sides were both perfectly standard, but the burgers were anything but. The difference between these smash burgers and most is that these were real thick boys. I was kind of shocked how much food this was. The sauce was great, but I was already full around the halfway point of the burger. I don't say this to complain, but my favorite smash burgers are usually lighter than a normal burger. This was anything but. We ate these at 1:30pm and I didn't need to eat again the rest of the day. I finished with a pistachio cake slice and enjoyed that probably more than the burger. Cool concept! I'd love to come back again, especially to try today's special, which was a Chicago dog burger. But for visit #1, I wanted to stick with what they are famous for.

It's really hard for me to write this review & I'm teetering between 2 & 3 stars, BUT kindness goes…read morea long way with me so I'm giving 3. I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.
