Ordered the Deluxe Original. I loved that it came out like something you would see on TV - picture perfect!! Lots of meat, just right combination of veggies and assembled with care! Went thru the drive thru on a rainy Tuesday at lunch so I cant comment on the interior. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered a medium size rueben meal and the sandwhich was just fantastic. Packed with meat and not drowning in sauce. Less than $15 for the deal it is a better value than many things these days. I would definitely return. read more

This location is awful. The bread was hard and tough- obviously stale. Hardly any meat on the sandwich. This is the second time I have been served an old meatless sandwich and will not be returning ever. The owners need to do some serious revamping or they will be closed very soon. Schlotzsky always better than most sandwich places... they will make sandwich with add ons or change up to your likes! I do no cheeses and extra olives and mustard so they always get it right and then add black pepper potatoes chips and what a fantastic meal ... ask also for the slice of kosher pickle as always came with and some try yo not place anymore... if they don't then find one that still honors that... enjoy! read more

It use to be out go to place. But last 2 times we've ordered, the food was gross. The bread was stale and tasted really old. The roast beef was cut way too thick and it was all fat with a lot of gristle that you simply couldn't chew through. Don't think I'll be ordering food from here again. read more

I would skip this place altogether. We went for a Cinnabon and it was dry and hard. I hate it when they are like that threw most of it away. I went last week for a schlotzsky's original and the olives were overpowering the whole sandwich. It didnt taste very good. The service is always slow at this location and I think it's odd to have a sign saying "check your order before driving away" like if they mess up your order and you dont check it, you're out of luck Chuck lol. The prices have gone way up. My sandwich was 7 or 8 dollars and my cinnamon roll was 4. Too many better places around to go here again... read more

This is my favorite chain sandwich shop in the Houston area, which I have frequented in various locations over the years. I particularly like the sour bread sandwiches but also have had their version is pizza in the past. I would probably go their more often if there was a location relatively close to work but I do hit this location occasionally on the way home from work. For a while, we went to a location in another area of Houston each time my in laws came to town; it was a good, inexpensive meal when we did not feel like cooking at home. I have been going to this location though since it opened and always have found the people to be nice and the restaurant to be clean. No major issues ever experienced here. Why?!..........(Voice trembling, hands clasped, eyes towards heaven.) WHY must they make their sandwiches so perfect every time at any location? Why? If they could just fail every now and then and disappoint me. I could skip the Turkey Original-Style with smoked turkey breast and Genoa salami with melted cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses layered with black olives, lettuce, tomato and red onion with light mayonnaise and signature dressing on toasted Sourdough bread at least some of the time. The corners and surfaces of the round sourdough bread are crispy on the outside and the inner layers have a perfect level of sponginess (Is that a word?). The just right combination of premium meats and cheeses are only improved with Schlotzsky's Louisiana Hot Sauce. My car seems to navigate itself into the parking lot. Was that a funeral procession I just cut through? Sorry. My eyes were fixated on Schlotzsky's. I refuse to look at the Nutrition page of their website. I simply do not want to know how many calories are in a Schlotzsky's sandwich. (I ruined my pleasure from Hunan Beef by doing that.) Funny name, serious sandwich. Pretty much sums up Schlotzsky's. Every time I visit the location in League City, I get a medium sized "The Original", and a Salt & Vinegar Chip Bag. The perfect combo, along with an ice cold soda. The service is excellent, and everyone seems to be happy to work there. The sandwich is superb, and it all seems to fit together nicely in a large bun, and its one of those sandwiches where you don't want ANYTHING to fall out. This was the second time I tried schlotzkys and I really liked it. The first time I swore I would never eat here again. I like that they sell cinnabons in some locations. We got one to share at home, yum! I ordered a chicken caesar salad which was a pretty decent size and good. My husband had a turkey sandwich which was also good. I know what Hilary is talking about (see her comment immediately below mine) when she says she wants to marry her sandwich. To be clear, I'm happily married to my wife, but hold the Original Schlotzsky sandwich in very high esteem. Though the ingredients for all of their sandwiches are typical of a sandwich shop (a variety of cold cuts, some cheeses, veggie fillers and fresh-baked bread), there is something that Schlotzsky's does that makes their sandwich rise above the rest, and I'm not talking about the yeast. Perhaps it's because their bread is unique, or maybe they get their cold cuts from a "boutique" butchery--yes, I said "boutique." I don't know for sure. Whatever it is, it's fantastic. Though, I like sandwiches from Panera Bread and Subway, they're just not as good as a Schlotzsky sandwich. "I like'em lotz!" NOTE: Other Schlotzsky's don't keep their dining area as clean as they should, NOT the case for this one on FM 270 in League City. read more
