We're in town visiting and had a windshield full of insect carcasses from the drive. Shelia, who was working the entrance, walked me through the options and how everything (coffee bar, wash, vacuum) worked. It was such a fun experience and the car came out SPOTLESS! After the wash, I stopped briefly at the vacuuming station, but noticed there were separate detailing stations available. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely consider a membership. read more

We set up a plan in their app. Paid for and tried to use it and it let us in but no car wash. Twice. On the third attempt we were told they no longer sell that plan. I got it in 5/9/26. It's 5/23/26. We had to upgrade to a new plan to get all the dried soap off. And then they still charged me an additional $5.00. It should have been free considering they just sold me the plan a few days ago. dropped my car for a much needed detail. The eta was between 45-90 for the middle package called Shine. Got it back about 2 hours after dropping it off and they did a very good job. All my leather is nice and clean and looks new. Got all the dog hair out of my carpet. They did a good job and it was pretty easy dropping off and picking up my car. read more

I sat there for an hour waiting for my car to be detailed only to watch two boys dance and have me pull into a bay and dance more and did nothing then told me I could vacuum my car myself for free outside. I'm disabled and wearing an actual heart device they could see. they were rude as I can state without being crude. would never recommend. read more

Not good. Website says open until 8pm. Perfect but when u arrive at 6:58pm and cones are out due to u being closed is not good. Spending money to keep vehicles clean and not open but yet we pay u to clean. U close we drive dirty car due to u not staying open until hours that are posted is an issue. People work different hours so we can't always make ur hours but hours posted should be abided by since we pay u for the service. Made an appointment for a detail yesterday. I signed up for the works since I've never done one before. Matthew was the manager who greeted me - a friendly and polite young man. He texted me a couple hours later to let me know it was all done. What a difference! The inside of my Ford Maverick looked brand new! Since I haven't had a detail before I don't have pricing to compare to but I spent $100. I do not have time to do a deep clean and polish myself so it was well worth the money. I went for a free carwash, and found out the next day the grill under my front headlight was missing. Thought I might as well just see if it was at McBees since I only had one other stop after the carwash. On their website, I completed their contact form, and sure enough the next morning the manager called to tell me the found the grill. I went up to retrieve the part since he said there was no damage, but there was. I filled out a claim form, and pictures were taken of my car. There was a dent in the area, but I told the manager I was not concerned about the small dent. I had already went to get an estimate to replace the grill, approx. $150, and manager said he could pop the grill back in. I declined. He said I should get a second opinion, and I pointed out the damage on the grill, and had also looked up how to replace the piece on my 2018 Honda Pilot. Since filling out the claim, I have sent 2 emails, along with filling out online form, to Mc Bees and not a response! I want documentation, so I refuse to call. Why can they just not respond after it being a month since the claim? I had won some free car washes from Mc Bees, and have promptly returned them. A little more pricey then some car washes but the cost does include a cup of coffee and vacuums. The car wash also does a good job of cleaning and for the most part drying your car. Another thing I like about this car wash is with the vacuums they have an air hose to dry your wheels and other hard areas the dryer and the wash misses. read more

Just had my truck washed Sunday 10/01 and the top from the front to back was not even touched but heard a grinding noise on the roof! Found roof paint Chewed up today (Wednesday) after washing it myself and now I Have to deal with that expense for a supposed free car wash! Tell me they don't know they had a problem with their equipment malfunctioning!!! Also, Barcode for wash wouldn't scan and attendant had to come out and the entrance is like a maze with narrow lanes! I've been coming to McBee's for a while now. They are pretty comparable to other car washes similar to what they offer. Their tire shine ABSOLUTELY sucks. They do allow you to come inside and they will hand apply tire shine, but if you're in a hurry, you're screwed. I've used the detail services once and I will never use them again. I was quoted 30 minutes and I'm going on hour 2. I know staffing in general can be tough so I didn't complain, but this is absolutely insane. Use the detail services at your own risk. The dog wash is great for warm days. read more

I bought a membership on the first day for my LX 570 at first I was happy, until I notice that my car wasn't very clean in the back, the kid that worked there made up all kinds of excuses. I signed up our other vehicle 2023 Audi until that wasn't cleaning to my expectations. We canceled the membership with the Audi after being charged twice a month for 1 vehicle. The LX was a little bigger not to have a cleaning membership, I figured I could live with the results until I couldn't. I decided to clean my car myself and notice that the drivers side running board had two gouges exact same size right next to one another, along with a few scratches. I remembered when it happened, while I was in the carwash and didn't think that it had damaged, I was thinking the brush just pushed my vehicle and didn't actually damage it. When I brought the damage to the managers attention, because it was about 2 weeks after the fact, he pretty much dismissed my discovery. All I was trying to do was to make him aware of the wash arm issue, my possibly have a problem with the stop kit or eye of the big brush, causing the brush to slam into my car. Another problem is, the vehicles run on a conveyer belt vs a track, if you pull in a little to the left and not exact center you take a risk of damaging your vehicle. My intention of coming forward was to make McBees aware of the problem, instead I was treated disrespectful!! I never asked for anything other than check out the problem with the arm of the brush to prevent other peoples vehicle from being damage. read more

The Smithville McBee is not a good car wash. My car is usually very wet when I leave. Sometimes I have to run the wipers just to see my way out. Last night, I still had bugs stuck to my windshield when I left. I don't plan to use it again. read more

The mcbee's car wash in Liberty Missouri I was in there on the 29th to get my car washed none of the rags that you exchange were clean they wanted to give me another one but it was a different color it was a red it was a solid red wasn't even a McNeese one and the kids the boy and the girl look like they're in high school and they act like they didn't even want to avoid act like he didn't want to be there he didn't have a very friendly tone and does customer service was very yet to be desired! And I let the person cuz I also had a coffee with it I'll let the other young man know about it and I told him that I would like to have those two employees in the form of I guess high school kids talked to by manager I don't know as to whether or not the kid went and told the manager but it's not right they act the kid acted as if he was paying me when it's the other way around that's the attitude that he had and he acted like he didn't want to be there it was around 3:00 in the afternoon on Sunday the 29th of September 2024 I believe Steve really needs to make sure that he has store managers that are really watching their employees because they can really cost mcbees and Steve money real quickly if the customers are not getting what they feel like they're paying for it as far as quality,! And my name is Danny Moore I've been doing business with me please for probably now 2 years a little bit over 2 years never had a problem with them regarding the customer service and you get a free coffee what car wash do you know of that gives you free coffee just for being a customer and that should be all the more reason because with the prices of coffee that are out there today! And there's no other place that I can think of to get a car washed that gives you free coffee it is a fabulous place with the exception of the one in Liberty where I've been told and I guess I experienced it the snootiness at the attitude of the younger ones that work there and if they treated me that way there's no telling how many other customers they've treated that way one thing that needs to be instilled in employees of not just make these but all companies and that is who the real boss is that they're working for the whole company from the CEO all the way down is working for one box and that one bus is the customer and like Sam Walton said that started Walmart that the customer can fire everyone from the CEO all the way down just by doing a very very simple function! And that is spending their money somewhere else! Because a customer will go somewhere pay a little bit more to get treated a little bit better then pay a little bit less and get treated really badly so please keep that in mind that the customer is the boss now there are some people you're not ever going to make happy but I mean my experience prior to Sunday was always good and always had been good with mcbe es when that kid offered me the red rag and he said that they give me another one but I wanted to make these blue one so I asked him for it back the Blue rag that I'd give it to them to be exchange for another blue one they should have their acting gear when it comes to customers and be prepared with the supplies that the customers need because even the customers that are on the lowest totem pole of the membership still need to be treated well and they must always be in stock as far as the supplies especially if the customers pay for that service on that supply and with the mcbe's name logo on it not some just solid color I want to believe that it probably wasn't the employee as much as it was a management that didn't make sure that there was more of a stock of the blue cloths availabl! read more

PAINT DAMAGES - POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION. The whole point is, any automated equipment will fail, it's just a matter of when - saying from years of experience in automation and robotics. The sensors, pumps, bearings, filters and even programs will fail and any these will damage costumer vehicles. This happened to me in McBee Carwash in Liberty MO and they never sent a 3rd party insurance evaluator to do an honest evaluation of the damages but instead they let the person who is in charge of overseeing the maintenance and operation of the machine to solely conduct his own investigation. And as expected he did whatever it takes to keep his job. A good service is not only based when things are doing okay but also how fair they handle their costumers when they face challenges. Incident: I am a satisfied member of McBee Car Wash in Liberty MO for several months with 3 vehicles on a monthly plan until 1/27/24, Saturday, around 3:20PM. I came in with my BMW. In front of me was kind of a blue/gray Jeep pickup truck covered with mud (Behind me was a white pick-up truck). At first, I was apprehensive going in but since a young employee at the entrance let the jeep in I thought to myself they should have a good brush rinsing system in between vehicles. After the wash I went to the vacuum parking spot while the other two vehicles (Jeep pickup truck and white truck) went straight out. I was then shocked to see the damages on the paint of my car. I called a couple of employees to look at it which they did and then asked me to drive it to the detailing room for further inspection. They then asked me to go to the office area to wait for their manager. I was very frustrated, and I see that the two employees felt sorry for me. However, a young manager (probably in mid-twenties, I will not mention his name) came out of the room already have a poker face, non-apologetic at all and it seems he already made a decision. Anyhow, I told him what happened and asked him to review their videos footage from their camera. He then went to see the car, did his 40 seconds evaluation and told me I will be contacted within 48 hr.. As usual in an accident I was waiting and expecting that he will send an insurance investigator to do a 3rd party evaluation. After 5 days I called and sent email to McBee for a couple of times since no one had reached out to me. It was then that the same person/manager called me back telling me that he is denying the claim because my car is a 2011 model which is old. I even told him that I can show receipt that a significant paint job was done by Chevy just across the street 10 months ago. I asked him if I can talk to the owner and he said that he is one of the owner and there's nothing that he can do. I immediately remove all my 3 cars, showed the damages of my car to several close friends and families and they too have moved out of McBee Liberty. What do you think of this business practice - no 3rd party investigator, the evaluation will be done by the person who was driving the shop during the accident and he will make sure he will keep his job?
