A customer asks for help and the girl tells him no. He asked why not and she very curtly replied, "that's none of your business." She immediately followed that up with "I don't work here," so the man asked, "why are you behind the counter?" And she replied, "cause I can be." Turns out her mom works at that location and was present for the entire exchange. The mom/employee never once corrected her daughter or, more importantly, apologized for her daughter's behavior. It's shameful when employees mistreat customers, but it is a grave disservice when employees allow their children to disrespect guests. Your District Heights customers deserve better than that. Bad form, Auto Zone!

I've been back several times in recent months and this NAPA is back on the list of highly-acceptable options when buying parts. The folks behind the counter are polite, knowledgeable, and as fast as the customer in front of you will allow. Kudos to the current store manager for making this a place I want to go to again! It's still a NAPA, therefore most of what you want is behind the counter and this just isn't like the consumer-centric sort of autoparts store where you can browse the isles for bling, this get your parts and get back to fixin' stuff centric, so if you are looking for license plate frames, decals, and stuff to hang from the mirror, drive past and stop holding up the line!
