She asked if I wanted the nail straight across and flat, I said no I would like it rounded a bit. I assumed the acrylic was the cause so Monday I went to have them remove the false nail and a fungus had set up under my nail bed. The lady put something anti fungal stuff on it. That's all. Chemical Burn After Keratin Treatment- No Accountability!…read more On August 7, 2025, I received a keratin treatment from Daisy at this salon which my hair came out nicely. Unfortunately, I ended up with a painful second-degree chemical burn on my neck after the treatment. When I informed Lisa (owner), I was met with a dismissive attitude. She denied the possibility that the product could cause a chemical burn, claimed it was "not a chemical," and told me to contact the manufacturer instead. I explored the possibility that relaxer on the cape or towel from previous customer could have caused burn. She said she would review camera footage and get back to me. After follow-up she refused to admit or apologize for their mistake and no refund granted. She offered a gift card for future service which, is unrealistic especially traveling 3 hours round trip to get there. I am not sure what product /chemical caused burn. The lack of accountability and concern for client safety was extremely disappointing.
