I chose a day for installation when Kris was going to be out of town on vacation so he let me decide if we wait to wait until he got back or if we wanted him to send his right hand man Daniel. We went with Daniel who showed up right on time on a cold morning. I thought removing the old badly cracked panes of glass would be very difficult. I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. They only removed one window at a time and our house never got cold on a 33 degree day This was one of the best customer experiences for a project I have ever had. I chose EV Windows after asking CharGBT to find me a great window company with very good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do not have one negative thing to say. Needless to say, the roof, deck and the siding of my house took a severe beating. I heard about Randall from a friend, so I gave them a ring and the owner, Ed, handled everything from the beginning like a pro. He came to my house and met with my State Farm claims representative when they came out to inspect the damage, which really put my mind at ease because I know insurance companies can be shady about what they cover. Thankfully, they determined that my whole house was totaled so there was no back and forth over that. Because my roof wasn't leaking, I asked Ed if we could hold off on doing all of the work until spring when I was sure no more hail storms would be blowing through, and he was incredibly accommodating and allowed me to schedule the work for mid-March. His actual team that did the work was awesome, especially Tito. Ed took care of all dealings with the insurance company, which was so appreciated since I'm a new homeowner and frankly had no idea what I was doing. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

He suggested that we should invest in a better quality door without a frame so that it would be easy to clean and aesthetically more pleasing to look at. I agree'd with him as we were so tired of the lesser quality door consistently getting dirty and the frame was always an issue to keep clean. Warren took some measurements and ordered a custom door for us that was affordable and looks so nice!
