We brought our RV in for service last year. They stole our water pump. The pump had been working perfectly fine but they told us it was failing and that they replaced the water pump for "free". They didn't put it on the invoice and told us not to mention it. Since then the new water pump doesn't hold pressure and fails constantly. But since there is no record of them switching out the water pump we can't do anything about it. Super shady thieves! read more

I tried this RV center service department for the first time, in January of this year. I needed repairs on my 5th-wheel trailer. The awning had been bent in a wind storm, the rooftop A/C units weren't working, my electric heat on my water heater wasn't working and I needed a pre-season check up on my trailer before camping. I came in also because of a 10% discount coupon on parts and labor. I forgot to drop off the coupon when I delivered the trailer. When I realized this I called the service department and was told it was OK to bring it in when I picked up the trailer. McCord ordered parts for my awning, determined my A-C units were fine and I just needed new thermostats. They replaced the electric switch on my water heater, and made other minor repairs. I am very pleased with the repairs. HOWEVER, I forgot to bring my coupon out of my truck and present it when I picked up the trailer and paid the full amount for the repairs. ONLY right afterwards as driving home with the trailer, did I remember again that I didn't present the coupon. I rushed back and spoke to the service department representative. He tried, but said I was too late and couldn't get the discount because it wasn't presented before charging the final invoice. SUCH FRUSTRATION and LOSS OF SAVINGS because I didn't get the coupon to them in time. That's the only sour thing about my experience. I figure I lost over $200.00 because of that. UPDATE!! McCord's Service Department just called and they just figured out how to rectify my problem and refund the coupon value back to me. Will never never use the service department again!!!! Had the roof and seals inspected 12/6/24 and was told they were good and didn't need resealing. Here we are in March and another rv service department has found cracks and a lot of water damage to my driver side slide. This is going to cost me well over $3000!!! This all could have been prevented by a reseal if it was needed. And they won't stand by this inspection. DONT USE RUN AWAY FAST!!! read more

I've taken my car here for a check engine light twice this month and also gotten my car inspected here about a year or two ago. i appreciate their ability to handle the amount of customers even though they're not that big of a shop. 5 stars to the front desk guy Ben for being super kind/helfpul. The staff seem to have good communication between one another and with their customers since ive seen the customers leave in a decent mood. The waiting room is a little run down but that's to be expected. I don't know if I've got the most in depth experience in order to provide an in depth review but if anything goes on with my car i will probably take it back here based on past experiences :) read more

We went to look at a 2018 fifth wheel, looked at two while we were there. Sales person was very friendly. The RVs were in really rough shape for being 2017 and 2018 models, especially selling by Vancouver Toyota. Owner should take some time to detail and clean these units before selling like they do with their cars and trucks. Disappointed to see how dirty they were, chipped up areas, one the closet door was pulled away. They did have new RVs on the lot, but not what we are in the market for. read more

The parts department is an awesome team. Me and kids were out to their parts center multiple times prior to memorial weekend and the staff helped me get the parts I needed to get my trailer going. This even involved pulling a wire harness from their own trailer and giving it to me because the part I needed was on back order. You don't see this around anymore. Always had great service there for parts. Employees are always friendly have had a shop employee walk into the parts area and assist in helping me find what I was looking for and give advice. Have not had any repair work completed so I cannot review the repair center but if it's anything like the parts supply, they would be a two thumbs up. read more

He was fair with his price (I knew it was an expensive fix) and I felt very honest, which I appreciate that and will definitely be back when I need a repair. Don't buy the extended warranty! First, the good news. Tom Lewis was very helpful, honest, and listened to what we wanted and what we wanted to spend. He also helped us up make a few changes to our new travel trailer, so that we could have most of the things that we needed. We haven't had any problems with our trailer and the Vancouver RV sales process was easy and enjoyable. We were able to get a great price on a wonderful travel trailer. Now the bad news... We decided to finance our trailer long term. But we were more concerned about what we owe, not how much the payments were. In the finance office of McCord Toyota (this is who owns Vancouver RV), we were offered an extended warranty. I was interested in the details of this add-on. What I found out was that the extended warranty would not cover everything in our trailer, but the warranty would cost an additional 13% of our purchase price or $4000 more! The ESP (Extended Service Plan) is a total rip-off and angered me that they could even offer such an overpriced piece of garbage after how well the sales department treated us. This is one thing that Camping world does to inflate their sales. I expected McCord to be better than that. For this, I took one star off. Aside from the issue in financing, our experience with Tom Lewis and Roger Kostman at Vancouver RV was honest. read more

I have bought an RV from them before and it was a great experience. But when it was time to upgrade they did not carry the model i wanted. So unfortunately i had to buy from another dealer. I had some warranty issues and the selling dealer just could not get it done. I contacted the manufacture and they gave me authorization to go to another dealer. In most cases an RV dealer will not do warranty repairs on RV's they do not sell. I contacted the service manager Rod and explained the situation and he agreed to help me out. I had already had a good experience with their service before so I was excited to finally get my repairs done. Trisha checked me in and assured me they could get it fixed. they did everything I needed, and it was a bit of a list. the communication was great, and the service and repair was more than i could ask for. Last year my wife and I purchased a camper trailer from Vancouver RV. We made sure the sales person knew our intentions of staying in the desert with kids and how air conditioner was a must. When taking delivery the trailer did not have an air conditioner unit. They realized, after a long discussion that they made a mistake and ended up putting one in that day. We were lucky they had one in the shop. These AC units come with a heater switch. The heater does not work with the unit they installed on my trailer. That makes me wonder if they installed a used AC unit in my brand new trailer. I also bought a service package from them during the initial sale (them being Vancouver RV). My family and I were out of state when the cell switch on the furnace malfunctioned. We also had an issue with the water pump not working (turns out there were plastic flex-pipe shavings clogging up the pump). The bill to fix these warrantied issues was well over $500. When we returned home we dropped the trailer off at their service center. They confused the parts that needed to be serviced multiple times. Finally, seeming that they got it right and fixed all the issues, we picked up the camper. We Immediately noticed some things STILL weren't fixed- like the ac unit heater switch. I submitted the receipt from the $500+ bill from our road trip to Tom after finally getting a chance to speak to him on the phone. Tom assured me that he was going to get right on it and apologized for any lag on their part with assisting us. After six weeks, I have still not heard back from him. How am I going to use my warranty if no one there will take any responsibility or even communicate with me? As of now I am in the process of buying a bigger camper trailer (from a different dealership). There are financial questions Tom said he would get answered, but again I have not heard back from him. I don't usually write reviews, unless the service was either exemplary or incredibly bad. Vancouver RV was exemplary in their recent warranty repair on our brand new 5th wheel. we recently bought our dream 2022 Forest River 36 FL wildwood heritage glen elite in Meridian Idaho (Bish's) after searching throughout the PNW for the best price on our floorplan. Shortly after purchase and arriving home in Battle Ground, WA (7 hours drive to Meridian) our refrigerator went out. We contacted Forest River and had a mobile tech come out and take a look. He determined the fridge was bad and to "argue" with Forest River to replace the entire fridge instead of "throwing parts at it". I agreed, but was bummed I would have to start fighting red tape and roadblocks to get a new fridge. We contacted Forest River and the agreed to provide us a new fridge, strangely without any argument. They sent us a list of local RV repair shops for us to take it to, Vancouver RV Center being one of the shops....My first thought was "this was my worst nightmare." I'm going to have to take it to a place that I didn't purchase it from, and they're going to put me last on the list, putting their own customers first. I came to that conclusion after reading forums about other people who have had to have warranty work done on their RV from a place they didn't buy it from. I was worried I would have to take it somewhere and wait weeks or months for the work to be done. We contacted Vancouver RV Center and talked with Trisha Smith who then worked directly with Forest River to get my fridge shipped, keeping me in the loop the entire time. Trisha contacted us a few day later and told us our fridge had been shipped by ground and should arrive in 3-5 days. She then took the initiative to schedule us an appointment for the anticipated arrival. The fridge arrived on schedule and the work was done in 2 days, in addition to additional warranty!!! we picked up our 5th wheel yesterday and are heading out tomorrow to enjoy it. From the time the mobile tech told us "you need a new fridge" to the time we picked it up with a new fridge installed by Vancouver RV Center was just over 3 weeks, start to finish....and the only reason it took that long was because Forest River had to approve the fridge, Dometic had to ship it, and then cross country ground freight. Asked the salesman if there was any water damage or soft spots. He said they won't sell anything with that kind of damage. Well I found a couple soft spots and obvious water marks running down on the inside. Then he claimed the leaks were fixed and it's good to go. No signs of new sealant around the area. I stop by here to look at RVs as we were considering buying a trailer. The staff or at least the salesman that we dealt with was very knowledgeable in products and had a lot of great advice on what things to look for in a trailer as we've had truck campers for the last 10 or 15 years. We put a $500 deposit on a trailer then made plans to see the trailer. We drove 3 hours each way to see the trailer, made and offer. Then we were told the price had gone up $2000 from the originalpricewe were quoted! This was never mentioned to us between the time we made the deposit and went to see the trailer! I find this to be POOR BUSINESS, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND DISHONEST. Don't do business with this company!! The manager is not honest, not forthcoming. Sure, we were told after the fact our deposit only held the trailer for 7 days. But beware, they will change the price whenever suits them. read more

Very disappointed in my interaction with this company. Visited them on a weekend to look at a kayak trailer. The very nice older gentleman who worked there didn't know where the trailers were on the lot or the difference in the three styles of trailer. Spent some time walking around with him tracking down where they were. When asked questions about the trailer and what is included with it, he didn't know and it took him a while to find papers about the trailer then still wasn't sure which one he was looking up, and in the end didn't know what was included. He then told me if I was interested in buying that he'd sure appreciate it if I could come back during the week when they'd have people who could get the trailer out and get it ready. I told him I drove 90 minutes to get there. He apologized and said he just didnt have anyone that could help during the weekend, which seemed backwards to me. He gave me the price of the trailer and I confirmed this was the same price listed on the manufacturers website. I called yesterday to order it, and he told me it was $200 more than he told me two weeks ago and 'checked with his manager' as well. At this point I had lost what little trust I had in this company, and bought the trailer directly from the manufacturer. Even with their freight fee it would have been the same amount in the end after they 'added' the $200. I suggest anyone looking for a pull behind RV or kayak trailer, keep looking for a place that is better staffed, with knowledgable staff who don't have changes in pricing. read more

Had very bad experience. Drove off with an travel trailer, paid down payment, signed the financial contract only to get a call in two weeks saying they gave me the loan that could not be approved for since I don't live or work in Oregon. After we got them a proof that we do work in Oregon they said that was not enough. Long story short he kept saying to either raise our interest or make bigger payments. After all we brought the trailer back and have not shopped for another one since than. We did get our request for credit in the mail for higher amount than was requested. Had very bad first time buying experience. Would not reccomend anyone to go thru that. We lost money on reservations we made and parking, insurance that we already paid and the disappointment on the kids faces when we had to explain that we are taking it back and they had to take their toys back to the house. read more

Steer clear of this company!!! Sold us a brand new trailer full of water damage. Their so called repair shops brilliant idea to fix the floors was to peel back the flooring and sand down the swollen rotten floors. When we told them that that was unacceptable they lied to us and claimed that they would get ahold of the manufacturer Pacific Coachworks by the way steer clear of them too! They told us to use the trailer in the meantime. Our first trip out the window valance and the bottom of the cupboard fell off and punctured a chair. Months go by and they kept telling us not to worry that this would all be ok and we would be taken care of after 4 months we decided to call the manufacturer ourselves they called back within a half an hour they told us to take it to a shop and get an estimate. The estimate we got told Pacific Coachworks that the trailer was totaled that it needed to be tore apart and rebuilt from the frame up. That the fiberglass sides were delaminating and that the walls were cut to short so they were pulling away from the coach. Vancouver rv center and Pacific Coachworks made a deal behind our backs to cut the rot out and piece our trailers floor back together. We told rv center this was unacceptable we paid for a brand new trailer and expect a quality trailer. So they sent it back to California to be tore down and fixed correctly. We think the nightmare is over... we were so wrong! The trailer comes back from the manufacturer the fiberglass sides were fixed. Feeling hopeful we go inside only to find the chair they replaced ours with looks like it came out of a dumpster and the floors are still full of soft spots and rot. Devastated we go to the officers talk with Tom he proceeds to tell us he has done all he will do and we will never be happy and that he doesn't see a problem. With our experience. We have since gotten a lawyer and hope to someday have a trailer since we have been paying for one for over a year but have only had it in our possession for 3 months.
