Come noon the next day I had not received a phone call from A1-Auto informing me that the tires had arrived. I called the shop several times but no one picked up. I went down to the shop and arrived at 12:30 P.M. Dan stated to me in a very rude fashion: "I told you to be here at 12." I informed him that he did not tell me to be there at 12, but instead that he stated to me that he would call me when the tires arrived and that I should then come to the shop after I received his call. Dan then informed me that the closest appointment for rescheduling was 3 days away which was too long for me to wait. I then asked for a refund which I eventually received but still had to pay a $60 tire restocking fee which I shouldn't have had to pay because it was Dan's fault for not calling me to inform me that the tires had come in, which is what he said he would do when I initially paid for the tires. This place is a ripoff & they steal their customers' money. I instead took my business to Midas of Catonsville and received prompt, courteous & competent service.

I called and talked to Ogenchi (the shop owner) she is amazing by the way. I told her the previous shop said I needed a new engine, she said have it towed here and we will look over the vehicle and provide you a diagnostics. Just know Prince (the mechanic) is so knowledgeable and hands down the best at his craft. Him and Ogenchi called and talked me through the problems/issues and provided their recommendations. I concurred with their recommendations and just know a few days later I was picking up my truck that was previously struggling when it was towed there from the beginning. Throughout the entire process I became overwhelmed and frustrated because the previous auto shop also messed up a few things on my truck, but Prince and Ogenchi reassured me I was in good hands like Allstate and guess what they stood on all ten feet when it came to fixing my issues. They definitely don't okay about the business they run. They made me so comfortable and removed all my worries and frustration. They even prayed with me that all my issues would be resolved and that I would be happy once they completed the repairs. They are now my new auto mechanic family. No other shop is ever touching my truck again. After all who wouldn't want an honest, trust worthy, reliable company taking care of their pride and joy. I would book here time and time again! If you looking for a good auto shop and been told that you need a new engine, transmission whatever they say, don't hesitate to call Ogenchi and Prince they will definitely take care of you and your vehicle needs. During the the day of visit, the receptionist called me 1 hour after dropping it off and stated the lift couldn't lift it. After asking several questions as we took it in to be evaluated to see if they could do the job before hand. She then stated something was wrong with their lift and tried to charge me a whole lot more. I asked to speak to a manager and she said no. It is very disheartening that they wanted to charge me addition fees due to their malfunctioning lift.

They do very good business so they're frequently booked up-- make an appointment if possible, they take preference over walk-ins. I called on a Wednesday morning to see when I could get in, and the earliest appointment they had was Friday. I needed an oil change, my tires inspected, and for them to check on an issue with my AC. You fill out a detailed service form inside the Shell station and the cashier, who is also a garage employee, takes care of it from there. When the mechanic called to give me his report, he followed my instructions to proceed with the oil change but get my permission for any other work needed. He told me my tires were in good condition (and didn't try to upsell me to make a buck). With the roads in Bmore being what they are, it would have been really easy to try that card (which some untrustworthy mechanics do more so with women), but this guy was honest with me and I respect that. He also said that my AC issue wasn't a problem that required any work and might just come and go, though harmless-- so again, saving me cash. The whole process was very efficient and reasonable priced, and the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend!
