This dentist is the bomb.com they have good music playing if you like old school rnb and they are friendly. Be on time because they are so booked they can't take you if your late. I really love this dentist because they are AFFORDABLE!! Especially at a time where these insurance companies barely cover anything. It's next door to Church's Chicken and they don't have windows. But the office is clean and I appreciate their thoroughness in my cleanings. My son really loves going here too!!! Update: as a client now of this dentist for many years I wanted to accurately give a newer better review. This place is constantly sending me little fees here and there months after the services. I believe they have issues in accounting. The cleaning staff is professional and helpful. The front staff is ok. Because I had such a positive experience here I brought my sister in. Who was living with me at the time and getting herself better from her drinking problem. They treated her with such disgust. They looked down at her and refused to give her a cleaning because she needed a deep cleaning and they wanted her to pay $180 more. She left there crying it was so detrimental in her recovery. After trying to reason with them I left there crying. I called the insurance and they said they legally were supposed to at minimum give her a cleaning. When ever I go in they ask how she's doing but I truly feel they could treated her better. There was also an incident with my son. They filled my sons cavity when it was microscopic on his baby tooth. If I would have known it was a baby tooth I wouldn't have let them fill it. He's 13 and losing all his baby teeth why would they fill a "snake eye" cavity? Just to get money and put my son through exposure to chemicals and unnecessary time spent. This was a learning experience. Now when I go there I have to ask them to show proof of everything they are doing and the reason they are doing it and what I need to pay after they do it. It's a whole process. My hygienist does a good job and she consistently cleans my teeth I don't bounce around to different people which is nice. I had to advocate for my teeth to get deep cleaned though. Pros: affordable if prices are accurate and explained, you can catch a good episode of judge Judy in the waiting room, you can advocate for yourself and they will listen and try to accommodate you, they do have many referral options make sure you ask for all referral slips that pertain to you. They just pick which ever one without thinking about which one they are giving you. One time I had a referral to an orthodontist for my son 35 min away. I went back and they gave me one in the same town. So ask for all options! They give kids a going to retrieve a small toy after cleanings. Consistent friendly hygienists and friendly dentists. Cons: possibly judgmental towards people in need, hidden fees mailed to you, parking lot is tore up. They need to repave, not the nicest area, rooms are clean but need renovations. read more

I came in today, first time. Ready to get some much needed work done on my mouth and find out how to better my smile. But the way the doctor talked to me was so rude. She talked to me as if I was a child and could not comprehend. Maybe it was the way I was dressed because I had just gotten off work, didn't have time to go home because I am a truck driver but they will never have to worry about me EVER coming back. read more

As alway I'm very pleased with the service here, we were only here for a routine cleaning but the spotted a cavity. So during our check out process I was asked would I like to have them filled today. If you are looking for a decent family dentist or just a personal deist for yourself, I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend this place for the following reasons: * Unfriendly and rude staff especially the person who is in charge of the billing. She will never be friendly with you when you ask her any type of billing related or insurance related questions. Whatever they say you gotta pay you just need to pay and get out. Don't go to this dental office. I initially went in for a crown thinking that she was fully capable of doing it. She first filed my teeth down to the nerve and told me to come back for my crown. I was in so much pain. I called to tell her I was in pain and she wrote me a script for Motrin and antibiotics. I took it thinking maybe it would help. Since she had filed my tooth down to nothing, I reluctantly went back to get my crown. I told her on that day that my tooth was still hurting. She still placed the crown and said in passing that I may need a foot canal. That should have been fone first. After a month or so, my tooth was still hurting to the point that nothing relieved the pain. I called and asked her to look at it. I was TOLD THAT I HAD AN INFECTION AND IT SPREADED TO MY BRAIN! She then wrote a script for antibiotics and pain medicine and sent me to a specialist where I was asked to pay $500 for them to drain the infection. She wants to charge me $1000 to do this root canal thst she should have done a lonb time sgo.I am in pain, damn near contemplated suicide. But before I do, i am going to the dental association about her practice. I could have died. I want to make sure that no One has to go through what I did. Never ever go to this office... read more

I moved to Atlanta in July 2004. At that time I had a 3 and a half year old. He is now 15 years old. I refuse to go to another dentist. Jean is the bomb and so is the staff. It says a lot if you have been with the same dentist for 12 years. I also have a 6 year old now so Donerlson treats my entire family and I continue to recommend them highly to everyone. They are extremely professional and it doesn't get any better than this. read more
