Ok, this wasn't a full on horrible experience, but it wasn't the best. We pulled up to the drive thru, after waiting A LONG TIME on the vehicle in front of us, we pull up and the attendant asks us to wait. Now this is a location with two drive through lines. The attendant helped the car to the right of us in the other drive through stall. At that point two other vehilcles pulled up behind that vehicle, AFTER us. They helped all three of this vehicles than came to us. That was frustrating. To add insult to injury, we asked for unsweetened tea, we got tea full of sugar. What should have take 5 minutes took more than twice that. Ridiculous. read more

I would start with a 000, actually Stars the people that work here, ignore their customers. If you say anything you get treated very badly and you have to wait even longer, it's not a place where I would want to bring my kids to eat, it's more or less, like cattle prodding the drive through through a window. And the rest of the people can eat shit that have already paid and give them their money and place their orders because they don't care. No one in their cares about you. That's sad. Night crew was very rude. One man in particular was on the drive-thru and told us that he could hear everything we were talking about and then we needed to drive around and get in line again. I have no idea what he meant by that because our windows were up and we were not having any kind of indecent conversation. My husband and I were there to pick up DoorDash when he treated us like we were children needing to go to timeout. Well I said what I had to say and so did my husband. I did let him know that I was going to write a review on Google because his customer service skills lack a little kindness. I've been a restaurant manager for over 30 years and I sure as heck would not want him on my crew treating people that way. I do enjoy McDonald's normally on regular basis and I don't usually have trouble with doordash. The service was good. However the fries are hard and cold, there is no salt; my kids can't eat them because they are too crunchy. We ordered 4 large fries and although I do understand it was close to closing time, enough fresh fries could have been made to complete our order. I gotta start by saying I had a personal ban on McMurders for the last 20 years, my children have never even eaton at one. I loath this corporation.. for many reasons I will not get into here. Instead, this will be about my trip here tonight, because I hadn't eatin since around 10am.. Anyways, here goes.. So I was starving, it's after 9pm and most places in this awful town are closed by now.. so I broke a 20 year vow and orders 4 cheese burgers, large fries and a drink. While trying to place my order, (with, Britney I shall name her) I couldn't understand her through speaker, because someone standing next to her (Shananay I will name this one) was blabbing on to a co worker about (Tyrone's) relationship issues, this was when I had the urge to step on the gas and flee, but I didn't. I was brave.... I pulled up the first window, (lil Pookie) took my money and told me to move up to the next window, I did... That's when I noticed all 4 overflow spots where full, and every time one pulled out, they put the next car in line into the spot, I pulled up, immediately got my drink. I thought I was safe... I was wrong.. (Britney) said "Pull up to spot 1"... I felt trapped.. so slowly I moved up and took my spot.. I past the time, watching (Lawanda) take bags of "food" to the different cars waiting like I was, funny thing is, she kept taking food to the wrong cars.. it was amusing.. then I noticed... My receipt says I placed my order at 9:26 pm.. I am posting a photo as proof.. I waited alone.. slowly growing angry.. I looked at my phone.. 9:40.. WTF?!? I exited my truck, walked inside and found a chaotic mess, with brainless worker drones pushing buttons, and lacking any problem solving skills. I also found who I assume was the manager, I tried to be as calm as I could, because I am a big, some would say intimidating man.. I didn't want to frighten the little fellow, but I exclaimed to him, that I had just "ordered 4 tiny little fucking cheese burgers,at 9:26, and it was now 9:40!!" Yes... this McDonald's is tiny, yes the look needs some camoufflage or renovation. BUT, the playground is great (perfect if you have a little one who needs some battery discharging needs while you try and read a book). I have made it my daily stop for cookies for a few month and the lady at the drive through recognized us by the voice... The drive through is great, the personnel so nice and almost NEVER messing up the order. I have tried both the drive through and the in house. I love the fact that they don't pressure you to leave. I love the 1 dollar menu and i love the fun and free entertainment provided by both the personnel and the costumers. ... it proves like a breath of fresh air to an otherwise plain fast food... AND, their smoothies are made just right!!! Probably my most fave location in Abilene!!! read more

For the last five years, this has been mine and my husbands favorite McDonald's. every shift seems to have good help; and friendly people. the restaurant is always clean. the playground kept up. the bathrooms are clean. The food is always served hot and french fries are always crisp. we just like going here. I went today with a friend and two toddlers and although it was very busy in the playground area we got quick service. food was good, and we had a good time. Everyone needs a raise. I would like to recommend a very petite person to work in the playground area during busy times. Someone that could help some of the smaller kids get up and down and to help mothers get their kids out when it's time to go! Seriously would be a good idea I think. (Use this store as a test model to see how well that goes over. I think you'd be surprised how awesome it would be!!!) Not a babysitter! definitely not a babysitter! Not what I'm asking for at all. just someone who can fit up in there to help out especially when it's time to leave. This drive thru is super fast, but they will not give condiments unless requested and they will not ask if you need ketchup. After many times arriving back at work without ketchup I was told you must request it. Today I requested ketchup. There were four ketchup packets (no charge) on my receipt, but back at work there was no ketchup in the bag. Jan 11, 2011 - 06:15 On the way to work this cold tuesday morning I stopped at this McDonald's. I ordered sausage muffins (2 of them) for $2.17. When the girl handed them to me I looked into the bag and noticed the buns were not toasted and gave them back to her saying "the buns are not toasted" and she said that is the way they come. I said "no they don't and she said "pull up to the second red bars" which I did. About 10 minutes later I got out of my car and went inside and requested my money back. At that time - the first girl I talked to said "she.s making your muffins now" then she hollered back "she don.t want her muffins" then a young man came out from behind the counter and bellowed "what, the burnt ones-the really black ones". At that moment I noticed that the muffins on the counter were burned. Then the person that was making them crumpled them up and threw them into the waste can. And I waited, and waited for my refund. While I waited the ladies turned their backs to me and that is when their loud conversation started about one of them being moved to another store. The woman in the blue shirt with the red scarf said "one of us? nu huh - I aint playin - I quit - no two weeks notice - nothin - I'll just give em back the shirt and walk away" Well they finally gave me my money back with crumpled bills and pressed them into my hand and turned away. I would give a -10 if I could. Brandon Fenwick (Assistant Manager) gave my family and I the WORST service I have ever received of my life. Our order- just 3 meals, was taking over 20 minutes, so I went to check on it. No one knew anything. 10 minutes after that... 30 minutes total, I told one of the employees I wanted a refund for my food because it should not take over 30 minutes at McDonalds. They yelled for the manager Brandon Fenwick who came over, didntI acknowledge me, and hardly even apologized for me waiting over 40 minutes at that point. He yelled to the back they wouldn't need my sausage mcgriddle and I said yes you will, because we still need our food. The poor girl at the front, in training I assume, told them we still wanted our food. Waiting about 50 minutes at this point... yes.. FIFTY MINUTES AT MCDONALDS... I hear from an employee that the order was cancelled. They called the manager, Brandon Fenwick, over again and he said "yeah I gave you a refund." Still unapologetic and then proceeded to spit company policy at me and say "I can either give you a refund or give you your food, I cant do both." I laughed at this point. Such poor communication on ALL employees' part, especially the assistant manager Brandon. I will be calling corporate tomorrow. Brandon, you can bet on that! Absolutely ridiculous and you should be ashamed of the way you treated customers tonight. Tonight I came to the McDonalds on S14th. I waited in line for 30 mins.. which was fine they were busy & I understood that.. but as I get to the front window I see my frappe being made, the young man spilt some on the counter he then scooped my frappe into the cup with his finger. Then came the whip cream .. which was over the cup, so he ofcourse , scraped the top of that off with his finger. I asked him politely if he would remake that one & throw the other away. I was still fine at this point and understanding.. until his rude manager yelled at him . Came to the window (steal yelling) & blurted out " will you pull up!!" - no apology, no will you please.
