Great job on the happy meal box design and the packaging for the figurine itself. I'm a grown adult, yet the kawaii culture always gets me!! :-) This location is conveniently located off of the 101 & Kanan Rd. They have two drive thru lanes, one off of Kanan and the other off of Canwood. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but the interior is spacious and clean, with a modern "I'm Lovin' It" picture frame in the dining area. In general, this area feels like a bedroom/retirement community, so they cater to big kids like me (LOL). It's always quiet during my visit, so I do like to visit this location on days they release an exciting promotion! Service is your average team...nice demeanor and they get the job done! read more

I usually go for the Egg McMuffin with a hash brown, and occasionally a coffee. My wife prefers the hotcakes with a hash brown, which she shares with our boys. I rarely have complaints about the food because McDonald's generally maintains solid quality control. If you need any adjustments to your order, they're usually able to accommodate small changes without issue. Service here is consistent with most McDonald's locations. You can dine in the restaurant has plenty of seating or choose the drive-through. They also offer curbside pickup with designated parking spots labeled 1 through 5. Just enter the spot number in the app, and they'll bring your order out to your car. The ambiance is what you'd expect: clean, functional, and updated every few years to keep things looking fresh as seen in the photos I've included with this review. This location really needs improvement. The staff in the drive-through barely listen to your order, and when you try to go inside, there's often no one available at the counter to take it. The employees come across as rude and unhelpful, and the place is not very clean. On top of that, even when you repeat yourself multiple times in the drive-through, they still don't get it right. I ordered a happy meal with a cheeseburger, no meat, no onions, add pickles. The ordering went fine, I paid and picked up at the window. A short girl with beady eyes handed me my food while smirking and then deadass collapsed on the floor laughing with her friend. I didn't have any idea why, until I drove off and took a bite of my burger. It was literally only bread and meat, not even sauce. This felt deliberate and appalling. In addition to this, the fries were cold and stale and there were no apple slices. I went through the drive through again and told them the burger was made wrong. No apology. Cash window girl stared and me and told me to go to the next window. No apology. Beady-eyed girl handed me my new burger in a bag at the next window looking pissed off. No apology. I asked to speak to her manager. Got some guy and I told him what happened. I told him how they laughed hysterically and how it felt deliberate and unacceptable. He offered to write me a free meal on a receipt for next time. Beady-eyed girl was giving me the dirtiest look while he wrote on the receipt. He handed me the receipt, and I told him she was giving me a dirty look while he was writing it up, and that his employee needs a major attitude adjustment. Never received my apple slices, either :( Later realized that the order taker mistakenly swapped them for a second fry? I had even said, "this comes with apple slices, right?" Normally I would not have stopped at a McDonald's, but it was the closest and most accessible thing available as I was having a low blood sugar crisis. Back to McDonald's a few weeks later because I wanted to see if they would make my dissatisfaction correct and Brian the manager here at the McDonald's on Canwood has replaced my 10 piece chicken McNugget in my large fry. I asked him to make it fresh and hot and he said, of course he would and I will let you know how it tastes. I think it's very nice that he did that I had to show him my receipt which I had a photocopy or not a photocopy, but I had a picture of my receipt I didn't actually have the actual receipt. I wanted to highlight the service at this location. This morning I made an order on mobile app for a sausage McMuffin, but I made the mistake of ordering their new item the "spicy" sausage McMuffin. I took a bite, and I knew it was incorrect. I went inside to complain, but that's when I realized I made the mistake and clicked the wrong item on the app. The ladies there were so nice, the manager over heard me when I was talking to the front counter girl, and immediately brought me a sausage McMuffin before I could even thing twice about my mistake. I ordered a Fish Sandwich without Tarter online, through the McDonalds App, for the Agoura Hills store #3997. I picked up the order through drive through. When I got to my destination, I found the fish sandwich had Their Tarter sauce all over it. I had to throw it away. I called the McDonnel's store and spoke with a person who held himself out to be the Manager (Luis) to request a refund. He told me that the only way I could get a refund was to come back to the store with the receipt. I objected as I did not want to drive their twice, park and go into the store for their mistake, after I never went into the store to order. It was all online. He was very rude in telling me that I was not going to get a refund without coming back to the store. So I filed a complaint at McDonalds Corporate (they opened a case) and they, of course, gave the obligatory apology, but told me I had to go back to the store to get a refund and it was approved. They did not think through refunding online purchases. I filed a dispute with the credit card company, who refunded my money without me having to double my expense for a improper 6.57 purchase. In my opinion, McDonalds ought to train their managers on common sense law before trying to apply hard nosed rude customer service. I will not be going back to McDonalds as I tried to hang in their with them despite all the negative things I have been hearing. If I could have given a zero that is what it would be. read more

I highly recommend this McDonald's they get extremely busy. It's one of my most favorite in between working and being finished with work. I love it very much. Sometimes I pull through and they have me wait in number one parking or two they take a while to come out, it's no problem. I drive-through once again. The vibe is exactly what I expected, dispassionate and predictable, the exact same taste and quality which is both good and stomach flipping. It's very very rare for me to order anything from a McDonald's. That was meeting somebody who chose this place? Okay, the meeting was more important than the place. Yeah, once in a long while I reflect on the potential of investing into a McDonald's franchise. I've spoken with corporate managers, and privately held locations with their managers. I'm impressed... And have seriously considered it in the past. And each time, I got better things to do that are more predictable and reasonably acceptable for performance, ROI...
