I know it's McDonald's, what do you expect? Well I expect them to at least be able to count I ordered nuggets and they rang it up right and even gave the right size box but I was missing 4 nuggets. This wasn't the first time just the most recent. The service is horrible. They all have bad attitudes and if you don't use the kiosk, you have to wait15 minutes to talk to someone. If you are coming into Aiken from the north there a double-line, so be careful coming Southbound. I ordered at a kiosk because no one was at a register. A large group came in a few minutes me after me and the register was opened. They got their food about 10 minutes before me. I went to the one on Richland Ave and the food was cold when I got it. There were too many people there ordering for the food to be cold. There's nothing worse than cold French fries and a burger. They are very slow taking orders at the drive-thru. One lane will take two or three orders before the other takes one. Then other times it takes longer for them to take one order and the lanes are not crowded. They need to work efficiency but holding true to quality and accuracy. read more

I really love McDonald's. I always have. The food and the prices for the family budget. But...... Of you go through the drive thru, they always ask for you to pull to a waiting spot. This usually means that the kitchen and kitchen staff can't keep up with supply and demand and the kitchen may be too small. This could also mean that there's not enough people working the kitchen. We don't have this problem at the one in North Augusta, Clearwater, North Aiken, or Augusta. Not to say that we have never waited at those locations, but there's an obvious trend at this location. read more

McDonald's discriminates agains me for being a loyal customer and for being disabled!!! After making a food purchase, I normally sit in my vehicle eating my food because of my disabilities. 11/16/19 An employee made contact with me about why I'm parked here in the handicap . After pointing my disabled placard and showing him the bags of food from McDonald's and a brief conversation he walked back inside. He stated his manager directed him to make contact with me. He also stated " hey I know you, you come every night and buy the number 2 meal.  Minutes later Aiken police made contact with me The officer stated the manager doesn't want you here because she its a lot of women that work here! She may call in the morning to have me issue you an no trespassing order. I ask myself for ordering food while disabled and because its women that work there? I've had McDonald's twice in the last 5-6 years or so- thanks to "Super Size Me". But I was coerced to go along with some buddies during a weekend trip to Aiken for a conference. We took the drive-thru route- this one had two drive-thru lanes, and for good reason. The place was packed for Saturday morning breakfasts! In all honesty, I think that's really a sad thing for two reasons: (1) no sleep...for McD's?? and 2) McD's??? Anyway, the food was as expected from a mega-chain franchised store- it was actually decent. But what irked me was that the prices on the drive-thru board did not match the amount of money I was charged. For having that many customers (and I assume pretty good business), they should be able to make appropriate updates. Terrible McDonald's experience. I mean it's a McDonald's so you can't expect a lot, but I placed the order on my phone and when I got there they didn't have it. No big deal. I don't mind waiting. Get to the window and show multiple people the receipt on my phone. The young girl at the window didn't know what to do so she called an older person with more experience to come over and look. An older white lady looked at my phone and was the rudest lady ever. She snaps at me that she doesn't know how the app let me put the order through because they are not doing curbside pickup. Eventually because the line is seriously backed up she gets my order for me but messes it up. I checked the bags before I left because they are going off of me telling them the order and not actually looking at the order. I point out that she missed two of my sandwiches and that I don't see any sauces for the chicken nuggets. She yells at the young girl at the window that she grabbed me everything I asked for. No, she didn't. The young girl repeats that I am still missing two of my sandwiches and that I asked for sauce for the nuggets. The rude lady snaps at her that she gave me everything and that I'm fine. Eventually, she gets me my last two burgers. The young girl at the window apologized for the hassle. I apologized to her for the lady yelling at her because the system messed up my order. All in all I will not be using the app again or going to McDonald's if I see they have a decent line. read more

The people seemed nice and the fries were hot, but all (3 of us) of our burgers tasted strange and two of us received patties that were very pink on the inside. Also when I unwrapped my burger the inside of the wrapper was covered in water or grease, I'm not sure what it was but the whole thing looked very "wet". I stop at this location begrudgingly on my way to work once in a blue moon. Almost every time I go, I'm parked. Today was no different. The window girl asked me to pull forward because of my coffee. When I ordered there was 4 cars in front of me. Why had no one started on this process already. I politely said no thank you. Then a 2nd person came to the window. She asked "ma'am what can I do to get you to pull forward"? I said "i really just would like my coffee, I'm usually parked 10 mins minimum every time". Before I could finish she shut the window. Then another employee came to the window, accidentally opened it and took a picture of me. Then the manager came to the window and gave me a list of why I needed to pull forward, how she needed to only change the milk bag and it just came off the truck or something along those lines. So this means 4 people came to the window, instead of making my coffee. So I simply stated that "I guess she should hurry". This needs to change. The coffee was a normal coffee, nothing fancy. I got excuses instead of action. I was treated as if I caused the problem. McDonald's takes my money and then holds me hostage and parks me for countless amounts of time. read more

This places was filthy; every tables was dirty and napkins on the floor; I ordered my food put in the number that was picked up from the kiosk in the order and waited just as it says my food will be brought to me... not here this places has 8 people standing around in the back and several customers waiting to place an order. I had to wait 20 minutes for my order after going through the drive-through. Absolutely unacceptable! This ain't rocket science, folks. Packaging up a bag of fast food shouldn't take that long. By now, McD's should have this stuff down to a science. Then, to add insult to injury, when I got home with my meal the fish sandwiches were put together in a sloppy way. The fish patty was crooked on the bun and the tarter sauce was half oozed out in the box, not on the sandwich like it's supposed to be! All I'm asking for is a little attention to detail. Still the world's worst McDonald's! Always a new lesson on how not to run a business. Saturday night 7PM, store is on the busiest intersection of our small town. One staff member on the counter. Waited 10 minutes before I was greeted and my order taken (I was the first person in line). The parking lot was about 1/3 full and maybe 5 cars in the drive thru but everybody was running around like their hair was on fire. Ordered a slushy that took almost 10 minutes, meanwhile there was a line being ignored at the counter with the staff member being involved with the drive thru traffic. Once again go here only if you are desperate, the only reason this store is open is it has the best location in town. I just went to this Mcdonalds and purchased a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and a sweet tea. The biscuit was hard as a brick, egg was cold as ice. The sweet tea tasted ROTTEN. Like the nozzles haven't been cleaned out in weeks. Called up there to let the girl know the tea was rotten, she didn't even apologize and in fact had an attitude like I was annoying her. NEVER going back. The service at this store was just awful. I would ask for my money back but I doubt they would refund considering I didn't even get a receipt! read more
