Only been to this location a couple of times since it's been open and I honestly see why. I got my regular shaken expresso and never have I had so much room left in my cup empty. I got a grande and the cup was not even filled to the top line in the cup. I did not ask for light ice or anything to where it should have been modified that much. When I asked the girl to fix it all she did was add more milk to the drink. Made the drink completed white because it was nothing but milk at that point. The attitude of the employees working there could also be better and customers in the dining area should not have to hear them talk about other customers who have left. Bad business. I frequent this Starbucks due to its location. I've never had a bad customer service experience here. The employees have always been pleasant. The issues I experience are normally slow service (I believe they have the same problem as many other businesses are having with high employee turnover) and being out of seasonal drink ingredients (seasonal drinks are huge sellers for Starbucks). read more

Employees are nice, but they really just make the drinks how they want, and your order is nothing but a suggestion. Unfortunately for my wallet, fortunately for Starbucks, I get coffee here, a lot. And with my frequent travels, I get my drinks tasting consistent, but not at my home-location on Whiskey road in Aiken. I ask for 3 pumps of sweetener, they still put the full amount for the size drink I order. I ask for oat milk, they put almond. I ask for regular roast espresso, and not the blonde (because it's sweeter, and I don't like my drinks overly sweet), and they put blonde in. I hate coming to this location, but other than the one in Kroger, this is the only one. Management needs to get their staff acting with more care. I typically don't review chain establishments because the service and quality tends to be variable due to high turnover. However, my experience today hit an all new low at the Whiskey Road location. I did a mobile order then called to see of I could come in to pick it up. The person who answered said yes, come inside to pick up my order. I walk inside and was immediately yelled at saying that I couldn't be inside. She said that she didn't know who told me to come in but they were wrong. I was rudely told that I needed to get back in the (extremely long) drive thru line to pick up my order even though the app indicated my order was ready. I asked if she could cancel my order and she practically snapped at me that I needed to go through corporate. I did contact corporate and they did refund my money and gave me a give card after telling them about my experience. Service at this location is typically okay...but today was a new level of low. I knew I should have gone to New Moon...but I was on the south side and didn't want to get out in the rain to pick up my drink. That's what I get. The saving grace here is the window attendant who remade my drink because by the time I got to the window it was melted and flat. She was very nice and understanding. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to, and I travel all over. I look for Starbucks over other coffee spots because they have non-dairy milks. I ordered a chai tea with almond milk and a regular latte with coconut milk. They both tasted terrible, undrinkable. Something tasted off like they haven't cleaned the machine or something. I had picked up in the drive thru, so the next day I went back to tell them about the drinks being bad. The barista guy gave me a hard time; he said if something was wrong with the drinks, I should have come back. Like I have time to drive back to Starbucks when I was using the drive thru on the way to work. He did remake my drinks (for free) but they were just as terrible. I threw them out. The Starbucks in Aiken us to be one of my favorite places. Not anymore. Crazy things happen now. They close early. The inside is not open. Not a huge issue if the drive-Thru could actually keep up with orders which it can NOT. Get ready for a 30-40 minute wait folks. Why does the owner consider this still acceptable form of doing business. I don't go anymore. In case y'all need that Starbucks hit, promise minimal waiting, the Kroger has one in the store. Not quite as good, but not a painful either on the waiting. I have seriously thought of approaching my dad in investing in a Starbucks at the other end, near the Publix. The coffee is great. The service is spotty--some days it's fast but other times...today it took over 20 minutes to reach the drive thru window. The service is usually friendly. The regular chai tea has been consistently in stock for several weeks. The rose bushes have been trimmed so you don't have to let them scrape your fender any more. Finally banged on the window and they said I had to go through the drive thru. Starbucks is one of my fav spots. I'm actually writing my review from the comfort of one of their many locations. This location is cool. It's located on the busy Whiskey Road. It was mostly full when I arrived, especially the drive-thru. I ordered my usual iced coffee. It was prepared just how I like it. The staff was nice also. So after ordering my coffee I was prepared to park it and get a lil' work done. Most of the seats were taken, so I was going to sit outside, but there weren't any outlets. I wasn't expecting them to be on tables away from the building, but even those located next to the building had no outlets. I was a lil' bummed because it was a pretty day. I waited a bit and eventually found a table near an outlet. This is important to me because I usually never have enough battery power to take me through 30 minutes on my laptop. Overall, plenty of seating outside. I'd love for them to update the store with the counter with the outlets underneath. read more

I've arrived first thing the morning and used the drive through 15 minutes before they closed. Me gusto! This restaurant was my lunch destination recently, and I became quite fond of the place. It was your typical Starbucks at heart, to be sure; but, the dining room was clean, there was plenty of seating (including a great, sun-struck patio), and the service was friendly. Also, the bathroom was big, and equally looked-after - never a bad thing. I just wanted to give my local Starbucks a shoutout. 8000 stores had sensitivity training on May 29th, but ours has always had very courteous baristas and management. As a person of color who comes here for morning coffee regularly, I have never seen the staff act anything but professionally to all patrons, whether purchasing items, hanging out, using the facilities, conducting interviews, studying, sheltering from a cold rainy day, or meeting friends or colleagues - and people do it all in here. I asked one of the baristas how the training went and was told some employees had some eye-opening experiences, so hopefully, it will just enhance the excellent, friendly service these folks already provide to everyone. read more
