Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich- not edible- like chewing rubber. Tossed is and ate the cheeseburger I bought for my dog.

Not the best seat, would've preferred somewhere a little further from the next booth to us. They had flags for the teams of the World Cup and then another set for the top 16. The food was really good, homemade fries and fresh made chips. Everything we had ordered was very good.

Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

Parking and Main Street is extremely difficult due to the popularity of these places so we parked down behind the store in a large community parking lot and walked up through the alley to the front door. We noticed immediately there was a huge overflow crowd. waiting to get into the Bar Bill, but we fought our way through to get into 189 Burger. If only those people out on the street knew what they were missing, they would give up their spot in line and join us at this great little restaurant instead! 189 Burger is well known for its expansive beer menu, but we were only interested in the burgers. I was intrigued by the description of the Bang Bang Burger. It came topped with Bang Bang sauce, cheddar cheese and Calabrian butter and crispy onions. Absolutely delicious! My husband ordered the Greek burger, a masterpiece with Tzatziki , lemon ginger, jalapeño, red pepper, chickpea pesto, and pickled red onions, seeded bun! Scrumptious!

As you enter from Main Street the front houses a long traditional bar with a few tables.on one side and then further back you can enter the patio or continue to the small but quiet dining room. This place was even busy with a good lunch time crowd. There is a public parking lot behind with a nearby aisle to cut thru to Main St., which makes it convenient. Our.waitress was friendly and attentive. Now onto the food. The burgers were good and cooked as ordered. I wasn't crazy with the sweetness of my choice; but wanted to try something different. The maple bourbon cream was a bit too much for me. The bourbon bacon burger was a better choice. They do have some unique combinatio s thay separate them from.a typical burger place.

You could see the frustration on the faces of the cashier. Perhaps they should consider handing out menus. The issue may have been the height and font of the menu I enjoyed my burger and my daughter loved her hot dog. The Cajun fries were spicy but good. We ordered a triple chocolate chip cookie. It was delicious. I tried to get another one but they were sold out! Noisy but not bad. I would come again.

At first glance, it looks like a basic ice cream shop that also happens to have a kiosk where you can order burgers, hot dogs, and fries. We figured it would be a quick, decent lunch before heading back to the falls. Instead, we got the tastiest surprise. These burgers came out hot, fresh, and perfectly smashed with those crispy, caramelized edges that make smash burgers so addictive. Then came the real MVP: the spicy Flip Sauce. I would happily put that stuff on just about anything. The rest of the family stuck with the regular Flip Sauce and promptly started dunking their fries in it like it was liquid gold. Speaking of fries, one order was plenty for our family to share--which left more room for ice cream. Because yes... they have ice cream too. Naturally, we had to "sample" it for quality control, and it was the perfect ending to lunch. My only tiny complaint? Bottled sodas instead of fountain drinks. That's it. That's the list. Moral of the story: don't judge a restaurant by its ordering kiosk. If you're spending the day at the falls, eat here.
