Writing this because of 2 employees in particular. I usually stop here on my very early commute from Atlanta to Athens, so I am usually half asleep & unfortunately I don't know their names. But these ladies are so kind and awesome at 6 in the morning. I have tried stopping at multiple McDonald's on the way to get a coffee & something to eat & I either get "we don't have that" or the employees don't even answer the drive thru... so I stopped at this one & I'm glad I did. They are so friendly & fast with their service, I know I wouldn't want to be at work that early & I'm sure that's why everywhere else stinks so early, but these ladies are awesome. The food is typical of McDonald's, you can't come here & expect to get a 5 star meal. But like I've said in a ton of my other reviews, service always means so much to me. I used the drive thru and a man took my order, I ordered the number seven, double cheeseburger meal, and on the screen it didn't look right. I confirmed twice it was the number seven. The second time a woman I had not spoke to cut in and rudely said "this is the cheeseburger meal". It wasn't, so I pulled back around to explain they didn't give me what I ordered. I was informed I could purchase another cheeseburger, even though I had paid about the same amount as the two cheeseburger meal! I wasn't going to pay another $3 to get what I had tried to order all along. I would have even been fine if they refunded me, then charged me for the correct meal that was within a few cents of what they charged me for. They gave me a ton of attitude then gave me the worst burger I've ever had, it looks like a hockey puck on a bun and they missed the burger with the ketchup so half was on the paper. You can't give them anymore than 3 stars because it's McDonald's after all! With their limited menu, Chick-Fil-A has chemistry and the best customer service imaginable for a "fast food" joint. There is something this place can glean from the success that CFA is having. Customer service and attentiveness. Let me give an example; I thought the girl with attitude that took my order was listening on her headset because when I asked her the same question three times about changing my mind about nugget sauce, she didn't even acknowledge me. As I waited to ask again and became distracted by my kids, she asked "what kind of sauce do you want?" Enough said and it's unacceptable that we've come to expect and excuse this behavior. Asked drive thru person for an extra straw when I went to pick up my food and he kept telling me to move up to wait for my food. So I thought he would put the straw in the bag. Bag finally shows up with no extra straw. You need employees at the window who understands some english. read more

Then, when I called the "call if you are not satisfied" line, I got a recording, which said the line is answered every day from 8am to 8pm. Ok, so .. this review is just for the service, cos the food...lets be honest.. is McDonalds production line stuff. I was on the way back from groceries and realized didnt have any protein for the salad at home, opened up the mobile app and ordered a Grilled chicken artisanal sandwich which was on the deal for a 1$, but here is the catch, i ordered it without Mayo, Bun and Extra lettuce. When i got there and confirmed for my curbside pickup, this nice guy walks up and asks to confirm my order.. cos they wanted to confirm if it was right ( I can see why, dont think they get too many of these kinda orders). Came back a few mins later with my order in a bag, and i think it was really nicely packaged in what might be something they use for the pancakes, a LOT of lettuce and guess what... a knife and Fork thrown in, as if they knew my intent !! I have been here multiple times, all times in the day, mostly for breakfast though, but today was a nice touch. My boyfriend and I came to this McDonald's an hour before closing. They had already started cleaning which is understandable considering the time so it took them a few extra minutes to prepare our food.Although we weren't initially told this when we questioned why we had to pull up the girl working was super sweet and threw in some extra pie for us. Could not be more disappointed in my experience at this location... waited in the drive through line for over 20 mins with only 2 cars in front of me. When I received my food I had one piece of bacon on a horribly assembled BLT and they forgot my fries I paid for. The food was good but I encountered a very rude employee. On 7/24/22, I saw on the app that I would get free fries and a drink with a purchase, (bear in mind that I rarely eat at McDonald's so I don't know the procedure), so I decided to go there and buy food. As I got there, i had to keep saying hello hello, because she would randomly go mute on the other end of the speaker. eventually, she took my order. Shortly after, she looked at me with disgust as I pulled up to the window. I overlooked that. Bc I didn't know the procedure, I told her that I had a promo that said that I would get free fries and a drink with my purchased food item then she was like "why didn't you tell me at the speaker?!" I was so confused because how was I supposed to know? I kept telling her that the promo said that I would get free fries and a drink if I bought something, so I thought that I had to buy something first , scan the barcode, and then get the fries and drink! If she would've told me politely instead of rudely, then I would've been able to correct my error. I wasn't even being rude to her but she was very unfriendly so I just drove off and I heard her throw something , possibly coins(change) on the ground behind me because I didn't collect it from her. Since the renovation, the service has gone down. They installed "touch screen order" kiosks so that the counter people do not have to talk to customers. The staff that was at the restaruant prior to the remodel are all gone, the majority of people working now do not speak English, I realize this is rude, but if my order is not correct, I want to be sure I am understood when placing the order. I used to come here all the time in between jobs, I loved seeing Rhonda in the drive through she always had a smile on her face. Not so much anymore read more

I'm giving this location 2 stars because it is local and SOME of the staff are very pleasant. However, most of the staff are very rude and unfriendly. I'm not asking for much, but a smile or kind word goes a long way. The food here is more often miss than it is hit. The order is constantly wrong, as well as the food being cold and over cooked. Even the fries are lacking! Having said that convenience is key and we will continue to come here as infrequently as possible. read more

This is a typical McDonalds, so not too much to say about it. It's on Alpharetta Hwy, right across from Kroger, and it's pretty easy to get in and out of even though it's on a high traffic road. It has a large play area for the kids in the front, and it seems to be crowded with kids a lot of the time. The drive-thru is quick and easy, and the people are working are generally friendly. So, last Sunday I was super depressed and Chick-Fil-A always makes me feel better so I decided I would go get a deluxe spicy sandwich with extra pickles. Apparently Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sunday's. Did anyone know this? Anyways, I didn't get my chicken sandwich so I decided I would get an eight count McNugget with super sized fries and a coke. This location had ran out of if supersize and I was pissed. Me and the obviously failing school counter person argued for almost fifteen minutes. Mostly him saying yep and me yelling. I am obese and obsessed with junk so I just wanted my McDonald's super sized stuff. I asked to see the manager of the location and the counter guy was him. Inside I flipped out and almost killed someone but outside I was calm. I said to the counter person, "Oh, ok. In that case I will have a large fries and two orders of eight count McNuggets with ketchup and mayo. Make sure the fries are unsalted." I also asked for a water cup. About 30 minutes later I finally got my food and went to fill my cup with water. Surprise Surprise I filled it with their drugged Coca-Cola instead. The store manager called me over to him and told me I had to pay for the coke. I responded with, "sorry I will just go dump it out then." I "accidentally" dumped the coke on his shirt and then slapped him right before I ran out of the door. I'm pretty sure I heard him calling the cops as I left but I should be fine.
