Was shocked to see after handling every other item at the drive thru window (debit card, cash, bags, etc.), after placing food in the bag I witness the employee take napkins, one at a time, from single napkin dispenser and place them on top of my fries. This is completely unsanitary and absolutely the wrong way to use this type of dispenser. Don't appreciate unclean hands touching every single napkin for my order and then placing the now dirty napkins directly on my food. Comment response - I attempted to contact Dairy Queen directly through the site, same place in the link you provided however there is no form on the "contact us" page or email addresses. There are only mailing addresses and then phone numbers for the individual locations. I don't believe a phone call is adequate as these type of things need to be handled in writing. read more

After ordering a blizzard in the drive thru that was halfway melted and tasted really weird i went inside and told them it tasted bad and asked what i wanted so i asked for a small vanilla cone. I was asked by Issac what did i want him to do? well your blizzard was half way melted and tasted like rotten milk, id love my money back for the difference but instead he decided to go talk to someone else instead of just correcting the issue. mind you when i was in the drive thru i had to ask 3 times for my receipt! read more

Food was good. Would have easily been a 5 star experience except for one of the cooks was super rude to me and basically bullied me into buying a meal. She told me from the cook area that I couldn't buy the chicken tenders without buying the basket. I didn't put up a fit about it and bought the basket. I did however ask to speak to a manager and did speak with the front manager "L" who was very pleasant and apologized on behalf of the rude cook. L also assured me I could get the tenders WITHOUT getting the basket (which I knew already) , but my money was spent already and I didn't want to hold up the line with a refund. My first time reviewing this DQ but not the first time I've been here! I haven't always thought too highly of DQ, but this store location has changed my mind. This place is awesome! The staff is super nice, the food and Shakes are delicious and the blizzards are awesome!! The lunches are super cheap and the burgers are actually really good. Look, consider that you get a lunch for $6 and typically that's not going to be any good. This DQ is different from the rest, so give it a whirl! read more

Worst experience ever. Entered the building at 920. They close at 930. Asked if we could order. They said yes but only takeout. We obliged We asked if we could sit in the patio area. They said yes. Then at 930 they turned the lights off on us. Paying customers. Mind you, they were still inside working. With the lights on. How rude to make paying customers sit in the dark. They could have left the light in while they closed up. Customer service was PITIFUL. No manager present. Only young kids working that could care less and are rude. read more

WHERE DID YOU COME FROM? It has obviously been a really long time since I have visited this area of town because this Dairy Queen just jumped out at me from nowhere. It is located right in front of the Walmart Supercenter on Highway 9. We were headed to Walmart but decided to stop by after shopping. This is a really nice restaurant with great details like an oversized fork and spoon for door handles. It looks great inside with a really warm decor and easy ordering process. I wasn't really interesting in dining so I just ordered a kid's meal so that I could sample the chicken strips and onion rings. This order came with a drink as well. My husband ordered the adult version of the same. Now, if I am a kid, (and sometimes I am), I am not happy that my food is delivered in a plain bag with no toy. I am expecting a clever little box that can is fun to open and has little corny jokes all over the outside. I am also expecting a fun toy, or some temporary tattoos. Nope, not here! Their kid game is super weak and they need to raise that bar! Regarding the strips, they are like the ones sold at Arby''s and I did not care for them. I like them hot and crispy and these were warm with a softer batter. The rings were incredibly greasy and should have been drained prior to serving. The greasiness just ruined it for me. Perhaps their strength is their dairy products but since I did not try any of them, I can't really comment. I will say that they have a large cooler in the restaurant so that you can purchase cakes and dairy treats to go. I can't recommend the strips or onion rings so if you go, you might want to try a burger and ice cream. Service was very nice and your order is delivered to your table once it is ready. read more

It was a simple order. Double cheeseburger, ketchup only, to go. The nice young lady at the counter entered my order correctly, and I was charged for what I ordered. I made the mistake of thinking the kitchen staff actually READ the order. I didn't open the bag until I got home, and I found that what I got was a double with NO cheese, and ketchup. AND mustard. From the other reviews, it appears that problems like this are common. I wonder if the management cares. read more

This if my favorite fast food place in Cumming! The staff is very polite and the food is great! They have patio seating and are very reasonably priced. I ordered a kids cheeseburger meal and she wouldn't give me a kids bottled water but she would give me milk, apple juice, or any other choice that was the same cost or maybe more. We went through the drive thru. We both got chicken finger baskets and asked for a ranch and a Buffalo with each. As she handed us the baskets we asked to confirm that there was a ranch and a buffalo in each. She said yes. We pulled away to discover that she lied. There was a ranch in one and a buffalo in the other. We pulled back around, and she charged us for the sauces that we originally asked for. We weren't going to charge $1.26 (which is insane for two sauces) to a card so we have her cash. She took our cash, closed the window, and walked away. She didn't even give us our change. She was rude and I will never come back here again. read more

This is the worst DQ I've been to. I was so excited to have one built around the corner from us. I've formally complained on two occasions, which I thought would be resolved since I got an apology letter from the company with a gift card and a phone call from the manager with a free meal. However, nothing has changed since. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the first bit that they were open thinking it was just getting acclimated. Issues my family experience every time include never getting lids on blizzards (resulting in spills all over the car tonight which prompted me to write this review), blizzards are always melted, food is never given to us in a bag, bread is always soggy, inattentive drive through service, and orders missing items on several occasions. For a fast food restaurant I would normally say you get what you pay for. But compared to the DQ in Cumming or any other for that matter, this one has so many issues that they don't seem to care to fix. read more
