My girlfriend and I ubered to the restaurant and we're kicked out at 11:45 pm on this Thursday night because the lobby was "closed" and were forced to wait for 15 minutes outdoors while it was 24 degrees out with no jackets for a ride while the workers refused to let us stand in the entranceway. Have come 2 times in one week to find the restaurant lights on, open sign on, and no response after waiting more than 10 minutes. This time, I called... only to talk to a rude incompetent jerk who said "do you understand we have a sanitation protocol?" when I said that they are supposed to be open 24 hours. Best McDonalds ever. Food comes out fast and hot. Sometimes get free stuff. Overall tasty and fun.

I went though the drive through of this place today (5/26/15 at 7pm). The a. hole taking the orders was so impatient that he took down even the items I was discussing with my daughter as the food I want to order. At one point I ordered a salad. Then the guy asked me if I want crispy chicken or.... I said I want regular chicken. He knew what I meant, but he refused to change it. I said I want to change the order. He disregarded all that and said he has already entered it. He said he will change it when I go to the first window. Then he told me that the order was changed as I requested. At the second window, I had to wait a little bit until the salad was prepared. When they finally gave me the salad it had crispy chicken. This whole thing was done purposely. Unfortunately I did not have time to argue. If you want McDonalds do not go to this place. They are capable of spiting on your food. This is the very first time this has happened to me in any restaurant. read more

This location is in the bottom 10 percent of McDonalds I've been to in terms of wait times, order accuracy, and customer service. I've never waited less than 10 minutes in the drive thru, even during quiet times. A number of times, I've been given the wrong food or mis-charged. Unfortunately, as others have pointed out, there are very few quick food options in this area of Ann Arbor, which probably explains why management doesn't try to improve any of these issues. read more

After reading these reviews, I am shocked!I have been going through the drive through at this McDonalds for about a year now. I go every morning! The employees are friendly and fun! I often have conversations with the guy that works nearly everyday in the back, and know most of the managers by name. While they are having some staffing issues, and you can tell by the wait sometimes, the managers and their crew are ALWAYS apologetic. Some of you should remember that these people are just humans doing their best! They don't control hiring, the prices, or the promotions. You show your true colors when I and other people observe you verbally abusing these people at their workplace. read more

Are you kidding me? I thought McDonald's business plan was to have every item on the menu taste the same wherever you go. The food at this particular location is disgusting. I don't even know where to begin. They are so sloppy with the food here it makes me gag to think what actually goes on behind the counter. The burgers either taste stale, come out cold, or they're soggy. The fries don't even seem like they were cooked. Sometimes the cashiers are friendly, but you'll mostly get obnoxious people who seem to be there to just screw around. Do they even train or require food handler's permits here? Worst experience ever. Unbelievably slow. But that's not even the worst part. We pulled up to the order stand and the lady said "Hi, welcome to McDonald's. How may I take your order." We said our order and had no response. 5 minutes later the lady comes back on and says "Hi, welcome to McDonald's. How may I take your order.", so we repeated our order. Still nothing. At this point we had been sitting at the stand for 10 minutes. We decided to pull up and assume they had our order. When we finally pulled up to the pay window, it had been 30 minutes at this point. We told the employee what happened and she got the manager. The manager told us that she didn't have our order and we pay there THEN LOOP THROUGH THE ENTIRE LINE AGAIN! That would have been 20 minutes on top of the 30 minutes that we just waited. We were so furious that we left and went to the Applebee's down the street. If I could give no stars I would. read more

I work out in this area and stop in their periodically each time I i couldn't believe how rude most of their employees are. I have also repeatedly been denied their specialty coffees each time they claimed they were cleaning the machine. I work midnights and was there the same morning once at 1am and they rudely stated they were cleaning the coffee machine I left and came back at 430 am thinking for sure it would be cleaned up and running. However the same rude employee stated it was still being cleaned. I can only assume they didn't feel like making that specific drink so made an excuse or just never got around to clean it within those three hours. The past few tImes I was greeted with a "what do you want" as well as clear aggitation absolutely have never had any of their employees say hello or your welcome after saying thank you. This is a great McDonald's with wonderful food. I can't believe it's the same company as the restaurant on West Stadium. Lots of salad on the juicy Big Mac. It's worth the drive to the East Side if you hanker for McDonald's fast food. read more

We go to this location often and they do a great job. Last night we stopped by for just ice cream. Markel and crew made us feel very welcome, we have a son with food allergies and they made sure we were comfortable. The restaurant is kept clean and neat too. They are quite friendly. This location is in our opinion a standout, we have been to some rather nasty ones lately where you can tell the ownership doesn't participate in the experience... keep up the good work! read more

Most of the staff at this McDonald's are very rude and seriously lacking in the customer service department. No smile, no greeting, no 'you're welcome' when they are thanked for anything (I'm in customer service so I tend to thank people a lot). They can't seem to get even simple orders right. More than half the time they forget the sauce with your nuggets or ring up the completely wrong thing and then don't know how to correct it without calling over a manager. They usually have a dozen workers behind the counter and there are always a few that look like they are just standing around, even if the restaurant is busy (which it usually is). The only reason I continue to go to this McDonald's is because it is close to work and they really are fast. I can actually get there and back to work in my 30 minute lunch allotment. read more

The experience at this restaurant was unbelievably bad. We came here to order 2 Big Macs and a McFlurry, and were informed that the ice cream machine was broken, and they were out of Big Mac sauce. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 quarter pounders with no pickle or onions instead. After paying at the first window, we sat waiting at the second window for our food for approximately 15 minutes, and no one came to the window (we would have left at 10 minutes, but we had already paid and this was at night, so the lobby was closed). There were no cars in front of us, and we knocked on the window to no avail. Finally, the FRY COOK, with apron and gloves on, came to the window to deliver our food (after laughing with another employee inside first). Unfortunately, after pulling away to leave this horrible restaurant behind, we noticed that we had only received half of our order, and they had pickles and onions. So, in summation, we could not order what we wanted, were made to wait 15 minutes, and I paid for 4 burgers but only received 2, and these were incorrect. Worst place ever. There's no need for you to waste your time at this crap of a restaurant. As I went through the drive thru, I was not ready to order. Then the very rude lady in the back begins complaining by saying "HELLO HELLO HELLO?" I then told her I'm not ready yet. She then says "HELLO ARE YOU READY?" I then say no I'm not hold on. She then says "Damn, ratchet ass." I then skip the drive thru and go inside of the restaurant. I had a few words for her, and the rest of the staff. They DID NOT care about the way that I was being treated by this very rude women. Don't go waste your time at this place. The service was horrible. Even after I say I'm going to call corporate office, the Caucasian female then says "Okay here's the number and have a nice day ma'am. Horrible service. I spoke to the manager and she stated to me that it's her parents restaurant and she then says she will look into it, AFTER the female who had the nerve to call a PAYING CUSTOMER "RATCHET ASS" comes from behind the back and smacks her chewing gum and rolls her eyes.
