You think I would learn my lesson? Today is Sat. Yesterday on TV I saw the ad for breakfast special at McD! For a buck fifty you get 1 hash brown and 1 sausage and biscuit! Well today McD clerk said they stopped this special and I could get 1 sausage with biscuit for $1.00 and 1 hash brown for $1.19! I said ok but I wanted to speak to the manager! Line behind me was verrrry long! Mgr. said ea. McDs could do as they pleased. Even though TV ad said one thing this McD was a franchise and could do as they pleased! I hate to give such a bad review because most of the employees are nice. However, I live near the location so I stop by every once in a while. It's almost always either under staffed or poorly staffed. After pulling up, the employee read me my order which was wrong, I corrected her told her it was no problem, paid, she gave me and the bag and I should of double checked but it was super packed so I pulled around the front to find out she did give me that same wrong order she read to me originally. I paid a good amount more for my order to receive something much less. Of course the lobby was closed, so at that point I either wait another 20-30 minutes in line to dispute or take the order. I had not eaten at McDonald's in years. However, I was hungry for an Egg McMuffin. I thought! I bought one & it was the worst! The cheese & the egg weren't on the bun, they were mostly on the paper that enclosed it. The bun was so tough & overcooked that it scratched the roof of my mouth. If I could give it negative 10 stars I would. Three cars in the drive-thru and it probably took 10 minutes to get to the window, because I asked for extra pickles, onions and to add mayo, our order took 20 minutes to "wait for our FRESH food". The girl said it almost laughing and when she did deliver it she had a smug look on her face. We get home and there are NO extra pickles, NO extra onions and it's absolutely drenched in mayonnaise. There is always an issue with the morons who work here and seem to be irritated if you ask for the tiniest iota of effort. I understand it's fast, cheap food but the employees are the dumbest and laziest, useless people. Avoid this location like the plague. I wouldn't be surprised if it took so long because they were busy hawking up a loogey to spit in my food due to a small request. read more

Ordered frozen Coke and Diet Coke thru app the app. When arrived to pick it up, was informed no frozen Coke. They refused to give a credit thru the app or refund the money. Stacy tried unsuccessfully to get the app refund, went back inside then hung up when we called to find out how they were to resolve the refund. read more

20 minutes to get the mobile order. No apology and on top they got it wrong. I had to knock on the door to get the order and when I checked, it was wrong. When I mentioned this to the employee she had some attitude and asked "so you want large fries now"? I simply said, "no, I want what I paid for" and show her the receipt. Im not a fan of McDonalds but it supposed to be fast food. This guys take out the fast from this chain and put some attitude on top. Then again I never thought of reviewing a McDonald's until I had my worst and final (bye!) interaction this morning with the manager at this MoPac location who has consistently been rude and unhelpful. Guess I've been lucky til now knowing only the other locations which are very good or better. I'll tell you that the one in Capitol Plaza on the IH-35 feeder just north of 51st St. has "Chick-Fill-A level" customer service and experience, IMHO. The drive thru is slow and ALWAYS messes up the order, even when it's just a large drink. On my last visit, they messed it up TWICE. The inside is just as bad. I have waited at the counter and been given no service, even after yelling "can anyone help me please." Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

Went through the drive-thru during a very busy time. Line moved along nicely, employees were polite, Qtr cheese & fries & coffee were fine.

I was here at McDonald's at 5:00pm idk who is on shift at this time but it was a female and she was on her phone the whole time almost dropped our drink that we ordered and could barely pay attention when we were ordering. The service at this McDonald's is terrible if I could go 0 stars I would. We sat in the drive thru waiting to order for over 5 mins. The other line was moving so I asked if I needed to move to the other line the guy on the intercom said "No give a second". We watched 3 more cars get their order taken & I again asked the guy on the intercom if he was going to take our order & he said "give me a minute". I said why is this line having to wait as the other line moves & he replied "I'm doing something". I then asked for a manager & he said "I am the manager". I asked if he's the manager where's the professionalism especially saying "I'm doing something" & leaving customers waiting without any communication & rude responses. He then replied "Well I'm doing something" I left the line & went to get the # to call for complaints & left a message. I asked a worker the name of the manager on duty & she said "Oh I don't know" & wouldn't give me the guy's name. I called inside & Maricella answered I asked her the name of the manger on duty & she too said "I don't know". I said so no one knows the name of the manger working? She then says hold on & I hear her telling him to get on the phone but instead he leaves the phone off the hook & never answers the call. If I could give them no stars I would this McDonald's is TRASH! From the customer service to the food and this is from past and today's experience. I came by this McDonald's today August 10th at 10pm exactly and an African American man said we are closed through the drive through. I checked the hours online it clearly states they are 24hours! I called to speak to the manager and when I told the manager Chris about the situation he proceeded with yelling that he didn't care and started cursing at me over the phone. I'm just a regular highschool kid who wanted to get a quick Big Mac and drink before I went to my athletics for today. I pulled up to the drive through to get a Big Mac and decided I'd switch it up from my regular drink order to a mango pineapple smoothie... when I got to the window, the worker informed me that they didn't have any and offered a Carmel Frappuccino instead. Intrigued, I accepted her offer. Boy was I wrong. Although the Frappuccino was decent, what happened after was far from it. Within an hour it hit me. I had to rush into a Wendy's and use their bathroom for an extended amount of time because it was so bad... when I had been offered said Frappuccino I did not expect to get the shits that would remind you of flint Michigan. Within 20 minutes after that round 2 hit me... I'm hoping this madness is over but I'm preparing for the worst. I would not recommend the McDonald's Carmel Frappuccino to my worst enemy. I went through the drive thru & the girl at the window took my money. When I didn't drive forward to the next window, she rudely asked if I needed something. I confirmed my total with her & then reminded her of how much I paid. She looked at me as. If in shock & said, "Oh, do you want your change?". Ahhhhh, yah! Don't drive off or walk out without checking your order. We come hear only out of convenience which will probably stop as of today. They constantly screwing your order up even though it's in plain English. They always seem to blame the issue on the fact that the staff in the back are Mexican and can't speak and barely can read English. Sorry I have to give this McDonald's 1 star in order to post a review. Went for lunch yesterday with family. Lady taking orders was rude & impatient when I couldn't understand her broken English. Eye rolls, big sighs, disgustedly repeated what I couldn't understand the first time! All while standing behind a sign that said, "Now hiring smiling faces!" C'mon McDonalds! This is ultimately the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. You can tell that they have the absolute worst management because of the constant change and employees. When I saw the 1-1/2 star rating for this McDonalds, my first thought was "can it really be that bad?" Well, it is. Customer service is poor. I was left standing at the order counter twice while the cashier left to do something else. I then watched her count money out in front of me, and she still had not even looked up at me to verify that she knew I was there. No, "I'll be right with you" or any communication at all. After handling the cash, she went directly over to handle food. Gross. After getting my food I tried to find a place to sit down. Nearly all tables were dirty from previous guests, and had not been wiped down in a while. I then watched another employee come out to stock the beverage bar. After sneezing into her hand multiple times, she would just wipe her hand on her shirt and continue restocking the napkins. I did not touch another napkin the rest of my visit. Other McDonalds I have visited recently have come a long way in cleanliness, quality, and service. This location did not get the memo, apparently. Poor location. read more

I got iced tea and 4 peach pies in the drive thru. The tea was warm and there was barely any ice so it stayed warm - so much for a cool drink on a hot Texas day. My peach pies were overcooked - the filling was like thick glue and the crust was a bronze color. I called the phone number for the place and they told me they were too brown because how long they are held. Of course I was told I could bring them back - how about using some quality control and throw things like this in trash and not hand out to some poor customer in the drive thru window. read more

They'll say they're closed (when hours say open), they've told me it would be 5 min for any breakfast because "whatever", then it would be 5 mins for any burger because "whatever". Every morning I go thru drive thru and it takes less than 2 mins from the time I order to the time i get to the pick up window and i"m driving off in 2 mins. I tend to hit this McD's occasionally for lunch, since I work right around the corner. The drive-thru at this time is always a bit of a nightmare, since there are simply way more cars than room for them through the parking lot. They generally snake into the parking lot of the shopping center next door, leaving a gap for through traffic -- and that one oblivious person who cuts in line without noticing the string of cars backed up and already waiting. Somewhat recently, this McD's added a second drive-through order speaker thingy, but it's a little awkward. Instead of having two drive-through lines or two cars in a row ordering at the same time, you have to split out of the line to the second speaker and then merge back in. Another opportunity for an oblivious driver to enter the side of the line and cut in front of everyone. -- And seriously, this happens pretty much every time I'm there. On the up side, the people at the drive thru windows, both taking orders and taking payments, are really quick and aren't unfriendly. Plus, they've never gotten my order wrong, which is kind of a miracle when it comes to fast food places. I can't really recommend stopping here for lunch (unless you want a lesson in patience with the never-ending drive-through line that blocks everyone who's gone in from being able to get out of their parking spaces), but it's not a bad experience if you're looking for cheap eats fast. read more

There is a man who takes the orders in the morning around 8:45 a.m. who cannot listen to what is said. If you order a cup of black coffee, he asks if you want cream & sugar in it. Black coffee means nothing in the cup except black coffee. He talks over you, can't listen, interrupts, tries to wrap the customer around his style getting them to listen while he recites all the possibilities associated with what you started to say before he interrupted then rather asking you to check off which of his spoken menu you want. You have to accommodate what appears to be a learning disorder. He simply cannot listen & then repeat what you said. Instead, he turns it through his recitation of the menu & asks you which of the things he said you want. It's very frustrating until you give in to the craziness, then you get your black coffee. read more

I've never received an order from a McDonald's as jacked-up as from this location... Well, I did receive a Big Mac from a Tyler, TX location a couple weeks ago that had no hamburger patty whatsoever. But tonight's half-hearted attempt by this Austin, TX location's dream team was truly special. The Big Mac from the McDonald's Mo-Pac location was horrible. It was almost just stale buns and patties. I requested extra sauce & extra pickles and neither of which made their way to the burger by the worthless idiot(s) working the line. The McNuggets were so over-done they weren't even edible. I called the location and was hung-up on. It wasn't as though they were in the middle of being slammed. I'm incredibly understanding and realize you get what you pay for. However, I was the only vehicle in the drive through and no one was at the counter. Bottom line, these folks have zero pride in what they do and will more than likely be minimum wage earners for eternity. read more
