I brought the boys here for an ice cream cone and we all were pleasantly surprised with their large, 3-tier play gym. What was supposed to be a 15 minute visit turned into a 60 minute visit. The place was clean, service was fast and the cones were OK. One negative: Maybe I'm used to how they do it in Las Vegas, but the ice cream on the ice cream cones were weak and pretty short. placed an order for a breakfast main item and side items at 10:16 AM. I paid and completed the order with a confirmation that my order had been received and would be ready upon my arrival. I arrived at their location at 10:32, only to find that when I tried to enter my parking location for pickup, an error occurred. I went inside and the Mexican manager said that "We are now in our lunch menu, so we can't complete your order." I stated that I had placed the order at 10:16. He said, "It is after 10:30 now, and we are serving lunch." As usual, no customer satisfaction, just excuses and animosity generated towards a lifelong customer. One of the employees at this McDonald's... let's call him Barette Man... must genuinely hate his job, people, and the world as a whole. I have had multiple poor experiences with him at this McDonald's. He has kicked my friends and I out of the playset despite staying out of other's way. He also refused to give a water cup on another occasion, despite us being paying customers. Furthermore, when meeting up with friends who got food at the Taco Bell across the street, Barette Man kicked my friends out of the restaurant. Overall, rude. Multiple bad experiences. I'm now done with McDonald's permanently. I cut way back on my visits when they first installed their ordering kiosks, but I'm NEVER going back after today. This particular location has no one assigned to the front counter. You can't even get their attention because they are too busy throwing orders out of the drive through window as fast as they can. There is no way to place an order inside the store except through the ordering kiosks with the Microsoftian pictorial drop down menu tree, which is designed NOT to let you order what you came in wanting, but to sell you items you didn't want. I spent about 3 minutes on the kiosk trying to figure out which picture category my desired breakfast was in and I finally gave up. Two guys were already working at another kiosk when I walked in, and I noticed that they were still trying to place their order 5 minutes later, when I walked out. Went through the line around 6:18. Got my food at 6:45 , after watching multiple, probably ten cars drive away with their food. Which is understandable if I ordered 100 burgers and 100 fries. But no. I ordered a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets for my kids. The boy who took our order didn't say anything to let me know when he was ready for me to talk and just said what I could only hear as "mcdonole," since he mumbled his words like a grouchy 3 year old. I said our order and he responded the same way a normal person would, then didn't speak again. About 2 minutes later as cars in the other line drove away with their food, he spoke again. "mcdonole." oh. So I give him my order again. He gets it wrong. Almost half an hour later when we eventually get our food, it is cold and they gave us the wrong order. This is pathetic. But the last 3 times I've been to this location the fries were indeed well done! This is a rare occurrence. Not only that but the quality of the other food I ordered was better as well. This McDonalds used to be the best in the Avon/Plainfield area. Today, the service was terrible!! The employees were too busy flirting with each other to notice me. The girl who finally took my order was brusque to put it nicely. I ordered a 10 piece nuggets, large fry, and hot fudge sundae. There were two small orders in front of me and it took 12 minutes to get my food. When I got my tray the fries were hot, but the nuggets were cold and the ice cream cup was only half full and mostly melted (like it had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes - the fudge was not even slightly warm) I had to ask two different people for sauce for the nuggets. I usually go out of my way to come to this McDonalds... Hope they go back to superior service soon. read more

I'm grading this on typical large chain fast food scale. Consistent McDonald's food and cleanliness. The interior has been updated to a more modern styling. What really sets this apart is the fantastic kids area. It's half the restaurant. Many individual tables and a large family sized table that seats 12 comfortably. This was the most absolute worst experience, at any fast-food establishment, that I have ever had!! I brought my two, small, young kids in last evening for dinner and play-time. We walked in 10 minutes til 6pm. We ordered our meal using the electronic menu system, which I've never used. It was a bit difficult to use while trying to hold a little one and keep a toddler from wandering, next to me, but I did it. After waiting 27 minutes for our order number to be called (945), we finally got our food. The fires for all three meals were cold. The sandwiches were like warm in the happy meals- and loaded LOADED with ketchup. Almost soggy. My double cheeseburger, no onions- was a dried up, no cheese and extra onion burger. It said specifically on the ticket, stuck to the burger- double cheeseburger, no onion. I took my burger back to the counter and asked for a new burger with cheese and no onion. The mix up was no big deal. I was just glad to have some food for the kids to eat. Finally. Two seconds later, I was handed back the same burger, where the onion had been "shaken" off and a piece of cheese thrown on the bottom bun. I told the gal (manager) that I knew it was the same burger because I had salted it before bringing it back up to the counter. She rolled her eyes at me and I heard the kitchen staff muttering. I was given a new burger but with the lack of any actual customer service and all the side-eye I was given, I was afraid to eat the burger in fear of it being tampered with (spit on). I wasn't the only customer waiting for food, given the wrong order and P.O'd with the whole situation. The customer behind me said she's been waiting about 30 minutes also. This is totally unacceptable and I can't believe the McDonald's Corporation would allow a store to treat its customers this way! We will never go back to this location. ZERO STARS! read more

I used to love going to grab a nice cold drink from this location during the extreme heat we sometimes have. Unfortunately, the quality of service has fallen significantly over the past few months. All I ask is that your employees are capable of putting the lids on their cups. I have consistently been handed overflowing sugary beverages, lid hanging off of the side, and the straw soaked in what I hope was my drink. Not only that, is it really hard to smile?
