I went through the drive thru to order a 20 piece chicken nuggets and a small fry. And of course the Szechuan sauce. They gave me my food at the pay window and luckily I reached in to grab a fry, they were COLD So at the next window I traded for new fries and left. I give my daughter the fries and 6 nuggets.... there are nine nuggets left... wtf?!!! So not only did they initially give me cold fries but they shorted me 5 nuggets Good thing my husband didn't want any. Came here at 2:52 in the am, drive through and the employee/ maybe a Manger he was wearing different clothes, who did not have a name tag was very disrespectfull, first of a women came back to the window and asked for the sprite that he forgot to give, and turned around with an attitude and said, we'll I didn't charge for it, and then ignored her, then it was my turn to pay, gave the money, coins on the top, above the bills, instead of taking the money he says give me the bills first the the change, I then figured I'll just get closer the the window, and hand it all together. Instead of him just taking the money, he repeated himself as if he was doing me a favor. Grabbed the bills from my hands and then took the coins. Despite how much I DISLIKED [with a boiling passion] working here, McD's crew members earnestly try to serve every customer as sufficiently as possible. Customer service, however, is NOT so great. If a customer snaps at the workers, chances are... they will snap back at them. There's really no need to for attitudes, just ask for the manager. Bathrooms could use a bit more work. Kids love it here, because of the "playground" upstairs (which is more for older kids who can work with video games). I would go here for a quickie. Well I am sorry to write another review about HORRID Customer Service. Why do people chose to use a drive thru? I will assume your reasons are the same as mine. I don't want to get out of my car and I need to get my food and leave being short for time. I pull up and my Wife orders her food. I then order the Angus Snack Wrap. The girl taking the order starts repeating the word, "Deluxe?" over and over each time I would ask her what she meant. I then asked,"What was the difference.". She said there was none. A moment later a man,("Later to be known as, "MANAGER"), again askes me if I want,"Deluxe." I say OK. Let me also mention that the Girl would not let me finish even one of my sentences, interupting me every time to try to up sale the order. I then get to the window and again, "THE MANAGER", asks me about the "Deluxe". At this point I then ask again about the difference. He explains that there are a few types. He mentions the Bacon and Cheese (Bacon is proof God is real), so I ask for that. "THE MANGER' proceeds to try and convince me to take the "Deluxe" over and over telling me how wonderful it is with all the trimmings. No I want the Bacon and Cheese. I get to the next window where I am handed my drinks and asked to wait in the parking lot. If you have read my other reviews you know how much I dislike this. So in the lot for the next 5 minutes I have to keep pulling back and forth to let people out of their parking spaces while waiting for my food. This is not why there is a drive-thru and I finally parked to go in and get my food. Once inside I asked what the delay was and was told it would be 5 minutes more. At this point I asked for the order to be canceled. "THE MANAGER" did not address me once at this time. Not to say sorry and not even to say that they order would be right up. He just turned without a word and walked to the back. ( One might assume he had done this many times before.) I stood there another few minutes and was unsure what was being done. So I ask a small woman with glasses what the managers name was. She replied,"Manager". I said I know he is the manager, but what is his name. She told me he has them call him "Manager' and they do not know his name. WHAT? Stop. So I look at another younger girl and ask the same question. She says,"Manager". I then say to her, "When I call Corporate tonight about this, do you really want me to tell them that you don't know the name of the guy you are working for and call him "Manager"? She then told me his name was Juan and that he does this all the time to customers. I then heard another girl ask the first woman,"So should we prepare his order or not?" WHAT?? You did not even start it? I guess Juan did not like I did not take the Deluxe so he was having them make me wait. Juan came back and I explained that he was the a horrid manager and should be fired. Juan gave me my money back and said,"Then you fire me." What? Is he for real? I explaind I wish I could but I will contact those who can. He then said,"No you fire me." I explaind again i wish I could and that he was worhtless and anyone of the kids around him could do a better job. I did speak with the General Manager Trisha about this and she felt embarrased buy Juans behavior. I drove to the McDonlad's in Douglaston today for my breakfast just so I could avoid having to risk having Juan or one of his loyal followers prepare my food. Sad that I have to think that way. I went to purchase a meal but I was curious on what happy meal they carried. So I asked the cashier what toy they had today (it was during the times minions were the happy meal toy) and the cashier said we don't have any toys and walked away to do something else, assuming I didn't want to place an order for food. The WORST service. My friend and I had coupons. When we presented them at the counter, we were confronted by Frieda, who first, misunderstood the coupon for buy one get one beverage, then argued that the two of us could not use our coupons for our meals. I told her, fine ring mine up and my friend will order their meal separately. She still argued, accusing us of doing something nefarious, got nasty and shaking her head and muttering at us that what we were doing wasnt right, finally took our coupons. Not over yet..... she put beverages on a crowded pickup counter about 20 min before our order was called, not telling us that they were ours. And when our orders were ready, and I asked about the beverages, she snapped and pointed at the ones sitting there. I asked for fresh ones and she told me too bad those are mine. All this nastiness in front of the manager, who replaced the drinks himself. If there is an employee of the month, Frieda will never be that employee. She should not be dealing with the public at any time. The manager saw the incident, said he would take care of it and did apologize. I understand its busy. But nasty employees are unacceptable. The staff is absolutely disrespectful in this location. They scree up orders and their attitude is nasty about it. I ordered a frappe and asked for no whipped cream. When I got my order i noticed the cup was not filled all the way and asked if I could get more because it wasn't that filled up. Anytime, anywhere I order a drink and request for no whipped cream. Never in my life have I been told "we're not allowed to fill up past the whip cream line and if I wanted more I should have asked for a medium size". I hate eating at McDonalds unless it's necessary, but these days I've found it's a little more necessary while finishing my college classes and working my internship. I need a quick meal on the go, so I drive over here since its close to both my school and my job. They have screwed up my order numerous times and they always give me an attitude about it. I hate the fact that if you're in the drive thru they make you pull up to the front to bring your order out to you, even if there isn't anyone else in the drive thru behind you! After they messed up my order twice in one week, the woman in the drive thru asked me to park in the front. There was no one behind me. I kindly told her "I'd rather wait here, there isn't anyone behind me." Well, her reply was "Then you don't get your food if you don't follow policy." WTF?! How is it policy to pull up the front when there is NO ONE behind you? And even when there is a line, the purpose of a line is to wait your turn. I really don't care if the person behind me's food is ready before mine; I was in line FIRST, I should be served first. Not put off to the side where you can mess up my order. A few days later, I went there to order a large caramel iced coffee, which is what I always order. The woman who always sees me gave me a medium, and I told her I ordered a large. She looked at my receipt and said it said medium, so I asked if I could have a large instead. She said I had to pay the difference. I reminded her that we have this same conversation nearly every time she takes my order, because she always messes up. That's not my fault. She should know by now that I order a large, not a medium. I said I didn't want to pay the 60 cent difference, and she said "Then you don't get anything at all." and took my iced coffee back. I had already paid for my medium, and I said "If you're taking that back you better give me a refund because I ALREADY PAID!" In the end, I ended up getting my large iced coffee for free after I yelled and made a scene. But I shouldn't have to do that. I've complained to the managers who really could care less what I have to say. I've even gone as far as to contact the franchise owner, also with no response. And I know I'm only the only one who hates this McDonalds because there's always at least two people yelling at the workers whenever I go there. I don't understand why these workers love saying NO to their customers. I love McDonald's McCafe and if I'm not eating food from there, I'm there for the iced coffee. But I never go to this McDonalds again after that incident I described above. Instead I make a extra drive to the one on Francis Lewis Blvd. in Whitestone. Food is the same as every other McDonald's. Looks like a big place, but seriously cramped. No play area for kids. They're very unfriendly about high chairs: you can't bring one from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, even though there is nothing posted. Tables and benches are very cramped. You would think one of the major contributors to obesity and weight related disorders would be more accommodating towards their growing customer base. read more

My advice for you is that these people are pretty tricky. Just go once in a blue moon because, when you first go there they give you really good service, but when you return because of the first impression, they let you down big time and give you the worst food. The first time i went there just to quickly get a bite i ordered a big mac and a vanilla milkshake, the service was quick and i got two sauces for free. The next day i returned and ordered the same things the big mac looked like it was going to fall apart, the pickels tasted like it was dipped in pee. My milkshake felt like someone spit in it. And the day before i got 2 free sauces, but this time they said i have to pay 75 cents for each sauce. So if your first mcdonald service went swell, dont return next time. Probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. It always smells like chlorine or cleaning products and they got my order wrong and kept arguing they didn't. I asked for no cheese slices on a burger and they still put a ton of cheese on it. Now I understand that fast good places have cheese on most of their products, but I specifically picked a burger where the cheese isn't melted. When I asked for a new one with no cheese they insisted that there was no cheese even when I opened the burger and showed them the cheese slices in front of the manager. One of the workers kept saying it was "the sauce" which clearly wasn't because it wasn't runny and it was a whole slice of cheese that I was taking off from the burger in front of them. read more

I have been going to this McDonalds for years. The other night my hubby had an odd encounter at the drive through, he placed his order, never got a receipt and when he went to the window to get his food he was instructed to wait in the parking lot. Hubby waited about 15 minutes and no one ever came out and the restaurant was crowed so he left and felt he was scammed out of money. I called when he got home and spoke to the manager who was very sweet and apologetic and explained that if your order isn't ready and the folks behind you food is ready are they ask you to go to the parking lot and they will bring it to you. She found the order in the records and took our name and yesterday my hubby went by and was able to get the order. Mass confusion as two long lines that went back to the entrance suddenly became one. I asked person handing out the orders why there's one line for two registers after two lines were already established with people waiting. She asks the second register whether she's open and she says no, so only one register open. I now have to move to the back of the first line. Same woman who said she wasn't open clearly now takes two orders while I'm on line. I ask again the same counterperson why if there's two registers we only have one line she just says just wait until you're called. Fast morning drive up service, despite heavy volume. French fries in old grease, occasionally. Salads and other low-cal foods are well prepared and well priced. Discounts on deserts. Generous with napkins and condiments. Little staff turnover - familiar smiling faces. A "campsite" for locals (unfortunately) is the biggest problem. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! If you have no other option but to go to this branch, then ALWAYS check your order and make sure it is correct. I used to work near this location so I was there on a daily basis for a while. They managed to get my orders wrong almost 80% of the time. They need to hire a manager that actually runs the place and gets the workers to actually work... As far as the food, it is of the lowest quality compared to almost every other branch I have been to in bayside or flushing. The fries here are HORRIBLE. in one container of fries you will have half with no salt and the other half with all the salt in the world...so basically they can't even be bothered to actually mix the fries after salting them (I have actually seen them do this where they will drop one basket of fries and then pour a bunch of salt over it then drop the second basket of fries. then it is served just like that without the bother of actually mixing them...crazy how lazy these people can be)... burgers, salads, etc are all sub-par here so go at your own risk... just remember to CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING! read more

It was late at night and unfortunately the only place to grab a quick meal was at McDonald's. As I approached the drive through a lady (Melanie) took my order and was extremely rude throughout the whole transaction. Towards the end when I said "that's all" to complete my order, she responded with "and I said proceed to the next window" with a terrible attitude. She didn't give me a price so before I assumed it was the $20.67 that was on the dashboard. I gave her $20.67 and she responded with "what is this.. I asked for 22.50" again with an attitude.. After waiting 20 minutes for my food, the supervisor (Ashley) gave me my food and as I tried to speak to her about the situation she responded with "sorry I'll talk to her about it" again with an attitude. So I asked for the manager or whoever was in charge. The manager on duty (Juan) approached me and asked for my story and told me that he can't tell her to go home because he needs her for the shift. Without even trying to escalate the situation Juan said he'll "talk to her later". He even told me many people has complained about her - yet she's still like that? Ridiculous... As I asked for a refund, the window was wide open so I heard, "can he hurry up, there's a whole bunch of cars" if you're working this late night shift and you need the money at least do the job correctly. We had ordered something for our dinner last night. This Asian girl casher was so rude and was very unprofessional. First of all, she seemed not happy to receive our order and take care of the customers. Secondly, we swiped the credit card and paid for the meal, but she didn't give us the receipt. So, we asked for it, and then she just threw it to us. Lastly, she only gave us TWO pieces of napkin, even though this was the order for the family meal order.
