My boyfriend and I came here to have a quick bite to eat and we were so impressed with the food. The food tasted absolutely amazing! Everything has a little bit of Irish flair and made the meal that much more amazing. We had something known as Irish nachos I highly recommend them. They taste so good. The waitress/bartender was very nice and informative. She made sure we had everything that we needed and we didn't have to wait for her to come to the table. She came at the perfect time every time. The bathroom was incredibly clean, which I was actually not expecting from it being a bar. Was very happy about that. The overall atmosphere of the bar was very nice. It's a wooden bar feel and it just have a great aesthetic. My only negative about this place is as soon as I walked in it reeked of cigarette smoke after a while it did dissipate, but that was very potent for me. Overall, I do highly recommend coming to this place, especially if you want to have a great meal with an Irish twist.

Steak Sandwich

This was our first time here and we felt so welcomed! We had one of the specials "Corn-beef & cabbage" and an Irish steak sandwich! Food was great even though we arrived at around 9pm. The atmosphere was fun! They had multiple TV's and we got to watch the World Baseball Championship! Although, the US lost we cheered them on as a community! We will be back!!

I came here on a random visit on my way home on a rainy cold day for a quick meal before transferring to another bus. There were only 2- 3 people there and a backup bartender serving everyone. I loved the bartender who also shares the same first name as yours truly. I ordered the beef tacos special for $10 with a draft cider. The meal hit the spot. The vibe was chill and had a great time meeting new people. I heard that brunch was popular, and one day, I'll head there on a brunch date.

Queens Village finally has a local bar! I say Queens Village even though it's technically located in Oakland Gardens we are claiming it! A solid bar that respects old school bar tradition. They have daily food specials ... I have tried everything from empanadas, to chili, to chicken fingers and tacos! I have not been disappointed by anything and now I consider stopping here on the way home from work for a quick dinner. Monday - Taco specials Monday Tuesday - Burger specials Tuesday Saturday and Sunday - Weekend Brunch Sundays - Hot dog specials There is an outside seating section in the rear tucked away from the union turnpike traffic. All in all solid!

Ordered some wine. But not a real happening place. A bit of a senior citizen hangout.

You ever find a place that just feels....wrong?…read more Ok, so as most of you know by now, I adore a dive bar..... like Frank Gahllager levels of love*. So when I knew I would be in the area for a while waiting for a ride, I figured I'd find refuge in a place that made me feel at home. This place should have fit that bill, but man looks can be deceiving. I'll be honest, when it comes to sticky floor dive bars, I tend to ignore ratings...well not ignore, but almost inverse the score. The lower the rating, odds are the better the dive it is. This place's rating wasn't far off, if anything, maybe a litle too high. It started innocently enough when they told me they were cash only...fair, it's only 2021 and yelp says you take cards..but yeah fair. Anywho, a quick jaunt to the corner Capitol One**, and I was back no worse for the wear..somehow. I got back and ordered a beer and a shot. In a dive bar. In a neighborhood where someone like Frank Gahllager could literally be....and it was 15$? Come on, guys. It was a bottle of Coors Lite and a shot. Never mind the fact that the place was on fire with people having...lets just say a little too much fun at 5pm on a weekday (even for me), and I was sold that this place was pretty much the pits of hell. Was I waiting for a ride still? yes. Does that mean I stayed? Absolutely, but I made sure to keep it to mugs of Bud (PS they ONLY serve Bud and somehow Stella on draft....). Don't get me wrong, it took forever to get another beer, as it was change of shift and the old bartender ran away while the new one basically told everyone to piss off for 15 min's as he set up. So TL;DR. This place is as dirty as a dive bar, has shitty booze like a dive bar, but charges like a normal bar and has bartenders that are pretty much the worst. For the record, those bartenders should have been a tip-off that this wasn't really a dive, as dive bar bartenders, as a rule, are the fucking best. _______________ *Minus the absolute rock bottom that is Frank G. **I LOVE this city, but man is this neighborhood the worst. Like people blowing smoke in your face and looking at you for a second or two too long kinda the worst....let me stop clutching my pearls now.

John Duggan's - Tulip Avenue, Floral Park, NY…read more We recently hosted a baby shower for our niece, Michelle, at John Duggan's in Floral Park, and it was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end! Kathleen, John, and Micaela (and friend, sorry I can't remember your name) were absolutely amazing to work with. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made all the difference. Every time we called with a question or request, they responded promptly and went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. They had a problem at the pub They kept us informed with progress We wanted to continue with this pub and these people because of the professionalism and also they made us feel like family. You could genuinely tell they cared about making our event special--and they absolutely delivered. The food was delicious ( thank you Kathleen), the setup was beautiful, and the service throughout the event was top-notch. Kathleen, John, and Micaela went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their efforts made the baby shower feel effortless and joyful. If you're looking for a venue that combines outstanding service with a personal touch, look no further than John Duggan's. We can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event!

A friendly local neighborhood Irish pub in queens that keeps it simple and old school which I…read moreprefer..Good place to grab a few drinks , watch sports and hit some pool balls while the darts are hitting the board .Old school interior that's heavy on wood and lite on the chill vibe . While cuz is sitting at the bar taking to his boys , I am across the bar at my own table watching the Yankees and met game while the world cup is on most of the giant screens . Prices for booze is reasonable and I ain't sure if they serve food as I didn't notice any at the bar or the tables . A cool relaxing pub to get your drink on and watch sports without the noise or frat atmosphere. 4 stars on my yelp meter.

This place is not fancy but it's a good neighborhood spot I think. First the service, the bartender Mia was nice and attentive. She can make a mean cocktail. I would come back just to try those honestly. I ordered a lemon drop and it was good. Second the prices. Listen I don't think you can beat those prices. Beer is around $5 Cocktails from $8-10 and a personal pizza (the only food offered) is $8. Pool is $1 just make sure you have quarters or the bartender can make change for you. The pizzas were decent. You definitely can split between 2 people. Wish they offered more food options though. Come here if you just needs a spot for cheap good drinks and to chat with friends. Very laid back.
