This has to be one nastiest McDonald's restaurants I have ever been to, and includes Newark. The stench inside was indescribable, combined with the complete dirty ass tables/floors/soda station and you have an en establishment that's more suited for serving pedofiles than regular customers. I made a mobile app order, my first with this company. I go to curbside to pick it up, i go to pay, the app says I'm 1.52 short. Okay. My fault. run in and ask can we just get a refund. I was told, 'oh the 23$ will get refunded, do not worry, if you can't pay the whole order the app WILL NOT take the charges' Okay. We go home. empty handed. I checked my credit card, pending transaction: 23.00. Okay...now we can't get food from anywhere because its been taken out. we call the store, 'just come in and we'll take care of you' We go in. Great customer service from attendant who marks down teh whole order and says, we'll give you your food, you just pay 10.57 instead of 23. ok. we use our debit card for the 10.57. and 'the 23 is pending, not posted, so it's not a problem WE PROMISE. it will drop off' we go home, food is missing, but they marked it down, we didnt pay for all of it because of the mark down so we figure okay sure no problem we wont bother complaining we've been a hassle enough as is. well. 10.57 posted. and so did the 23. POSTED not PENDING. it didn't DROP OFF. i call the store, ask for a manger, explain, they said oh well nothing we can do here's the service number. call the service number. spend a half hour. [43 minutes to be exact] on the phone with the guy who asks, what kind of phone did you have? whats the ios? what version of the app did you have? were you attached to wifi or data? doesn't ask the order numbers. doesn't ask the time. says 'oh we'll get this up to tech support for mobile app, and get back to you.' when? 'oh i dont know.' three to five days? 'oh i dont know.' its twenty three dollars people. twenty three dollars. customer service is running me around trying to get me off the phone for TWENTY THREE DOLLARS. you don't have the AUTHORITY to do a refund for twenty three dollars? i have my STATEMENTS proving i was charged TWICE. but no. thats not enough. i have email receipts saying the wrong amount. thats not enough. no it matters what phone i was on. fucking bullshit. mcdonalds doesn't care about it's employees first of all and it sure as hell doesn't care about it's customers. they're an evil corporation who wouldnt know customer service if it bit them on the ass. don't. bother. read more

I have been to McDonald's all over North and Central America. Mexico, Canada, Panama, Costa Rica, Detroit, Baltimore, Vegas and this has to be by far the worst McDonald's anywhere in this hemisphere. The regional franchise manager must loath having this location in his territory. Never have I encountered something so broken that is so regimented. This McDonald's is a habitual offender of the following: - Drive thru backups - Slow service - Incorrect orders - Forgetting sauce - Ignoring special requests but still charging you for them - Serving yesterdays iced tea which has turned (*personal pet peeve*) - Cold food - Rude employees And for an extra kick in the ball bag - for some unknown reason this location charges more for the same food then the one on Michigan Ave in Canton and the one on Rawsonville Road (which is also in Belleville) does. You really need that extra dollar and six cents bro? Really? This place was never that great to begin with but ever since they added the double drive thru it went completely to shit. This McDonald's location is always messing up our food orders. They ALWAYS forget to give us something that we've ordered. In addition, the staff isn't friendly. Your lucky to get them to even look at you. There's no hello, goodbye, thank you, your welcome, etc. The fries are always burnt and the strawberry cream pies are over cooked half the time. The manager/owner/corporate of this location need to get it together to get their team more organized. They all need to be retrained on acceptable customer service attitudes. They also need reinforcement about the importance of vigilance when completing an order to ensure the customer is getting everything they order. My husband has started driving out of his way to go to the Rawsonville McDonalds because he's fed up with everything from the Belleville location. read more

This is one of the slowest McDonalds I have ever been too. Even now with two lanes, you still find yourself in for a long wait. The service is always rude and abrupt. If they heard you wrong on the speaker and you they to tell them that, you get nothing but silence as you watch tour order being changed on the screen. This McDonalds is hit or miss. Sometimes we go and we get a fresh burger and Fresh hot fries. Other times we get a burger with a bun that is so hard and dry that you literally cannot eat it and the ff are old cold and awful. I don't understand why there is such a drastic difference in the quality of food you get here. I would say that 3 out of 5 times that you might go through the drive thru late at night they inform you that it's cash only. There should be a way to let the customers know this before they wait in line 15 minutes. Maybe an employee could let customers know? The most infuriating thing about this McDonalds is that they don't seem to care what quality of food they put out. The "I'm sorry next time you come in, say you talked to ______ and tell them we owe you _____. What is so hard about a manager or shift leader checking the quality of the products that are being sent out. If everyone got a fresh hot meal every time they spent their hard earned money (which is what they should be getting) the word would get around quickly and stores sales would go up. Terrible drive thru service. I go about 2x's a week. No matter what time of day, no matter how many people waiting, no matter what is ordered, I'm moved off to the "wait over there" part of the parking lot. Runners are never sure which order goes to which car. The Ypsilanti store drive thru doesn't allow for a car to be moved off to wait and they manager to get everyone thru really quickly. Be warned, this McDonalds is horrable. The service is slow, the dinning area is dirty, and the food is often made incorrectly. I have eaten here many times because of the location however I wlll be taking my business elsewhere. I'll often count 10 or more employees in the kitchen yet no food is being served. Customers stand in long lines waiting for their cold fries. If you visit, count the employees having a party in the kitchen talking about their personal problems with little self-awareness. My girlfriend and I went to this McDonald's location because we didn't want to take the time to cook. We arrived at 12:30am with only two customers ahead of us and we left at 1:05. We ordered 2 McDoubles, 1 20 piece McNugget, a sprite and a coke. The manager at the first window read our order back properly, however when we arrived at the second window the lady scoffed and rolled her eyes before opening the window to give us our drinks and we waited until 1:05am for our food. Our fries were cold and soggy, and instead of 2 McDoubles we received one poorly constructed big mac. We will not be returning to this location again.
